The airfryer macaroni cheese looks delicious!!
It's best to use silicone to mix. Metal spoons can cause shavings of Teflon metal to flake into the food.

Hi. Thanks for showing this video. The chips look lovely. I am getting my Corsini tomorrow so will try the chips on Friday. With regards to the Macaroni cheese can you not put in the complete time and pull the drawer out to stir a few times instead of having to enter the times again.

    • @KerrieJervis

The fat from the cheese splits if its not stirred. You could always make the cheese sauce first in a pan then just bake it in the air fryer.

My wife loved it and said she can't wait for me to make it again. I have just watched your video mainly to see this model of AF and I found it very good and informative. Well presented and comprehensive. And very suitable for the UK market compared with some US reviews. I live alone and have a smaller AF with a round basket that is barely big enough for me and am planning to buy the 5.5 litre Cosiri to be on the safe side and because it has square baskets which are less restrictive than round. I have not seen this 4.7litre model reviewed and have 2 questions:
    1. With your experience of a large (? 5.5litre Cosori) and this 4.7 litre, have you any pros and cons of the different baskets? The older one has 2 baskets this one only has the outer pan and a loose grid for the inside. The loose grid seems to have the disadvantage of being hot after cooking and seems a bit awkward to lift out, but will be easier to clean. I would be interested in your overall experience.
A similar post some months ago seems to remain unanswered.
    potential
I did not know how to use QR before watching your video but now I do - thank you.
I WOULD ESPECIALLY WELCOME COMMENTS FROM OTHER USERS FOR THEIR VIEWS TO ENABLE ME TO MAKE THE CHOICE BETWEEN THE OLDER 5.5 LIT (5,8 quart) AND THIS 4.7lit VERSION.
So far my choice is between either Cosori model or an alternative make that also is wifi enabled.
I have subscribed to Kerrie's videos and will look for previous ones.

Thanks for the review Kerrie.. I am debating if I'm buying a traditional Tefal deep fat fryer, or an airfrier.. my main goal is to just cook chips like the ones from the chip shop without going to buy them from the chippy each time.. May I ask your objective opinion on this.. I know you said in this video the chips you made taste really good, but do they really stand up to the taste of traditional chips cooked in a deep fat fryer in your opinion? Thanks a lot! 😊 Be lucky! 🍀

Good Morning, Kerrie from California! 😘…you helped start my day with your lovely voice and enthusiasm!! I am also in the process of deciding which Cosori to buy…this size is better for my size kitchen and for a single person but the big difference is the trivet vrs the double basket…I’ve watched so many videos (I binge watched for three days 🫣) and the main complaint with regards to the trivet is the difficulty in getting a piping hot one out from the air fryer easily in order to pull everything out trivet and all!! Such silly decisions…again thank you!! As a person whose been to the UK four or five times, you remind with your lovely accent and lovely personality of good times!!🥰

    • @KerrieJervis

Ahhh, thank you for your kind comments Gail 😊 I think this model is perfect for a single person. It was actually a tiny bit too small for our family of four sometimes, but would be ideal for maybe some breaded chicken and fries r roasted potatoes for one. The trivet actually get easier to get in and out the more you use it. It doesn't get loose just not as tight anymore. I use silicone tipped tongs to remove mine if it's hot.
Don't forget it's Prime day next week so you might get some good deals! 😊

They've updated the app and for some reason this fryer is no longer listed, nor can you access the recipes unless you can add the fryer to the app, so no joy with the app for owners of this model like me.

Your not supposed to use a metal utensil on that coating on air fryer or air fryer pots!

Can it cook a whole chicken in there?

    • @KerrieJervis
      @KerrieJervis  2 ปีที่แล้ว

You definitely can. This is a smaller sized airfryer so it'd have to be a little one but the larger models fit regular chickens 😊

This was my second air fryer th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . The last one worked fine but was large and a bit loud. This one is outstanding. It is smaller overall but still has plenty of capacity. It crisps the food better. You don't get one side soggy if you forget to turn it over. It is pretty quiet, easy to use, easy to clean, and works great. It chimes to alert you to functions, like when to turn over food that benefits from that. The automatic pre-heat is great. The display is large and easy to read, the light inside is actually useful. The window is worth the extra $10. It looks good sitting out on my counter. I haven't been this happy with an appliance for a long time. Good value for money.
