The “javelin throw” is a reference to a mic stand incident he had in concert a few years ago (everything in this video, lyrically and visually, has historic significance). He threw a mic stand into the crowd during a hype part in his song and got “in trouble” via the press and social media (suggesting he could’ve hurt someone… he didn’t). So in this music video he threw a mic stand and impaled the zombie, which is mocking the bad press he got for the incident back in the day.
I don't think he should be vilified for it, but he did hurt two people when he threw the mic stand. He paid both of their medical bills. He made a mistake, but did what he could to make amends to the people he hurt.
I discovered Falling in Reverse with this song 12-22 my life has literally changed because of this band,me being through so many things Ronnie s Voice pulled me out.
I fully understand how this music is not a person's first go to. I get it. But if a person can listen to this, not move their head or foot in some way, and then say that it is trash...your soul is dead. Just look at this mans reaction. He was not doing it to be mean he was just hyped up and tossed it, so he had to deal with a lot of backlash. He settled out of court with the girl and family and people still do not allow him to get past it.
