I like that you matched their names. We have a Daisy Duck and then our other dog that we got last year is Willow Wren to keep with the flower bird theme. It is so fun to have themed names for pets.

I got a toy Aussie a couple of years ago, but he had a sever heart condition, so I had to rehome him to my grandparents where he could live a quieter life. around 5 months later I started searching for another dog and Goldens were a top contender! I ended up going with the Boykin spaniel, but id still love to own one some day 🥰

I got a female black lab puppy and I was so looking forward to puppy snuggles but she never stops to cuddle she’s always crazy! She’s like a hyperactive child. I’ve tried everything, going for walks and runs (up hill especially) mental enrichment and training but she just never stops. She’s still my little baby though 😂❤
I have a black female lab too and she was so crazy. But after the first year she calmed down and gives lots of snuggles. She’s two now and loves all the cuddles and attention.
I have a belgian malinois. And these puppys are crazy crazy. But after a year he calmed down and is now a cuddly dog to the point if he sees you sitting you have a 35kg dog on you. Whic is hard now for me as im pregnant 🤣 its hard to say no to his cuddles. But give her time, and if you have a dog she hangs out with sometimes thats older and likes cuddles. Do it infront of her so she knows you like it. We did that with mine and he got it very fast. Best of luck ❤️
I am generally not one to support people who “buy” dogs from breeders. I would much rather see adoptions out of shelters that are greatly overwhelmed. I do, however, appreciate that you have researched the breeds to choose the right dogs for your situation and I also commend you on your training skills with them. I can’t wait to watch this adorable little one grow into a mature, well trained, and happy doggo ❤
As someone who wants a breed that usually isn't in shelters till it's older, I would have to buy from a breeder. However, the health risks are lower, the temperament is more predictable, and the socialization skills of a puppy from a registered breeder are usually better. Plus I want a relationship with the dogs parents so I know my dog's entire history. That's just my two cents on your comment lol.
Hey Marissa beyla it’s so cute we had a golden retriever years ago and I barely grew up with her because after I was born she was almost 9 or eight years old and she passed away a couple years ago either in 2020 or 2019. she was 14 years old. But we have another dog now she is a mountain cur. I don’t know if you’ve heard of that breed. but she is sooo cute
I really wanted to name my dog cricket but the name Willow won with my family lol (even though she was mine pfft) and I always regret it although I love the name Willow too, it’s just super basic for an animal. Next dog I get will be a cricket 🤣
