Seriously impressive trucks!! I cannot believe how the Kamaz has developed over the years from and old looking (yet highly effective Russian military truck) To what you just showed us here the truck looks incredible!
Very impressive trucks, but you forget put ones of the amazing trucks company, i mean its the Pacific Trucks, established in Canada and this company created really big truck P12 & P16 its one of them!!
Foremost Industries in Calgary Alberta Canada has been building these huge trucks for years, They build with tracks and tires for muskeg and Ice fields. One of the best large vehicle manufacturers in the world and some how you missed them...
They're very similar looking and frequently confused. Especially because Kenworth has just numbers for the names it can get confusing. They also make so many trucks that are similar to each other constantly mixed up lol. But yes you are correct my friend! 💯 I believe the 953 had a slightly more pointed nose as well as many other more modernized features.. I went on a deep dive trying to find information about the old 853s from the late 40s. They were even bigger than the 953 and 963 and I can't even find a picture of one in color. So little information about them for some reason. Kinda sad honestly because the trucks are so awesome and their engineering art and achievement. They're a part of human history and conquest. Sad to see such amazing machines lost to time. I just wish they'd saved one or two for a museum or something. Or at least let people build a kit version of it or something. Idk just bums me out seeing how many amazing creations just don't exist and nobody really thought to save it or save information about them.. they were famous at the time as the truck that towed a passenger jet out of the desert after it crash landed. They tried to get to it a few times and couldn't. Then the oil riggers came to the rescue with the biggest truck in the world and pulled it out of there. If you look up the pictures of it it's an absolute beast of a truck and I wish there was one preserved somewhere even if It's not functional. Like I wish they had a Kenworth museum with at least one of every different models they ever made..
The red Kenworth, looks identical to a P16 Pacific Logger, N.Z. was a major, client of the Pacific in the 60s, Kaingaroa Logging Company, had a Fleet of them, all wheel drive, an was over size, couldn't use public roads, had a Caterpillar C15 D550hp, impressive in those days. Odd it's not in here, Actually the Kenworth is probably identical.
It's on a trailer that has steering. I couldn't really see if it was in the back as well but the jeep dolly had 3 axle steering. Idk if you count that as part of the trailer tho I mean technically it's not it's a separate part that can be connected if need be.. it's a piece that is just like adding another few non drive axle on the truck and an additional point of steering..
at the very beginning of its history Berliet was a steam locomotive builder !! If you look closely at the brand's logo you will see a stylized locomotive there. the Round for the body of the locomotive, the rectangle for the chimney, and the diamond for the snowplow !!
Honestly being objective, the Kamaz and Russian trucks in the snow and water were most impressive. Of the big trucks the Kamaz looked like the most modern up to date.
The great thing about the Berliets is that you could park them *anywhere.* I mean you probably shouldn't, but what city has a tow truck that could budge one?
Noone will Ever know What Any of these Trucks are Made of Until, They are Tested in The Impassible Roads of The Rainforest. Even Trials are Still Man made Tracks. Real ,Test. Can Only be Conducted in The Rainforest. Just Sayin, keep it Real.
I work for kenworth truck company and have built many 963 trucks when I worked in our off highway area . they have been to the rainforest. And our c500 trucks also I would say in all types of terrain sand dunes in Saudi Arabian oil fields no roads of course. at one time would assembly our trucks then deassmbly them into crates to be reassembled in Indonesians Rain forests for logging that was c500 model.
I was just looking at the Kenworth 853 from the tail end of the 1940s. It's such a massive truck and so dope. But sadly there's very little information about it and very few pictures. I couldn't even find a single picture of it in color.. it was known because a passenger plane had to emergency land out in the middle of the desert. They evacuated the people by helicopter and stuff but nobody could get out to the jet to bring it back. 4x they failed until the rig workers volunteered their time and equipment. They used the Kenworth 853 and pulled the thing out of the desert. It was almost bigger than the jet itself lol. It's such a crazy and amazing truck way ahead of it's time as far as capabilities. It was just so massive and powerful. It's really sad tho I can't find any still intact or anything. Not even a single picture of one since color picture was invented. I've heard they have some sitting in scrapyards in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia but they're just shells now. I just wish at least one survived intact and was in a museum or something. I find it really sad that something so amazing and spectacular engineering and pushed human capabilities is just lost to time..😞 if I could I would literally build one myself to at least look just like it. To preserve history and the truck itself. Idk something about the idea of not a single one in existence makes me really sad.. like at least put it in snowrunner or something so the legend can live on.. 🤷🏻♂️
It was strange they showed most of the trucks, stuck, at the end of each segment. In the water, in the snow, not promising. If one of those monsters gets stuck out in the middle of nowhere, nothing short of a couple of Military tank retrievers will get it out.
The KAMAZ 6x6 looked almost Road Legal . Not too wide . The Pivot steering would block Street Legality I think . Although FRANA Cranes use it . That Berliet . Good GOD . 700hp and bigger than Some Houses . Monster . Loved the " Flintstone " Kenworth . Old School Might . LONGGGG as a Lazy Sunday . Burlak looks like a Grown-up version of those little Unstoppable Skid-steer things . Can't remember the name . Same abilities though . Paul Trucks . The AMG of Mercedes Truck Division . We have probably ALL seen those at Airports .

ahh berliet 700 aka Arnie in snowrunner, fun truck :)
Snowrunner IRL 😁🍻
Kraz 255b and maz 537 is giant and old monster.
У старого француза намного лучше дизайн и культура сборки чем у камаза
На КАМАЗЕ ум не хватило баки перенести?
У них ума только хватило ,зделать чтобы ломалось ,то что раньше не ломалось .
Did anyone notice how the move trucks trailer carrying the Berliet maneuvered with a tight turning radius?
The trailers wheels have steering ,enabling it to do that.
It's on a trailer that has steering. I couldn't really see if it was in the back as well but the jeep dolly had 3 axle steering. you missed Pacific and Hayes logging trucks....

А где МЗКТ?
The Russian stuff is the best .... they have years of experience of hard off-road terrain... reliable too ..
😂

POV: you play snowrunner
Simplemente Snowrunner
Good looking design on the Kamaz! Probably extreme competent and reliable. Seems as the Burlak doesn't have so big rims?!? 32mm? Just kidding! :D
Is size important for Russians?
Ulaio braz..
Nice 👍 off-road trucks 🛻
Now I see we're "snowrunner " gets its idea 💡 trucks on steroids

Камаз, как всегда, кабину переделать не в состоянии, для СЕВЕРА кабина нужна широкая, очень широкая.
КамАЗ не чего переделать не может. Делают по типу и так сойдёт.
согласен, метров 500 в ширину, самое то для севера
