Personally, I loved the idea of TDU2 where you start as basically no one and work your way up to riches. And of course the game let you live and play the style you want. Being it "sharp" or "street" style. I can see the "benefit" of having a faction system in a online open world racing game. And I do feel I appeal more to the sharps, always had a thing for being classy and formal dress and all that. But my favourite exotic car brand is Lamborghini. :/ So, if this is gonna be "split" as we are suspecting. I'm not too happy about that. I don't like the idea of restricting content to seperate sides of the game. I feel players should have the freedom to express themselves in any way they wish with housing, decorating, cars, clothes or what other means there might be.
@@TheAlexVII Maybe if you are Sharp and drive a "Street Car" while you're driving it you earn less XP or Credit/Money. If it's this way or some other way where it doesn't restrict you, It wouldn't bother us.
I mean. The concept of TDU was based around sharps like people. Look at TDU2 for example. Everything was about racing with snobs and living the rich lifestyle. Therefore Sharps are my choice. Streets sounds more like it suits NFS, which isn't bad, but I'm here to play TDU this time.
I think exclusive cars are fine providing they are just versions of standard cars that are available for all for example, the streets could have a Lamborghini Huracan Perf exclusive to them, with the standard Huracan available to all and the sharps could have a Mercedes SLS BS exclusive to them, with the standard SLS for all
I don't wanna be a snobby rich person or whatever but I think sharps still seems more interesting to me. Streets just sounds so generic of a setting for a racing game.
My thing is that I like a but of both. In games when it comes to cars I like to be obnoxious whereas I like to make my character classy. I am the opposite in real life though. I hope cars are not locked behind the clans.
The original TDU on the Xbox 360 I remember playing it. On what seems like absolutely donkeys years ago. I remember having a lot of fun though, no doubt. You had a lot of freedom and all the customisations you could do was unique. No wonder, where Forza Horizon got it’s ideas from. TDU was a really nice, fun racing game, as far as I can remember at the time. Unfortunately, I missed out on TDU2 though in all truth. Didn’t even know it existed until pretty recently. Maybe because I was playing the PS3 more at the time. I don’t really know how I could’ve missed it. This one though, it looks really nice and hopefully, it will be going back to its roots. In which, you can do even more cooler stuff in game as 1 single player mode offline and during online challenges as well. Looks promising.
This is such a cool addition to TDU:SC and I cannot wait what the developers have cooked for us 🤩 Thanks very much for sharing this video! 💖 *Greetings from Costa Rica!* 🌴
I also hope that the cars are not divided by clan because if so I will create 2 accounts to have all the cars we hope that the houses are not divided by clan if it would not be beautiful
I need to know more about the clan system. Depending on how it's done, this 2-clan system could be a terrible idea. If it's for career, locking vehicles/liveries to a clan could be upsetting for players when certain vehicles are introduced. Being able to switch clans at any point to obtain clan exclusive vehicles, would kind of defeat the purpose, no? And if it's for multiplayer, I'd rather create my own club, with a club logo/badge/livery, and be able to leave or join a club with some penalty (stats reset, club vehicle access limited, etc.). But if friends have to choose between driving the vehicles they like from a certain clan, vs being in a clan with friends, it's going to suck. Co-op club racing was one of the best parts of TDU2 (until people found out how to cheat the system). I was hoping it would return revamped with ranked based match making, and add seasonal content, like The Crew 2's Summits/events. Currently, it just sounds like a generic 2-clan system that potentially limits content under the guise of clan exclusivity. Streets will be my clan category.
Honestly the clans should not have any car unlocked behind it however i think that both clans should have theyre own abilities or they should have theyre own specialty and pros/cons would i like special liveries locked behind the clan u get honestly kinda yeah it would be a clan exclusive but like i said i hope they dont lock special cars behind the clans and honestly hope they dont botch the "clans" that we going to get. However in my own opinion the clan thing should be only for singelplayer unless its a super huge thing that we have to do online
Informed, thoughtful & good points as always Ice. Funny thing is, as interesting as some of these ideas sound. I'm also a little worried that it could impact the freedom that made the old TDU's great. If they do screw it up however, i'll gladly use all the glitches & exploits I can find to mitigate the grind & have that freedom lol :)
@@crimsonkate8241 Lol. I doubt we can do what we did on PS3 in this new game. Would be crazy if mods/glitches made a return. Made for a good endgame activity on an abandoned game tho'. Thanks for the feedback Kate. Cheers.
We might be entering into a new Racing game era. Where other games being made are so terrible, and good racing games are coming out. Making it worthwhile
I’ll go for the Sharps because Streets are more of showoff’s. I used to be a showoff and I hated it, though, no hate against the Streets clan. I do like it.
Well I think that this idea will be well realized hope to see dealerships with upgrade stores and I’d see in upgrade store body kits as it was in Tdu 1
I'll see how it turns out. IRL i'm definitely a 'street' with often colourful hair and wearing greens and purples together; but i might as well roleplay the opposite. I mean IRL i don't even drive, it's a pointless boring activity, while the majority of my gaming is racing games.
I'll go with streets. An expressive way to show you as an ambitious racer and millionaire. And i dont like to blend with people so much. As long the clan system didnt interfere with car choices. I'll go with streets. But sharps seem interesting as well
The whole "streets and "sharps" thing seems cheesy. I just hope they'll implement a CRC, like TDU 2 has. Being able to create races adds infinite replay value.

Yeah I hope if it is split, the cars aren’t entirely exclusive, or at least you have the freedom to switch between factions and earn rep for each

Im mad tdu isn't online still .. the only game i had 100% on
I voted sharps im going for being a multi millionaire helping out lower levels of possible 🤙🏼
My man
I'll go sharps, but I want free choice of cars.

I’m definitely feeling the sharps….
I’m pretty sure the Aston Martin Driver is the Sharp and the Range Rover driver is a Street

Great video man hopefully we can get a gameplay very soon from them
Good video alex:)
Thanks!
"She belongs to the STREETS" 😂🤪

Holy shit, this will be amazing!

Thanks for the kind words Gabriel!
Both gotta have benefits and disadvantages, this is how i would see it being useful.
sharps is clearly winning
I also hope that the cars are not divided by clan because if so I will create 2 accounts to have all the cars we hope that the houses are not divided by clan if it would not be beautiful
The dev interview is getting me excited
Oh it’ll be exciting indeed, can’t wait to drop the info on that soon :)

I don't know what I'll choose yet. Maybe I'll start 2 characters and just keep playing with the one I like the most, haha
I’ll probably have two also
Irl i'm probably a street but sharps fit the luxury millionaire theme more. forced choices feel like no choices at all.
What do you think Alex?
Man I love this. Kinda leaning toward Streets, but the Sharps might be the underdog here. I like the underdog.
Yeah sharps might be indeed, I feel like end of the day, that’ll be my choice!

Can’t wait for TDUSC to come out. Would ask be cool if they brought a auction house to the game so you can buy cars from another player.

Sharp is cool, i think it sounds "sharp" i'll pick sharp
i'm gonna be a rich knob
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I probably will go Sharps. Function first!
That actually is weird for me cause I fall in the middle of both of those lmfao
I really don't care about this system. If I have to choose I guess I will be sharp I guess...
I cant play this game online, can anybody help me?
Just pick whichever team is winning. Lol
All I know is Mila a BADDIE...
And Sharps ain't got no gotdamn baddies.. so Streets here I come
GOATED
I‘ll Take sharps. I‘m Not a Fan of being Flashy, also shows in my car taste; i‘d take a Turbo s over a huracan etc
Going with sharp. Almost guarantee most children are going to pick street.
I voted for
Supra
I'll go with streets. An expressive way to show you as an ambitious racer and millionaire. And i dont like to blend with people so much. As long the clan system didnt interfere with car choices. I'll go with streets. But sharps seem interesting as well

✅I want the golden
Range Rover✅
Sharps. Made my money off crypto lmao
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The "Streets" vs The "Sharps" so utterly generic... why are developers so fking clueless!?
I’m a sharp in real life 😁
Both leaders of these clans makes me unhappy. Why there is no Chinese, nor British leader?!? This Hong Kong!
