Imagine not carrying a water bucket at all times even in late game.
Being in late game does make you forget about the basics...
once i get shulker boxes i always carry a box with basic essentials like wood, cobble, coal, iron, buckets, lol
you don't necessarily always have water buckets. there is absolutely no excuse for not having enderchests

Turn the bones into bonemeal and make a bone block, then sprint and jump and you might be able to get the elytra thing where it pushes you up an extra block, or possibly use the elytra to crawl through some bedrock and maybe find another way out

I always thought that a bunch of wood logs were a crucial part of everyone’s exploration kit.
I always carry a stack of ladders, you'll be surprised how often you use them.

I carry a stack of logs. Can be broken down into many planks and provides tons of crafting options on the fly

If your trident has riptide, wait until it rains. If not, you might need to bonemeal block, or even risk the end crystal if it won’t work. No matter what you do though, try to keep your shield in one hand and your totem in the other

An inventory without at least two packs of cobblestone and one and a half packs of oak blocks doesn't seem right.
A single stack of wood, water bucket and some ender pearls does the trick for me
I only carry a water bucket with me... It's probably one, if not the most essential thing for the Minecraft survival kit.
I always carry an ender chest filled with shulker boxes of everything i need....
One method of escape is to first use 3 bones to make 9 bonemeal, then crafting that into a boneblock. Next you place torches in most places except where your head is to eventually put a bone block where your head currently is (not yet) [the purpose is to prevent mistakes]. Now elytra jump into the 1x1 hole. The next step is very hard, you need to "head hitter" jump up and place the block at the exact spot mentioned earlier (under your feet). Then you are free. I have created a simulation and successfully achieved this escape.

When you realize end crystals blow you upwards like 10 blocks and he has multiple totems so he could easily use the crystals to get out
when you realise he wanted people to just comment on the video and they fell for it as if he didnt know, HE put the items in the inventory

Considering the totems, you may actually be able to abuse the explosion knockback from the crystals, as long as you take your armor off first

There are several ways out of this. I saw someone mention bone blocks, and trident with riptide. The health bar is normal, so it's not hardcore, suicide is an option. If it's a single player world, open to Lan and get another account in there to help, even better if it's a server

Actually there's an easy way out of this one. Just take off all the armor, hold a totem of undying, and use the knockback of the end crystal to launch yourself out.
You cant place a crystal on the same block as you at least from my experience (im on bedrock)

I recreated this in my own world and it was very easy to escape by blowing up an end crystal in one of the side holes and jumping at the same time. You can survive the explosion in many different ways. Enchanted golden apple, totems, etc. Very easy.

MANY ways you can escape here
1. Wait until it rains and use the riptide trident to boost yourself
2. Turn bones into bonemeal block and spam jump on it with elytra which has a chance of boosting you up one extra block
3. Place and break end crystal while totem(s) equipped to give you an air boost
4. Wait until night for a creeper to spawn on nearby cobblestone. Lure it in and use its explosion to boost you upwards
5. Open server to LAN and have another player come rescue you
6. ITS NOT HARDCORE IN THE VIDEO so just blow up to die, recollect your items afterwards (bring rockets)
7. Use crossbow to give yourself a boost
8. Hope an enderman wanders near, aggro it and get a pearl
9. Use flint and steel to damage boost up
10. Wait for lightning to strike and put you on fire, and damage boost up (like flint and steel)
additionally they can use the crossbow to shoot themself into double jumping after the bone block
7. Get out of the hole and make a water bucket and put it and you got out

Options to scape:
-Waiting for it to rain if the Trident has Riptide
-Using the ender crytals, shield and possibly totems to try and knockback yourself out without dying.
-Turn bones into bone blocks
Chorus fruit.
Waiting for. A creeper to walk in the box and blow him out. Or shoot himself with the bow for knockback
And the bed nearby he propably can reach with hand when night comes

You can escape a 2 block hole with hunger or routes boost out with glitch
If the trident has riptide, you could just wait for it to rain

Just make a bone block and then use the flint and steel to light your self up (while standing on the bone block), and then spam spacebar. (For those who didn’t know, there is a feature where you have a chance to jump 1 block higher while taking damage)
It's not a chance, it's at the apex of the jump. If you're at the apex and take damage it'll boost you up. It will only boost you enough to jump over a fence though.

any Type of Damage provides a Boost, even when standing still, it just goes nowhere. If you're at the highest point of the jump and take a tick of damage at the right time (you can time it) you can jump up that Block. It is an important part of Minecraft Escape Room Maps and could be replicated with either the fire, or the Crossbow.

Always carry an enderchest. Not specifically because of this problem, but it would solve it. Load your enderchest with shucker boxes, each full of resources like fireworks wood or cobblestone, stuff that you would randomly need. Also leave some empty sulker boxes for when you just need some more inventory room
or you could jump out of the hole using the echest as a block
I keep 3 shulker boxes on me: 1 for equipment, 1 for utilities and 1 for storage
just step on the ender chest to get out
... or just have a couple blocks of dirt or something
Carrying an ender chest full of shulker boxes makes your carryable inventory 27 times larger
If your trident has riptide on it you can wait until the next rain so you can fly away
Boost yourself upwards with the end crystals (jump then hit them)
I saw a few things
1) if you are very patient you can wait until it rains (im assuming its a riptide trident)
2) bone to bone meal (15 ) to one bone block and use either fire or your crossbow to dmg yourself for that extra boost.
Flint and steel after the bone block for the jump boost?
I've tested it, and I couldnt get fire nor arrows from above to clear a 2 block jump

You can just place down the End-Crystal and use your Shield to block it while shooting something upwards, hopefully hitting the crystal. This might bounce you back up to safety.

Maybe turning those bones into bone blocks to allow you to grab that cobble that would HOPEFULLY fall just close enough for you to nerd-pole
It's simple: usa a crystal and you will go out because of nockback (you won't die because you have totems)
This is an interesting concept, pretty sure most people have found different solutions. The easiest solution would be Totem + End Crystal. I’ve never really played around with cross bows but most people usually carry around a bow, it’s possible to shoot yourself upwards IF you have a punch 2 bow. If not, pretty sure you can combine fire tick damage and a normal bow to jump out (using the bone block). Also trident could work but… that only depends if you’re in a biome that rains. This problem could easily be avoided if you keep an ender chest on you at all times.
Edit: Also, you could wait for a spider to spawn , make a fishing rod… and break a couple of those cobble stone blocks and try fishing them toward you.
Well i think i am stupid but if he ignite him self on fire the burning animation give himself a little boost and he might can go out but i not sure if it enough

You get blasted pretty hard from an end crystal. And another thing is when you use a totem, you get like 1 heart back. So that means you could probably die from fall damage from the blast that is if your lucky.

I can understand not doing that mid game if you’re still keeping a bucket or a scaffolding pile on you (for construction) but by late game you should probably have a few shulker boxes filled with “spare items” in case of a disaster like this.

Ladders speed up so much, yet nobody uses them.
Cutting down trees is ridiculously fast with ladders.

Unless I'm going back to a cave repeatedly, for me it's not worth the inventory space to bring ladders.

there are many ways, I would say the easiest thing is waiting, either for rain (for trident if the biome allows it) or night, by having skeletons/spiders spawn and come to you and kill them for strings (and make wool) or more bones for enough bonemeal for a second bone block.
Because he has totems of undying, he could also just use the ender crystals and try to blast himself out

After dying, you can still get all your stuff back from the bedrock box, simply by just crafting a ladder and then your done. Even though you would have to sacrifice your EXP, your world is apparently not set on hardcore mode.

So I always personally have what I call the standard essentials kit 1 in my inventory.
One stack of cobblestone (for bridging and etc) one stack of logs (for so many things, craft benches, sticks to combine with coal, ladders, chum tools) one stack of torches or other light source (preemptive lighting is best lighting) one stack of food source (food duh) optionally a stack of arrows(for bow if being used) hotbar has pickaxe, sword, axe and sometimes bow.
This is very useful and can often save your life, but don't feel pressured to use it.
Also I do have like higher standard ones but eventually that devolves into Shuler box madness.

I like how we have several items here that can possibly be used to escape, and we're left here to imagine how.
People say he couldn't have been able to make a bone block since he didn't have a crafting table (he actually had one near to him 0:04). Even then, he just could've kill spiders and make a wool block, you only need 4 strings to make one. You can also use a bed, but he only needed 2 blocks to get out of there.
He's also using that crafting table from the hole, trying to make random stuff to get him out lol
How exactly is he supposed to kill spiders, mobs can't spawn on bedrock, tho alternatively he also could have waited for rain and used his trident, if it has riptide on it

use the bones to make bonemeal for a bone block and use the crossbow to do a "double jump" when the arrow hits yourself

couple of things you could do, if that trident has riptide, you can wait for it to rain, or you could shoot some arrows into the air and have them hit you as you jump and send you out of the hole, you also have totems to keep you from dying from the crossbow shots, you also have totems, so the blast from an end crystal wont kill you
Also flint and steel. Add fire tick damage to keep you up in a jump when an arrow hits you for an extra boost

With your armor you could probably tank an end crystal so equip a totem of undying and place an end crystal below you and then jump, hit it, quickly place another one and die but the totem saves you and with all that damage boost you're probably out of the hole
u can use the bones to craft them into bonemeal then into bone blocks with 9 bonemeal and get out or just use the endcrystal to blow up ur one totem and boom
this is a high skill solution, you need to be pretty good at it:
sometimes if you jump and elytra at the same time multiple times, it gives you a little more height every time you jump. this works in 1 by 1 holes too, but its very difficult. this way, i was able to jump more than 2 blocks out of a hole, and was able to gain unlimited height and speed when traveling
