- Hey hey! Today we're sharing Episode 2 of our Boys Bedroom Makeover Series... this week is Liam's bedroom! He is 8... almost 9, and he wanted a Gamer / Minecraft & Pokemon Bedroom Makeover... and as usual, it was all done on a budget!! We also added a custom DIY wood accent wall & created a super functional & chill bedroom for him with all his favorite things. And I love that he can change out some decor & it will easily grow with him throughout the years! Everything we used in todays room makeover is linked below (as well as the giveaway info)... I would have to say Liam's room is my favorite so far. Love the accent wall with the wood ledge look. My daughter loves Pokémon and Roblox. She also animates and is a gamer so alot of the things you put in his room are giving me ideas for her room.
Honestly I like both bedroom makeovers. They fit each of your boys perfectly. I can't wait to see Noah's bedroom makeover.

There is nothing better than seeing the kiddos reactions to their room makeover. They love their parents so much and appreciate all the work that goes into each makeover.
The best part is how excited Liam got when he finally got to see the room. I can't wait to see Noah's room.

So hard to choose which one I like best. I think this half-painted wall with the wood shelf put Liam’s room over the top. Everything just came together so well.

I am totally in love with this makeover. I love how you found a new way to express his love of games. The difference in his old room and his new room is night and day. I kept wondering how you were going to top the old house boys rooms but I tell you you come thru every time. Best part is seeing how much he loves and appreciates everything you guys did for him. I agree about the navy color growing with them. We painted a navy accent wall in my youngest nursery but then a few months back my boys swapped rooms and we kept the navy accent wall and it worked in our oldest decor also. I love their rooms! Great job guys, y’all never fail to amaze me

I loved the Nancy Drew adventures too . I can’t figure out how the cubed light works. It’s amazing. Years ago when I was little we were on holiday and there was a shop that had a window full of lava lamps light up at night . We had never seen one before . It was mesmerising.

The accent wall is stunning! I can’t believe how different the room looks when you didn’t do over the top changes. My son is 14 and he was in love with this room, he walked by and said he wants that Tetris/block light 😂… the boys writing on the chalkboard was so freaking sweet. I loved seeing the lava lamp!! I had one growing up and it was my favorite part of my whole room! The fact that this room was changed so much under a budget is crazy!! But in a good way obviously lol! The board of all those sweet messages is something I loved very much too!!🥺💗
