Rode VideoMic Go II - Why I bought one?

These are my first impressions for my new microphone: the Rode VideoMic Go II. This microphone is really versatile and I use it in different use cases: recording voice over for my TH-cam videos, video calls or using it directly with my camera for A-Roll or B-Roll.
The sound quality is amazing for its price so I’d say is the best microphone for youtube for its price. I would recommend it to anyone starting on a budget for its quality vs price.
The audio for the full video has been recorded with the Rode VideoMic Go II, except when compared to the Sony a6700 in-camera microphone.

For vlogging I use the rode VideoMicro 1. I’m thinking of upgrading. Do you think it’s worth it? 🤔

If it's only for vlogging I'd say it's not worth it. I will still use my VideoMicro 1 for travel, as it fits better in my backpack.
Don't take me wrong, the GO II is fantastic and it has slightly better sound quality. Also, you don't need to put the input level as high as the VideoMicro so you get less noise. But overall the VideoMicro is a fantastic microphone and more than enough for that use case.
What made me do the jump was the other use cases that I mention in the video and the ability of monitoring directly in the mic.
