I also got the best results with crinkly chips, but they are still not perfect. The air fryer tends to overcook the ends of the chips, so that they end up browner than the middle part. I'm going to try reducing the temperature to 190. Another idea I had was to use a much lower temperature for 5 minutes, say 160, then whack up the heat for the remaining cooking time.
Great! Couple of questions: What made you decide on that Ninja model as opposed to the round Ninja Foodie range? And have you experimented with frozen chips from McCain's or similar?
Hi just started using an Air Fryer (Tower duel Air Fryer) love cooking chips in it. Why is it that some of the chips are cooked perfect and some are still raw? Can you help?
I seen a women at the pool bar on holiday using one of them crinkle cutters and thought it was amazing 🤣 ordered one straight away off eBay for a couple of quid.
It has got to be more expensive using the main oven, which is a much larger space to heat up. However, I have a separate mini oven for heating pies and this would be far more economical for oven chips. The one thing that surprised me most about my new Ninja air fryer was how much quicker it was to cook a portion of chips from freshly cut Maris Piper potatoes. 5 minutes to preheat the air fryer and around 12 minutes to cook.
Have you tried celeriac chips? Apparently if you coat them in corn starch first they get more crispy. Wouldn’t be as sweet as carrot so maybe a good alternative for you!
Becky thank you 😊I have just made the classics straight cut in the ninja dual Delicious - never buying frozen again 😊Joy
I love the background music so calming
Love your channel becky. Keep up with the good and original content
Thank you for making this video simple to understand! Those chips look awesome! 🍟😋👍🏻
I think the crinkle cut ones look the best.
A lot of thanks Betty...from France 👍👍👍😘
do you not rinse the extra starch out of the chips

I have that Ninja and it makes amazing steaks.
This makes me so hungry! Looks delish.
Do u need to add any water to the air fryer before cooking them?

Just bought one I want to do steak and chips but what is the best way chips half cook then steak then finish chips while steak rests any advice people
For that, a dual basket air fryer would be the best option.
Nice
Parboil too
Looks amazing 😉

Hi! do you think an air fryer is worth is? or should i stick with cooking my " chips" in my regular oven? Thank You!

That air frying is amazing the chips look so tasty they look like they've been in oil fried. How much did it cost u the air fryer?
Thank you - they taste as good as they look!! It was £195, but it's a grill and air fryer so it's a little pricier! x
Currently £199 in the UK
It does not seem like you can ge tthat many chips in it...
Dream girl
Who’s Mark...
oh this makes me really sad :( i can't eat potatoes anymore. I loved fries and now i can only eat carrot fries. But this is a great video

Love your nails 😍
Don't see the point in crinkly chips. The first ones look best
You wash chips first
I love potato chips but they are tedious
my daughter says nice nails
I lost interest when mark was mentioned
🤣🤣
Don't give the time it takes to cook darling
