if youre using oils, you can bled the color within about 48 hours of application, meaning it'll look like its dry, and blend like its dry, but it'll still be pretty malleable

I love your method of chipping. May I ask what brand and where you bought your brushes?
I think in this video I was using a "The Army Painter" Insane detail or psycho brush, and I bought them off eBay
