A year later they only could get 12 workers. Their pay was below half silimair jobs 15 bucks an hour vs 32 bucks an hour. They were looking for ten's of thousands of workers.
@@zacharyfarias2463 the fifteen an hour it was being advertising by them. And it was on a video of 30 minutes and the people were talking about the taxes and how this failed because if you go to Cali or las Vegas that 15 dollar job will get you 32 bucks and if you take a job training course why would you take the bad paying job.
@@yunleung2631 yup its right next to cali where that job is in very much in demand it has a 2 year job training/college degree and they got 700-800 online application for the jobs but only 12 showed up
if your fat or out of shape understand the shifts are 12hrs and there are NO CHAIRS in the fab area you will be working in... so if your OK with standing for 12hrs each and every day..then you should be OK... there is a reason you won't see many older workers in a Fab
@@NitroDubzzz I have been in Fabs all around the world... the only chairs I have ever seen was at the supervisers desk... fab workers depending on wafter size do different tasks... very few in 300mm fabs as the foups are too heavy for people to carry around.... in smaller wafer fabs most workers are just moving/loading the wafers.... NO CHAIRS... a chair creates particles
