Denise, I think you are wonderful for sharing your journey and I enjoy watching your videos. As a cosmetologist of over 40 years and wig shop owner of over a decade, there is one thing I wanted to point out to your followers. Don't "pull" the hair when you cut it. It is so easy to put too much tension on the hair fiber and end up with it springing back much shorter than you planned. Like I tell my clients, I will always start off too long because you can't put it back. Thanks again for all you do.
I so agree, so much easier! I trimmed two of my Calientes shorter and the waves do make it easier. I think I may eventually trim up my Belle Tress Alexandria. The wig you have on is really beautiful and the color is lovely with your eyes. I don't wear human hair, but I'd love one just like that in synthetic, that exact amount of curl. Alexandria is really close to it and fits my head like a glove. I've used razor cutters to trim wigs as well, works great. ~Cynthia
I cut bangs in my Gabor’s Trend Alert. The fibers are so stiff on that unit that the short hairs stick out horizontally now. LOL it’s nearly ruined but I just tuck and use product to try and camouflage my disaster. It taught me to be more careful and to go way longer to start. While it was a disappointment, I went on to customize other wigs and I’m glad I did. Thanks for the tutorials. They always give me courage:)
Thank you so much, Denise. You are not only such a help with your own techniques, but you are truly such an amazing woman & inspiration !!! God bless you so much, beautiful Denise !!! 💖💖
I'm so happy you showed us this. My own bio hair is so similar to this wig just longer. Also my wigs are curly too. I think I would be very comfortable doing this so I'm going to purchase the blade. 💗
Denise! Danniety changed my Wig Journey. This is a whole different feel. It is such a better choice than the new expesive synthetics. Thank You for bringing so many affordable options and support to us! You are a Blessing in my Life❤
Omg I’m looking for my first wig and just came across this and this looks so much like my hair. I think it would be perfect for me! I was hoping to start with something less expensive or where I could at least return it now I’m a little torn.
Prettiest hair! I loved it the first time I saw you wearing it! I'm hoping to own one one day! Kirsten outdid herself with Danity! Suits you so well, Denise! You did a great job of layering it! ♥️
What a beautiful wig! Such a beautiful color on you! I LOVE the color! I want that color! I could never tell you enough how much I appreciate your willingness to share your journey and such invaluable information and tips. I am 60 years old. I began my hair loss journey about 13 years ago. My daughter,33, started hers about 3 years ago. The awareness of hair loss and alternative hair has come a long way over the last decade because of women like you! I have ruined so many toppers over the years! My daughter and I have joked about having a mother daughter channel on what not to do to your topper or wig! I will say I have improved somewhat! You are fantastic at doing what you do! God bless you! Sisters in Christ ! 🙌🩷 Judy
Hi Denise, you look just fabulous in this wig. Looks totally real and like your own, although I must admit, I have never seen a Phillipino woman with natural curly hair. I spent some time there as a service wife.
Sure! I do have one video with a straight wig, this one shows how to cut in face framing layers: th-cam.com/video/C5KxTk-GbfE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gim8OSJ1W1fNJza7
Omg I Love this wig and color on you!! I know in the past u have said u are a curly girl at heart And i see why I hope to check this seller in the future Thanku!
Sometimes you have to help the curls out during the drying process. Here is a quick video I did showing this but I will do a more in depth video: th-cam.com/video/1_aW6JrrnxQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SMpDxGrtUDJ2gynx NOTE: I do link another video in the description of this one that is from another TH-camr and that is where I learned it from!
Hi Denise, thank you so very much for what you are doing to minister to those of us who are all in the learning process of wig wearing at varying stages of it! I’m trying to make the leap into wearing a wig but feel very vulnerable. The wig you are wearing is exactly what I am looking for! If I had never seen you before I would never ever know this was a wig on you. You are beautiful with or without the wig and everything I have seen you wear looks so nice! My question is can bangs be cut into the wig, colour added in subtle streaks and is the wig adjustable and or runs large or small? Thank you! 😊
Now I guess I have to get this, it is beautiful. I love the pic. In your intro where your scrunching your nose I think you have a blue top on and a little gold necklace You look so cute.
Hi there! Thanks for every video. So much teaching and learning. I do have a question I'm in search for a low density no permatease 14-16 inch wig waves heat friendly style. Color is also hard I've been watching your videos but, haven't been able to find the right brown shade I'm a 5 base with some to little highlights. If you have any suggestions, I thank you!
Hi Denise, I have a coupe of questions, I have always worn synthetics and am afraid to take the plunge on a human hair, do you wear them the same? Do you only use a hair grip to keep it in place after trimming the lace? Do you remove the combs? What size are you wearing? I love your content! God bless you so very much for all you do for all of us!
Hi! I DO wear them the same! Sometimes it depends on the lace front, though... some human hair wigs come with a lace frontal which is a 13" lace front, that is a bit trickier than the lace fronts on the synthetic wigs we are used to (although a lot of budget friendly come with that type of lace front). I made a video on this and need to get it edited so I can upload it. Once I cut the lace on those back at the sides then all I have to do is wear a wig grip! I'll work on that and get it out. HUGS!
It is called Danity from In Vogue Medical Wigs. Here is a link and the code wigsister10 saves 10%: invoguemedicalwigsbeyond.com/collections/all-wigs/products/danity-bob-6x6-closure-lace-wig
This looks great, including the lace front. It's final sale, so it's a NO for me. I'm embarrassed to admit how much $$$ I've lost trying to buy a wig. I wear my hair off my face and so many units are beautiful but the lace fronts are horrendous, especially wigs for white women. There is more emphasis on the color of fibers than the actual cap and lace front. Had this unit been returnable, just in case, I would have jumped on it.
That is a really smart decision based on your needs and experience. Because this is a budget unit that lace isn't the most transparent for sure. For some, like me, I am willing to work with it to get a deal, but for others that itself is a deal breaker and they would rather pay more and get exactly what they are looking for with the lace and the cap. I will be doing an updated video on this piece now that I've had it for awhile (and I have a few other colors to sow) and that is one of the things I will stress. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

That’s a gorgeous wig, looks natural on you!
Thank you!!

You can add heat to the Trend Alert and get those fibers to lie down. Stay around 280 with a round iron and be careful not burn your fingers.
@@RedPoppyWigsKC Thanks. I did a cold press by using a big clip to flatten it against the lace front and that helped a lot:)
Thank you so much, Denise. You are not only such a help with your own techniques, but you are truly such an amazing woman & inspiration !!!
God bless you so much, beautiful Denise !!! 💖💖
Oh my goodness…such a beautiful head of hair! If I could have my hair look like any style, it would be this one!!!
What if you’re not on Facebook what do you do to get a human hair wig like yours. Danity is beautiful.
That wig is beautiful. I could see the profile change with ever lock of hair you trimmed. You definitely created a custom look. Loved it.

Beautiful! I just ordered the trimmer
Hi Denise, I very like your nails . Can you please share how is it called? Is it gel, acrylic, or something else?

This reminds me so much of my hair before I shaved it off. If you sale this one please let me know first :) .
I ❤ that wig!
I brought one of the trimmers but now I need to change the blade, I have no idea how to do it. Can you tell me how to change blades?
You just push it up from the bottom and it should just slide right out... I'll try to remember to show how in a future video.

This looks just like my bio hair..omg...im in love..omg I bet it's expensive
This one is what I would consider budget friendly compared to a lot of human hair wigs. Not as cheap as synthetics, but close to the higher end ones!
Could you just give us newbies to human hair some basics. How long can you keep it on? Can you sleep in it? What is the best way to adhere them
This looks like your real hair! Thought yours had grew out! It’s beautiful on you?
Thank you, I totally agree!
What wig are you wearing in this video

Woops I noticed my email address is wrong! How can I fix it in here?
How you lost weight I’m trying to lose but nothing is working I’m turning 50 this December . I would appreciate if you make video pls
She has; she went Keto. Look thru her videos to find it.
❤
Denise I'm so sick of spending money on synthetics and just having to replace them every three or four
I know, that is the real challenge!
