Andy james you are absolutely incredibly insane, I’ve been listening to your stuff now for a year straight no other artist, ever since i discovered you, your music rocks in every aspect.
I've been playing guitar for around 57 years now (since I inherited my older brother's Fender Jaguar back in 1963). I'm a huge fan of players like John Petrucci and Guthrie Govan and the like. However, after just now discovering Andy James, I've got to say that his style of playing where he combines soul penetrating minor scale melodies with frenetic bursts of some of the most appealing note choices I've ever heard, is precisely what I wish I could have been introduced to when I first started playing. Today's kids who are just starting out learning how to play guitar are incredibly lucky to have such inspiring sources to guide them. _______

Have you guys heard of AJs Insane Workouts (I would say Etudes on Stereo-Roids)? The tracks/tabs/ backing tracks for Minor Mayhem: Arpeggios, Picking, Tapping and Pentatonics are absolutely insane. I just dusted off the files a minute ago, and felt I had to share the amazement and inspiration with fellow enthusiasts!! Cheers!

His instrumentals dont sound like wanking. They're complete songs. They have so much emotion and power. He mixes melody with shredding better than almost anyone. Loving it dude! Keep it up!

I must say then, after a killer 2nd solo at 1:21 from start to finish, that bridge to the the last solo, tells you its game over to all opposition, and impresses into the listener's experience the triumphant foretelling of an absolutely vicious TKO, and in ferocious fasion at last the arsenal is unleashed in the form of a flawless and beyond expert 3rd solo. This material is in the groove the whole way through - we love the dedicated product of absolute determination!
Ok. Obviously, every part of this composition is technically spectacularly and musically gorgeous, but I am absolutely obsessed with this guy's bends. There's something about them that's beyond flawless. I've never had this kind of obsession with a guitarist's bends before. I'm shook.
