Volcanic Offering 100% should have counted for the entirety of Jeremey's role. He may not have declared the targets but he controls the spell and he dictates who gets to control who declares the target. You do it in a way to ensure you blow up 2 lands and 2 creatures when able.

Copies allow you to select your target(s) as if you're casting the spell to prevent the copy from being redundant. Spells that have an opponent target still have the opponent target when the spell resolves. You don't control your opponent only the spell. Have you ever played a council's dilemma spell? Copying the spell doesn't give you all the votes. If the card says your opponent makes a choice/pick the target, they make the choice/pick the target. You only get to select new targets for your picks.

What I stated is still correct as when you copy the spell YOU get to pick all the new targets

You are absolutely wrong. 300.1. The card types are artifact, conspiracy, creature, enchantment, instant, land, phenomenon, plane, planeswalker, scheme, sorcery, TRIBAL, and vanguard. Tribal is a type, not a supertype, as legendary or basic. For example, tribal card in graveyard boosts Tarmogoyf's stats with additional +1/+1. However, John's hidden role is covered by different rule: 110.4. There are five permanent types: artifact, creature, enchantment, land, and planeswalker. Instant and sorcery cards can’t enter the battlefield and thus can’t be permanents. Some tribal cards can enter the battlefield and some can’t, depending on their other card types. So, although tribal is card type, it is not considered "permanent type" in vacuum, so it is not needed for John's role.
If kalamax copied comet storm wouldn't it have copied the whole thing kicker included. So he could have targeted each of them with a comet storm for 31, copy it and the copy would target each of them for 31? I have to misunderstanding or missing something.
They were really trying to disguise their roles this time and frankly I think using a god makes a lot of sense as it gives you one of the harder to get legendary types without being too obvious. He's lucky he got it early because I think if Jeremey was willing to be more aggressive with his land destruction spells, he'd not have kept a legendary land in play.

Jeremy needed to announce his targets with the first one, then copy. Jon could have 100% targeted the same lands as the first spell and nullify part of Jeremy's plan

Jeremy Noel should of gotten two extra turns off of nexus of fate: the copy from kalamax and the copy from twin cast.
The original Nexus of Fate was countered before twincast resolved, so twincast fizzled as it had no legal target

All planeswalkers have been errata'd to be Legendary. So he had all the required Legendary permanent types
