I have the same laptop, but i bought another stick of ram so i have 12GB of DUAL CHANNEL, that increased the performance drastically it has about 20 fps more in all these games, i would recommend dual channel for gaming.

GTA V is unable to read out the correct vram amount of integrated graphics. There simply is no dedicated vram. Correct number would be 0MB. However your integrated graphics called Radeon graphics is able to take 512MB up to 2GB AUTOMATICALLY of your normal ram as vram. This has got nothing to do with your system having 4gb, 8gb or 16 gb ram. However the performance in games is going to increase heavily by upgrading your system with more ram. But this has got nothing to do with the vram.

Unfortunately it seems like your performance is going to be way worse. I searched up for your model and it has got only 1x8GB RAM bar. This means you're not running on dual channel ram. Dual channel meaning 2 ram bars is essential for gaming on an apu. So right now you're going to get 20-30% less in terms of fps in games compared to the system in this video. If you're going to upgrade from 1x8GB to 2x8GB you should be able to get around the same performance like shown in this video.

well, the truth is your system has got actually 0MB of VRAM for your vega 3. But it's able to take between 512MB up to 2GB automatically of your normal ram as VRAM. Dude I have acer a315-23 ddr4 8gb (2400mhz/5.94gb usable) ssd 256gb Ryzen 3 3250u same processor but it's unplayable in my laptop i don't know why it peaks up to 85-95°c instantly when i open it and the framerate is also really bad like 19-25 fps

I would suggest you to upgrade ram to 16 gb (add another 8gb ram stick with 2400mhz preferably crucial) then it'll run very smooth because the laptop reserved 2.1 gb ram to graphics and windows 11 uses 2.5-3.5 gb of ram to operate programs/services so you'll probably get 3.4- 2.4 gb of ram to use for yourself and that effects a lot. Now I gett around 50-60 fps in Minecraft Java (Optifine 1.16.1, low settings 8chunk render distance) go for it i'll say. I also develop games in unity. Works totally fine. But still getting another stick of ram will significantly boost your laptop performance.

hey man, i have a lenovo v15 of 2020 with same cpu and gpu, 8gb ram but only 6 usable, i wonder tho, i don't feel like my cpu/gpu is using its full potential, like i run gta 4 on 30-40 fps, rocket league on 1280x720p resolution around 60 fps, its laggy on 1920x1080, i dont understand why that?

Unfortunately it seems like your performance is going to be way worse. I searched up for your model and it has got only 1x8GB RAM bar. This means you're not running on dual channel ram. Dual channel meaning 2 ram bars is essential for gaming on an apu. So right now you're going to get 20-30% less in terms of fps in games compared to the system in this video. If you're going to upgrade from 1x8GB to 2x8GB you should be able to get around the same performance like shown in this video.

why does my r3 3250u only have 512mb of vram for its vega 3?
well, the truth is your system has got actually 0MB of VRAM for your vega 3. But it's able to take between 512MB up to 2GB automatically of your normal ram as VRAM. That's why it's important to have 2 ram bars (dual-channel ram) and at least 8 or better 16GB of ram in your system, to get the maximum performance in games. And you know what before reaching any vram limitation your system is going to be bottlenecked by its raw performance. So you shouldn't worry about any VRAM issues. Rather be sure to have dual-channel ram in your system.

@@Raj_Pandya I got my laptop on 14th feb I updated the windows and the problem is fixed. I would suggest you to upgrade ram to 16 gb (add another 8gb ram stick with 2400mhz preferably crucial) then it'll run very smooth because the laptop reserved 2.1 gb ram to graphics and windows 11 uses 2.5-3.5 gb of ram to operate programs/services so you'll probably get 3.4- 2.4 gb of ram to use for yourself and that effects a lot. Now I gett around 50-60 fps in Minecraft Java (Optifine 1.16.1, low settings 8chunk render distance) go for it i'll say. I also develop games in unity. Works totally fine. But still getting another stick of ram will significantly boost your laptop performance.
