Hi Steve. Have you look at Mike Shellim Open TX program that he Wrote for Flying F5J ? Well I am New to F5J and Fly FrSky X10s transmitter and having dumb transmitter Battery problems the Battery that FrSky sent me will not hold and Charge. Back to the Program that Mike wrote it is very Nice for Sailplanes. Do you know if there is a Ethos program for F5J sailplanes? Thanks
Hi Steve there appears to be a program error when using the trims switches adjacent the joysticks. I nearly lost a model with this issue! My model was mechanically set up perfect. For this description I will use the aileron set up but it happens when using all four joystick trims. In the mixer i.e. ailerons I had dual rates and expo set up. When I flew the model for the first flight I had to add a lot of right trim. The problem is the trim switches shift the curser centre point in the mixer, suddenly I had a soft aileron in one direction and violent aileron in the other direction, which took skill and assistance to get the model back and landed. I have been flying for about 30 years and during this time have owned many different brands of transmitters, my previous transmitter being a FrSky X12S that never had this issue. Changing trims should not change the central cross + point on the transmitter. To correct this problem I had to go back to sub trims and dial the problem out there, then back to the mixer and zero the trim button setting back to the centre of the curser point. Next flight I still had use a small amount of trim, then return to sub trims and again carry out the previous procedure. Again repeat, that this has never been a problem with the X12S or previous brands of transmitters. I would appreciate urgent attention be applied to this error. Thanks
@@SteveLoves2Fly So is this actually a problem I need to worry about with my ned 9-30-2023 transmitter? I do not see where this was resolved in this forum
Steve I have a X20S Radio with all the lastest updates, Running a RB35S With 2 TDR10 Receivers also with all the updates. My issue is I can not get the Self Check to work on either bank. We did the RB35S Calibration ,all the control surfaces work fine. Stabilization set up on 3 position switch channels 13,14,and 16 everything works fine. When I go into the RB352 system Stab menu per the manual I can not get the Self Check to Enable or blue test light to start flashing . Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Any help would be grately appriciated.
Hi Steve . Can I setup a helicopter that has a fly bar. I see new radios seem to not support heli with fly bars . And can you do a video on helicopter set up thanks
Hi Steve I am about to put several ADV sensors in my airplane and I have found out that you can only update them one at a time because I tried to put them together through S.Port but you can't so here is my presale can you make it so that you can update your sensors with OTA through your receiver so that you don't have to have them all out again when there are new updates Regards, Palle
Hi Steve iam having some isues with my x18se,i have tryed to put dome extra sounds in the other day but i seem to have done something stupid and now i have no start up voice or anything, when i go into the special funtions wear it says what action there is now play track and more it just says play sound i think, and when i go to the setting to program voice in it it wont let me fo anything it in dark mode yhat section.is there s way to resey the radio to factory settings thanks Steve
Hi, not exactly on topic, but I’m trying to setup RB-30 with two TD10 receivers. I can’t get TD10 to talk to rb30. I can use an ACCESS R8 pro to talk to RB 30 so that I can set voltage and failsafe. I need to be able to do same with TD10.
Hi Steve could you ask the FrSky team to add mixes for 1/ Flaperons 2/ Elevons 3/ Canards, with 2 versions of canards. The first being pitch only and the second being pitch and roll. Many thanks. E
Hello, is there a connection between the simulator and the radio? I can't manage to synchronize them... But maybe we can't ? I have been lookinf for a solution for a long time ... and it's make me crazy!
@@SteveLoves2Fly first thanks for your Replay. I also have a TUNDRA and i would be very curious to acces your complete programming. Certainly to réassurer me 😉
Forgive my roughness: you spent half a minute showing how to set a new airplane which is useful... than you stop and get back showing an already created one. This is what a bad didactic looks like: why didn't you simply go on showing exactly what a user shoudl expect after completing the procedure for creating the plane? I really don't understand poor methodology like this when creating an supposedly informative video. But anyway this interface looks very similar to OpenTx which is not that logic and user friendly, thou improved thanks to graphics and icons.
Hey, thanks for the input. This was one of the first videos I made. It was an overview video of what the radio system looks like, not really how to setup a plane. I do have a new 20 part series that goes through an entire setup of a plane from start to finish, in logical order. You can find it here. th-cam.com/play/PLEJhA1nsJhptOJgEe17geasTNHi92yaH6.html By the way, this is a very old version of Ethos. Its even more impressive now. Ethos is fairly easy to learn if you apply yourself. It simply is the best radio operating system ever created. Nothing else comes close. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air!
Steve, nice content! Keep up the Great work!
What about landing gears? I have no idea how to add a channel for that lol.
Hi Steve. Could you do an "Instant Trim" video please. I am having issues trying to get it to work. ETHOS V1.5.6
Thanks

SBUS out and Smart Port. You need to change a pin to SBUS out using options (next to bind) and then change the port to SBUS out.
Can you set tiler to delay a servo ? for example to close a gear door...
I'd give anything to be able to make my X18 sticks correspond with the sticks on neXt RC simulator

This is something you have to setup yourself. Darren Lines explains how to do it.

Is there a X20s simulator/companion?
Here's a link to the Ethos simulator.

You really need to make your Mouse bigger and a brighter color!
too hard to follow, your all over the place, not using specific language
This is the worst video ever
