Dayzzie (Dayton-Schultzzie lol) is BACK by popular demand!!! In today's new video, miss Sierra Schultzzie and I are styling the SAME EXACT clothes into OUR OWN outfits! I ordered 3 of the same clothing items for each of us - 1 from a BIWOC-owned brand, 1 from an accessible/affordable brand, and 1 from an ethical/sustainable brand! (we'll talk about the last one in the video lol because yikes.) Each of us then had the challenge of styling those 3 pieces into full outfits in our OWN style! We took IG photos in each of them and revealed the looks to each other live in this video - IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I felt like a kid playing dress up and major props to Sierra for coming up with the fun twist for this video. We know you love our size 14 / size 16 / midsize / plus size try on videos, so this felt like the safest way to do so in the current moment. Hope you enjoy!!!

Just watched both videos and had to come back to say that I NEED a new series called “Carrie Styles It” where you pick an item like the yellow blazer and style it several ways (daytime casual, business meeting, date night, etc). You could link any new items and we could thrift/ shop our closets for others.

I would love to see this same concept, but instead of buying new clothes for the video, you and Sierra pull things you already own and send them to each other to style! It would be interesting to see how you style someone else’s clothes, while also possibly breathing new life into your clothes. A “Friend’s Thrift Flip”, if you will. :)

If you do keep the lilac overalls, try styling a darker purple, long sleeve shirt underneath, to get that "monochromatic" style that is definitely trending right now. :D

I actually felt like the red top could be styled SO MANY ways! Black skinnie, regular denim jeans, bell-bottoms; a white flowy boho skirt, printed boho skirt, denim skirt, white short skirt, black skirt; denim overalls, corduroy overalls, pinafore or overall-style skirt... and then SO many accessories! Belts, scarves, cardigans, necklaces, headbands, straw hats; sandals, flats, sneakers, boots... Can style toward modern, or cottage core, or boho, or Lolita, or fantasy/medieval-inspired... SO many possibilities!! :)
Exactly. I have a few tips like this. Maybe to many. And have so many ways to style it and can make it look so different depending on how you style it

For anyone interested Lucy and Yak have put out a public apology on their site and have called themselves out on their terrible response. It's so sad this issue wasn't dealt with properly to begin with but I will say it is very nice to see a company stepping up and admitting their wrongdoings.

Try seamless! Although if not worn right they will give you a similar unwanted look. (I turn the bottoms of the legs outward a little and the fabric moves away from giving me camel toe & unwanted looks like that, while still taking no time to put on, and it lasts all day! Hope this helps)
Usually that happens when you need a longer crotch rise and you can lengthen the crotch rise yourself with a sewing machine.
I definitely agree on the L&Y situation; I'm very disappointed on how they handled themselves and the situation. I've bought 4 items from them in the past and while I don't want to contribute to cancel culture (which is what Aja was not trying to do nor Carrie, we are only asking for accountability), I will putting my purchasing power on hold to L&Y. Especially until we see more accountability and growth from them, thank you for addressing this Carrie!

I definitely agree with Aja and that she was asking for accountability instead of canceling them, but I don’t think Carrie’s response leaves open as much space...Like you I plan to keep on following Lucy and Yak to see if they hold to the promises they made in their public apology.

You should recreate Pinterest outfits like Sierra did a couple weeks ago or recreate your favorite insta photos of each other (using what's already in your closet).

Sometimes the way you talk about being locked up for the entirety of quarantine comes off in a “I’m better than thou” type of way. (I know you recently went to Trader Joe’s.) I work in retail for 45 hours since the pandemic has started. I don’t have room in the budget to have everything delivered to my house. And I can’t entertain myself by online shopping on an even weekly basis. I do love you, and just cause we leave the house doesn’t mean we aren’t trying our best
