Hopefully we'll get a "Guess The Wrestler" segment one of these days. Brian Last- He's in AEW, part of a faction, can't talk, is a horrible worker... Cornette- Okay... Brian Last- And he doesn't wrestle with his hands in his pockets. Cornette- Oh come on now! That could be anyone Brian!
@@josephstewart6836there are still reasonable republicans left. Rhino might be one of them. And the only people throwing a tantrum are MAGA cultists. How desperate must a person be to worship a criminal, fascist sexual abuser and new York elitist like tiny dick Don.
@@josephstewart6836that’s where Jim acts like a baby and disowns people he’s been friends with for 30 years just because they have a different political opinion.
I always enjoy Jims backstories to fueds, cards, the road is always a highlight to me ... Brian always chooses some great cards with significant wrestling history of the time ... 👍
(I think it was this paper) the Philadelphia Inquirer Monday morning edition had the results of saturday's Philadelphia Civic Center NWA wrestling results
Michael Hayes was in Florida at this time on christmas night teaming with Scott Mchgee in a s8c man vs Jim Neidhart Norvell Austin, he stayed in florida in 85 but did shows for World Class, Mid-South, Mid Atlantic, until going to the AWA for the rest of 85 and some memphis shows until returning to World Class in Dec 85.
Im curious on actual weight size of Martin "the blimp" Levy. Wikipedia says he was billed at 640lb. Thats bigger than Haystack Calhoun or Andre. What was his actual weight.
There's an odd mixed message in booking the same guy as a rip off French Angel and a rip off Buddy Rogers. Clearly confidence in him but at the same time lack of confidence him to just have his own gimmick. I'm surprised between his knockoff gimmicks, "theater wrestling" and tanking of two territories I'm surprised Jack Pfefer was only threatened twice

Excellent! Jim is at his apex mountain when recalling details of old events.
On tna bound for glory tonight the first person Rhyno thanked after his family was Jim Cornette. Pretty cool to hear!
Nice!
Which is too bad cause if Jim knew rhyno was a republican he'd have a tantrum

I can't believe the answer to all of them was "Wrestlemaina III." Shocking really.
My favorite segment on the show. Always great.

This should be the whole podcast
When Jim and Brian stop watching Raw, Smackdown, and Dynamite.
@@danw2112I would be so happy if that ever happened. I bet Jim would be, as well.
i was ironically watching these yesterday so imagine my surprise!!
Jim remembers more details about a 1940s wrestling card than I do about my family. 😂

Thanks, guys. I just got out of work, and I have to drive to The City to get my kids from my mother in law. New program clip smacks.
27:00 One of Buddy's great talents was working with Superheavyweights. He always got great matches out of the Haystack Calhoun and the like.
Like Crash Holly? 😂
Sorry but there's no way Brian knows any of these old wrestlers from the 1700s
i LOVE that the first one atually had Jimmy on the show lol
Actually beat Corny on the first one, and he was in the show! (Dallas 1984)
Ha ! Me too.....the shiek on the fla 81 program is believe was the iron shiek..not the original shiek.
Boy, Howdy! Wouldn't you know who won the pony?
stick to this
Meltzer is a prick but he does no his history so it'd pay to see Jim vs Uncle Dave
Is mayonnaise an instrument
To Will Levis it might be

First?
Idk why just saw it uploaded felt compelled lol
here's your award 🖕
Who cares,lol
Nobody gives a fuck.
😱
Trash.
I can understand Jim sounding like a confused and doddering old man (considering he IS one), but what's going on wih Brian that he sounds so lost?
