  • Intel announced Wednesday a $20 billion investment to build two new semiconductor fabrication facilities at its Ocotillo Campus in Chandler.

    I love that Arizona is the leader in tech, microchips, solar, etc... We are killing it!!! Chandler in particular is a great place to work and live!!!

    In addition to this, TSMC is also going to build potentially over time up to a 35 Billion dollar mega factory in north Phoenix ... and Samsung has the Phoenix area on its list for a 17 Billion dollar plant ... wow, just wow

      Intel builds 2 new fabs in phoenix while TSMC builds 6 new fabs in phoenix.

    Chip manufacturing sounds really fun. You basically use a complicated and precise system of lasers to carve tiny machines on chunks of metal. What's not to like about that?

    Until you watch Cold Fusion's segment on Intel, you'd realise AMD, and TSMC have always worked hard to achieve their strongholds unlike Intel.

    Don't get to excited Arizona is a right to work state no job security I worked desk where one door they hired while laying off people from same jobs they had been there to long or made to much money
