- Here’s how to fix your infinity airbag light if your seat sensor has gone bad.
Remember that the airbag will go off no matter who is sitting in the seat so please don’t put your child up there if you use this fix.
This works BUT as you will see others comment, the passenger seatbelt light may stay on after the emulator is installed. Disconnect the seatbelt connector under the passenger seat (follow the wire from the seatbelt to the connector). Leave it disconnected and the dash light stays off.
hey @tomc2690 I plugged in the airbag 360 emulator and it worked. Just not sure which one is the seat belt cable to remove the seatbeat dash light. Note: I added the airbag 360 emulator without removing my seat.
Follow the wire from the seatbelt locking end while the seat is lifted slightly up so that you can see the wire. Follow it until you see the connector and unplug :)
You can buy a seat belt clip for $6.00 or a seat belt extender for $15. Don't go through all that trouble.

Thank you. What is the part number for the Nissan Emulator? Can you provide more info on how you diagnosed? (my airbag light is on and the seat warmer isnt working)
Yep it worked perfectly. I bought the same airbag360 emulator except it specifically said Infiniti and between this video and one I saw from another guy who discussed removing the seat (btw - I removed the front bolts and loosened but did not remove the rear bolts. Hi Brady, after you installed the airbag 360 emulator, did you not have to worry about seatbeat light coming on the dash when no one is sitting in the passengers chair?
I installed this a week ago and the only downside I notice, is now the passenger side seat belt light stays on all the time, because with this device, the computer now thinks someone is sitting there.

that's the same thing that happened to me when I installed mine. so it's like pick your poison. so annoying that Infiniti made such a crappy seat sensor on such an important part.
@@huntersmith674 Same, but it’s an easy fix too! I unplugged the seatbelt connector while I still had the seat out for the emulator. In other words, remove the 4 bolts to access the seatbelt connector and simply unplug it. No seatbelt indicator light, but a passenger could now not wear a seatbelt

Soooo your emulator does what? My airbag light sometimes stays on when someone is sitting, meaning the airbag is off. Is there a way to manually turn the airbag on and off? Thank for any help.

Just mess around until you figure it out. It shouldn’t be that hard.
Did anyone figure out how to lift the seat up?
There's a video on TH-cam with a guy showing how to unbolt the seat so you can lift it up. Not complicated at all, just maybe a little time consuming. There are four bolts holding the two parallel rails under the seat to the floor. You just need a ratchet with an extension and the appropriate sized socket. I just bought the emulator so I'll be doing this operation myself.
