Murphy is absolutely arrogant and an absolute hypocrite. If Ronaldo wanted to show his emotions, he is allowed to do so like any other footballer. He felt guilty of missing that penalty, for a man of his stature, he felt he let the Portuguese people down as well as his teammates. So for him to have that moment and then dust himself down and actually have the energy and strength to right his wrong shows he is not only human, but he can bounce back from adversity. Ronaldo may not have scored much goals so far in the tournament, but he is contributing to the other players in the team, he is a world class player for many reasons, he works hard, he helps all those around him and never shirks responsibility. Well done to him and Portugal and hope they can carry on.

I'm English....we've all seen many players cry when their team is eliminated and I've never seen an English person criticise that but Portugal hadn't gone out (and didnt) at that point. It was unprofessional , he still had an important job to do.

Bernardo Silva summed it up beautifully, he's such a lovely guy and top player a credit to Man city and Portugal. To be fair that Slovenian game was all about Cristiano and his petulant antics.

Bernado Silva was just as bad as Ronaldo, he failed to cross the ball or offer anything creative up front. In fact when you watch Bernado playing for Man City (yeah i know 2 different teams bla bla) he is constantly crossing the ball for Haaland and causing problems to the opposition. Yes, Bernado works hard but offered nothing up front. Not good enough when he is one of the most talented players in that Portugal squad. Ronaldo only cares about his image now, his love for Portugal is not there anymore!! Martinez needs to be sacked for refusing to bench Ronaldo, absolutely unnacceptable!! Jota, Ramos, Neto, Felix etc... so much talent on the bench and Martinez failed to serve the country a better tournament. I remind you Portugal that had the best bench squad of the Euros and Martinez didn't use it to his advantage, what a bunch of cowards him and Ronaldo!!!!!
