Motorfest has been out for a while with a much larger studio working on it to fix bugs and such, these guys were kinda forced to launch a bit early IMO with Forza set to come out for End of Year and GTA coming out next year, I reckon if they didn't have that it'd be delayed a bit longer but their hand feels like it's been forced to a degree. I wouldn't say it's an 'early' demo, the private betas have been going since last year - with that said I doubt this is the latest version but is probably the closest thing to a stable build which is the first to be publicly available. I was hoping it would be more polished being this close to launch but I've seen some studios make massive changes between demo and launch even with short time frames, so I hope these guys can do the same. They seem dedicated to making the launch as good as possible which seems promising.
You should’ve compared steering wheel rotation and paddle shifter movement because in motorfest the paddles actually move when you shift which is very rare to see in open world racing games. I feel those two details are small but very appreciated

the brakes only get hot when braking a lot of weight for a long time, for long braking you need to brake from a high speed, and not like in the video. So here the TDU is not very realistic. And not all brakes get hot, some need too much load
If you add the two together, it doesn't even make Forza Horizon 4. I wish Forza gave importance to the characters so we could wander around the houses like in TDU 2.
I know ot was just a demo, and the devs said that it was an old version, but i dont understand this, why would the give us an older and less developed version as a demo and not a beta test or something like that? I hate to say it, but I got bored so fast with TCM. I feel like that series was directly inspired by the TDU franchise, yet it never managed to capture the unique charm that TDU 1 & 2 had. As long as Solar Crown is able to capture that vibe, even with a certain degree of unpolish at launch, I know I will still enjoy it.
This happens when you move faster than your Harddrive could load model and texture area data into the Ram. That's why SSDs are essential for today's Games. Just as Games grow bigger and bigger, the Data packages for Game files to load into the System increase likewise. nerdmode off.

Just played solar crown maxed at 4k tonight the handling just doesn’t fill right plus the brake lines are way off alway hit early if you use then. I want it to fill like forza horizon where physics are much better at least spinning tires, drifting and transfer of weight
Also for the gearbox detail in TDU there are some cars who got semi automatic gearboxes in real life and that’s how you shift, my brothers Hyundai has the same concept he can put it in semi automatic and he uses the shifter to pass a gear by pushing it a little bit forward or backwards
I'm really hoping TDU has better steering wheel setup/settings. I cannot for the life of me figure out settings that feel good on my Logitech G923 in motorfest which is a huge bummer to me. So many driving games are plug and play with that wheel. With a smaller development team that might be a stretch but if the handling feels good on a wheel that's huge for me. If anybody has any settings suggestions for motorfest I would appreciate that.

In The Crew MS there are only two Mustang models: 2015-2017 and 2024+ (S650), unfortunately, it was impossible to choose one car model in two games.

スピードトリップなどのマップ上のレース内容・レース後の3位までの車とアバターの演出・クルーコインと同じようなコインの存在・車両カスタマイズの中身・マップに点在する車両パーツ探しなど今判明しているだけでもほぼザ・クルーでそこに少しフォルツァホライゾン要素があるだけのゲームと変わらないですね。
私たちは別の会社が作ったザ・クルーのようなゲームをやりたかったのではなくて、テストドライブが現代でどれだけ進化したかを体験したかっただけなのに残念です。
solar crown is only in its demo chill.. but its a good comparison as to let the game developers know what they should improve on.

Only reason car damage is unrealistic in any game that uses licensed cars is because the motor companies frown upon it.
