My library had 'The Golden Secrets of Lettering' and it's so good!! Thank you for the recommendation I've learnt a lot already just from the first few chapters.
Hey Ian, I already have a very good knowledge of typography with my graphic design background, what would be the best book for me to get to start learning how to hand letter. I will of course be watching your tutorial videos too :)
I should of mentioned that this collection was more about general lettering books rather than a specific calligraphy style like brush script. Will probably feature that in my Top 5 books on Calligraphy.
I have an old edition of the Speedball Textbook at home. I had the original before my mom, uh, confiscated it from me, had it copied, and handed me the copy. Can't blame her because the book was hers to begin with...

You should do a book about how to do lettering on the iPad. But, thanks for the very informative video.
if you cant do lettering on paper the traditional way you wont be able to do lettering on the ipad. Its the same thing, different application.
