I just bought the Marc Drogin book and spilt a whole bottle of ink over it. I didn’t know until the morning so it glued all the pages together! I’ve unstuck them but for a new book it looks like it’s come out of a dungeon☠️I love the channel btw. I also ordered the illuminated manuscripts 😊

Thank you so much for all this great information about medieval calligraphy books. It helped me figure out what books would help me to get started. I also ordered a book called Celtic Hand Stroke by Stroke: Irish Half-Uncial from The Book of Kells , by Arthur Baker. It looked so interesting. I really love the look of the uncial styles. I am so excited to start learning:)

I LOVE the medieval bestiary. The Getty did a whole exhibit about it with shows and photo backdrops! They even made a plush based on a beast (25 percent off their online store on Black Friday). It was a dream come true. If I ever cosplay or play DND I plan to name my character Caladri after the Caladrius. I'm also looking forward to the game Inkulinati. Maybe they can sponsor you
