This room is gorgeous. The photos almost made me teary. What a confidence booster to have such beautiful photos of your kids up on their walls. As a mom, I understand the "shoulds" and "would likes" when it comes to your kids. But I bet your 3 year old thinks its cool to have such a unique bed, and he gets to sleep extra close to big brother. I'm sure it's a win in his book - and a win in mom's. Thanks for sharing your makeovers. You have beautiful style and it's so inspiring!
Watching you paint the trim right next to the brand new very expensive bedding was nerve wrecking. I love how it's not also filled to the brim with toys. It's a place for rest.
Happy Thursday y'all! Hope you enjoy the "grand reveal" of the boys shared room makeover! I still have more I'd like to do - but the boys love it and so do I!
I am pretty sure the crown molding trick is to cut it upside down and backwards. My father was a master carpenter and that is how he would cut it one and done. The room looks great. The boys pictures are awesome. Thank for sharing.
The color scheme is fantastic and the pictures of your boys are gorgeous! Love all of it, and thank you for showing the honest side of DIY - the process ain't always pretty but the end result is usually worth it!
Wow for a steady hand when you were painting that moulding - over your newly cleaned floor and the boys new bedding! I'd have drips of paint everywhere!
Watching this for the second time! You are the neatest painter I've ever seen. No drop cloths no taping and good clothes. Love the room. You aren't afraid to tackle anything
Oh my gosh those portraits are so beautiful. I would absolutely LOVE if you made a little tutorial on that process. My son's room could use one of those.
You definitely have the knack. I know it's a lot of trial and error plus hard work, but all your makeovers are absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤
I homeschool my two boys -- one of whom has non-speaking autism -- and I was having a rough morning. I was feeling physically ill (maybe the flu coming on) and mentally/spiritually discouraged. I turned this two-part video on to distract my mind from pain until my Advil kicked in and this just energized me and made me tear up. Sometimes I feel very oppressed, health-wise, as my husband and I struggle to keep up with our boys and I marvel at the energy you and Christopher have. However, the way you present these projects is always so real -- and, because of that, I feel energized. Like it's possible to aim high again. That I just need to get started. Thank you, thank you for the boost of energy and inspiration. Sincerely. I don't know if my Advil kicked in toward the end of the video, but I feel so hopeful. All your videos make me feel hopeful. I'm sure it's a lot to continue making these, and keeping up with all of your other responsibilities, but just know that these videos are a huge ministry to so many. I appreciate your honesty as it is extremely rare on the internet -- and you combine the honesty with an overall positive attitude, which is even rarer. I don't think I can think of another TH-camr that blends the realness and the encouragement in quite the way you do. This is a very long note just to say that your work and videos are so appreciated, Angela.
I love the red dresser against the green wall! I have a dresser I painted red years ago and thought about repainting it. I am planning to paint the lower half of the wall in a very similar green and now I think I'll leave the dresser red. 🙌 Thanks for the inspo! 😁
It looks so good! What a great idea to do the trundle- I know it’s hard with a bigger family to make your space work for you when you are still in transition to what you want down the road. The prints are awesome! I’d love to see it when the lights are up. Love the vintage feel of this space!
looks great! I was skeptical about the green paint...but it looks like it works! I love the pics of the boys! such joy and delight on their faces! Isn't it a process when we are wanting to grow our spaces! always an experience as well! all is well! It will be different again in a few years! but for now, it is perfect! thanks for sharing! we have done our share of "growing" our kids rooms! so you are in good company! xoxo
YES! The bathroom electrocution!! 😫 That was not good! We all learned our lesson thru you! Thank you for taking one for the team!🤣 Boys' room is #goals 💯
I love the bedroom! Well done. Also, I just have to say, I love that your sons all ended up being black. I know you don’t care, you didn’t plan it that way and would love them no matter what colour skin they have. But I just sort of love that God brought them all together to go through life together. I love this nest you’ve gathered. Thanks for letting us watch.
I am SO impressed that you know how to handle that power drill so well!! You go girl!!! I’m useless with the drill. There would be no way that I could hang blinds. So you are awesome!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I installed the exact same moulding in my family room! It was a lot of work but I like the results. The completed room looks so beautiful, love the contrasting green and red!
I absolutely love everything! The photo style is beautiful, it is so hard to get kids to look at the camera and be picture perfect! So I love this style. Love the green walls! I would love to get my kids beddies but it always comes out to so much I can never check out. But they looks great!
Great job, Angie and thank you for showing that you also struggle sometimes, cause honestly some days I think you must be a superhero in disguise 😃 I have my own small projects and it's so refreshing to know I'm not a failure just because it didn't turn out perfect.
Beddys are the best. I managed to score two on sale, the lowest I've ever seen them and then one was damaged in a corner and when I told them about it they sent me a brand new one free of charge and told me to donate the damaged one. I kept it obviously. They're the only bedding I will use for bunk beds.
I love the color scheme, even with the dresser(it was the pop of color for the room and went with the guitar). I love the decorations, there's no mistaking whose room it is. Excellent work mom and dad.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤❤ The photos are so cute. Thanks for sharing.
The room is beau! You certainly have inspired me to get to work on my own son’s bedroom. He is 18 and needs a bedroom redo pronto! Thank you so much for sharing your remodel. I know it was a lot of hard work but it turned out amazing!!! You and your husband do superb work!!🤩👍🤩👍
The room looks great and the floor in that room is beautiful. I love light color furniture and floors because dusts doesn't show as bad but knotted pine is so pretty. You did a great job in this room and I think you're very gifted. I don't know if you've been told lately but you're a very pretty woman.
Angie you are a natural at designing and putting it all together that simply turns out so very pretty! I love the colors you do and how all your projects turn out! ❤️
Yaaay, it is early evening here in Europe, my kids are already asleep, I am standing in kitchen waiting for water to boil (sterilizing pucifiers, flasks) I poured myself a glass of wine and while waiting I am watching your vid. This year we will be renovating first floor, all bedrooms, bathroom, new stairway... and I really like your tips and purchases:) you are like pinterest to me 😁 I like this deep grass green colour on the walls
The room turned out gorgeous! I love your transparency that you aren’t a “perfect influencer”… I bought my son that same beddy’s set. It’s so pretty and it hold up really well, it’s an investment for sure!
It’s so cute! I love the boys photos. What a handsome lot. And I actually love the color of the dresser as it is, it really picks up the red in the airplane. And I love that it’s not cookie cutter and filled with cartoon characters. And I have to say the Minkys, although pricey like you mentioned are worth every penny. I have two that I saved up for in my livingroom, over the ends of my couches, just for cuddling up to watch a movie and they are the softest blankets. They hold up to repeated washings like iron. And come out of the dryer like brand new. Wait for a sale, save your money and invest in them. Totally worth it. And I don’t have beddies, I do remember when their family was involved in a plane crash and I prayed a lot of prayers for them. The dad in particular had some very serious injuries. But if I had kids, or bunk beds, I’d get them for sure!
I absolutely love it! P.S- Do not feel bad about the trundle bed. My sister had an extremely small room. My mom chose a trundle bed so her friends would have a place to sleep when they came over. I remember wishing I could sleep on the trundle bed ALL the time. I was 6 or 7 for reference.
I love the red dresser! Distressing it to look more vintage would be cool. I have seen where people paint their ceiling the same color as the walls and it makes the room look SO much taller. For some reason the contrast in color cuts off the height, so maybe in the future you can try painting the ceiling green. I think wall sconces by their frames would be SO cute esp in a deep green room. Love it so much and it gave me so much inspo for my sons room!!
Well done...that was a hard job, tricky with the crown moulding/beds/space all being silly and playing you up, but you sorted that, (after giving it all a well deserved "Mommas Glare" i bet), looks really smart. The dresser and guitar are similar colours and are a nice mix with the green. Very professional looking finished project.
I’m glad to hear your honest review of the Beddy’s bedding. We’re going to move our kids out of their toddler beds this summer into bunk beds and I REALLY want to get the Beddy’s but the price was really holding me back. Mostly because I like to have two sets of sheets so there can be one in the wash and one on the bed (also kids are messy!) so it’s twice the price, really. But if the kids will be using them for a long time, I guess the investment for my sanity (not having to make their beds every morning while they’re really little) is worth it.
Love the green on the walls. Trim looks great. I like the burnt red dresser it is a nice contrast. Do you put chairs and such on their balconies? You are the hardest and most talented person I know. I MISS LOTTIE! LOVED WHEN SHE USED TO POP HER HEAD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA!!
Wow!!! What a difference Angie. I’m loving the colour of the shiplap (shiplap is not really a design feature used much in Australia ☹️)the beds and bedding just work beautifully, the whole room is gorgeous 🥰 xx
It looks wonderful! We have multiple kids sharing rooms and I love your ideas here. I would also love to see your tutorial for the prints. They look fantastic!
Angie, this is reminisce of the days when I was a single Mom 😂. I had many of those “ Oh it will be fine moments when reality it was a mess😂. I love the wall color and the red dresser is so cool, the photos made me cry. I am so glad you were able to add them to the boys room.❤️❤️❤️❤️.
I love their room - it's wonderful! Angela, do you have a link for the table lamp on their dresser. I really like it and would like one for my nightstand.
That turned out so great! Love the bedding, so wish I could've found something like that when my boys were little. Have you ever mentioned which little dude plays the guitar?
The red dresser looks great as is. It adds a great pop of a complementary color.
I was just going to comment this too!
Yes it ties the prints together and creates cohesiveness
I agree…..the contrasting colour is beautiful
Exactly!
I totally agree, I was going to say the same thing but you beat me to it!! ☺️
This room is gorgeous. The photos almost made me teary. What a confidence booster to have such beautiful photos of your kids up on their walls. It has some pop up errors right at the start after the first photo of the original room.
Thank you! You're right, totally worth it!
I love the room make over! I think the red dresser adds a great pop of color and fits in nicely.
The pictures of the boys 🥰 so precious!! Made me tear up🥲

The red dresser is perfect in their room! Such a great pop of color!

Beautiful may God continue to bless and keep you. You are such a blessing.

The room looks great! I wouldn't change the dresser. It looks wonderful! Great job!

BEAUTIFULLY DONE! Love the classic little man feel of the room! You did a wonderful job 🪵🪑🛏🦌

I love the pictures of the boys on the walls and even more so that you gave a cheap way to do it :) I’ll definitely do that with my babies too !
It turned out so good! I love their dresser...it ties the picture together with the room!
Angie, your decor taste is impeccable!! I love it 💚So classy and clean.

Happiness is Angie when I wake up ❤
I love all your makeovers, very classy! The boys room is so nice, love the color, love the artwork! The blinds look good too.
Angie you are a natural at designing and putting it all together that simply turns out so very pretty! I love the colors you do and how all your projects turn out! ❤️
The room turned out SUPER COOL! The ceiling fan change was a good 👍🏻
Brave to paint trim next to expensive new bedding, I agree easier before it’s installed. Loving the green.
It cracks me up that you are all dolled up while painting. Bracelets, cute clothes. I look like a HoBO when I do stuff like that😅😂
So nice!! Well done you. Bet the boys are so happy with them. Love the colours and those bed covers, wish they had them in the uk. X
I actually like the contrast from the red dresser, but I’m sure whatever you end up doing with it it’ll look great
Yaaay, it is early evening here in Europe, my kids are already asleep, I am standing in kitchen waiting for water to boil (sterilizing pucifiers, flasks) I poured myself a glass of wine and while waiting I am watching your vid. The photos are INCREDIBLE!! Photographer Angie coming in clutch!
That shade of green looks so nice with the crisp white trim, and I really how wide the trim is around the windows. The room really looks great !!
It really was very beautiful! fantastic! the photos of the boys 😍
Keep the red dresser! It ties those prints so well together! It’s stunning!
The room turned out gorgeous! I love your transparency that you aren’t a “perfect influencer”… I bought my son that same beddy’s set. It’s so pretty and it hold up really well, it’s an investment for sure!
Looks great! Love that green. It’s dreamy. Their pics is my fav thing. 😉
Looks great! Love the green you chose. Also the dresser on camera looks so good with the color in the photo above it and the guitar on the wall. 😊
This may be my favorite make over, next to your hubby's closet. Awesome work!!
It’s so cute! I love the boys photos. What a handsome lot. And I actually love the color of the dresser as it is, it really picks up the red in the airplane. The bedroom looks amazing.
The room is awsome & those prints!!!
Looks awesome, great solution using a trundle bed👍🏼 it’s definitely better then the three beds before 👍🏼❤️😉🇨🇦
I think so too!
@@angela.braniff Maybe you could have gotten another set of bunk beds and a mattress underneath for Benji since you have a mattress under a bed anyway
I wish you had more bedrooms...room looks fabulous!
I love it. The colors , the vibe. Great boys room.
You did a great job. I like the dresser just us it is. As a different pop of color. And I am an interior designer for whatever that's worth. LOL
That is amazing! Im totally inspired to do my boys room!

Wow it came out soo good I love!
i love it! would you consider cutting off the "slats" part of the bed at the footboard?.. it would open up the room some.
I loved this. ❤❤❤❤
Great compromise
Yes please share the tutorial about the pictures. Looks awesome!
Looks great , Angela.

Gorgeous!!! Please do a tutorial on the pics of the boys 😊
Like I said before I love all the dark tones
I love their room - it's wonderful! Angela, do you have a link for the table lamp on their dresser. I really like it and would like one for my nightstand.

That turned out so great! Love the bedding, so wish I could've found something like that when my boys were little. Have you ever mentioned which little dude plays the guitar?
Love part 1 & 2 I see too many video on utube that can be in 2 parts thanks for that.
Lovely room makeover. I would love to see how you did the framed photos.
