They aren't tell you what to watch or not, but if you decide to watch remember they say the show isn't good, mostly if you are a Star Wars fan. The show is bad even if you not a fan, but if you are a fan is just worse.

I don't think either of them has ever said "Don't watch this" but Drinker has said "I've watched this so you don't have to".
They both give good reasons behind their opinions whether for or against watching something.
I certainly agree that we cannot be bullied into making our viewing selections.

I just enjoy the Critical Drinker for the sheer listening pleasure of his reviews.

Instead of watching crappy shows, force the celebrity reviewers to suffer through watching them, then watch their reviews.
Disney is dependent on hate watching and die hard fans (who will watch anything with Jedi and light sabers) at this point. If they lose these two groups of watchers, the numbers for this show are almost zero. I just don’t see the real fans of this show and I have heard of no new fans.

I watched the first two Disney Star Wars movies and wondered why I felt completely un-entertained.
I went looking for answers and discovered Critical Drinker, Nerdrotic, RK Outpost and Midnight's Edge.
If this is true Disney should be embarrassed that their credibility can not stand up to scrutiny.

I don't get why they can't grasp that simple concept.
They need to go back to cheaper technologies until they can find some quality creative teams. If they waste a handful of dollars on an animated series is one thing, but these big bet movies/series are quite another. They have lost all creatives and need to start a search to find new ones. This Wokeness is blocking any real creativity so that has to go.
The thing I loved about The Clones Wars (TV Series) is how many strong female characters there were (Jedi, politicians, or even the antagonists, etc.). Disney really fumbled the bag when it came to “diversity”.

In KOTOR II literally the overwhelming majority of the major characters are ("were" 😭) canonically female: Meetra Surik, Atris, Kreia/Darth Traya, Visas Marr, and that story was beloved. Pretty sure all the lore around Mace Windu and Vaapad isn't part of the Disney "canon", which throws out the window a super complex and morally nuanced set of stories around a popular Black character. Both KOTOR II and the Mace Windu stories show the nuance between the Light Side and Dark Side in a far more sophisticated way than "Anakin blew up the Death Star. It's disingenuous for Disney to fall back on sexism or racism after what they did to the EU, especially when many of the properties they threw out treated gender and race in more compelling ways than what we're getting now.

@sd7335 Honesty I think that is just standard at this point for shows, most shows taper off during the 3rd season and then usually pick back up in the 4th. I just watched the 1st couple episodes of season 4 and so far it's been good IMO

I’m a Star Wars fan since I can remember. New Hope broke my brain as a kid and I was hooked. I’m 42 now. I’ve read every book written before 2008, read every comic series, played every game. I have watched every series and film. Acolyte…. Is terrible in so many ways I CANT watch it. It makes me miserable that my favourite thing has come to this. I’m not even angry…. I’m ambivalent now… I think I’ve finally decided to leave Star Wars behind me it’s done for me. It’s a joke.
Drinker isn't even the most critical of the critics. They'll never "ban" everyone and I'm sure anyone who is banned will just become more influential due to such an attack.
