Guess he should have checked the suitcase before packing it at home. How do you not see it?
Notice the pattern - usual suspects!
Turks and Caicos used to just fine Americans for this. It must've happened so much that they changed the penalty to jail time. Maybe this case will teach Americans they can't do whatever they want wherever they go. -An American
It will certainly get Turks and Caicos a travel advisory and fewer tourist dollars. which they might need to fight the drug gangs that are murdering people all over the island recently.
Why would it get a travel advisory or ban for someone's ignorance . Just because you think you have privilege doesn't mean you can disregard other countries' laws .
Im guessing the GoFundMe will come next , folks always expecting others to pay for their stupidity.
Exactly 😂
@@MamacitaOf2 FFS!!! 😤🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ They need to LEARN by facing consequences…..these ppl have too much money!

Darwin Awarded. There’s no excuse for people being this ignorant and disrespectful to other countries.
a ziplock bag of ammunition, come on man
Hefty, Hefty, Hefty
How does one use the same bag for travel and hunting?
How do you wear the same shoes when going to the grocery store or the movies?
@@JohnDoe-pk2hs Because it's common sense?
@@timmartin7664wooosh that went right over your head
@@444onthefloor Not really. lol
@@JohnDoe-pk2hs I'd have to disagree, pretty lame comparison, just saying.
How does anyone "accidentally bring ammunition" on a flight? I mean, he mentioned "what a bonehead move"... well... yeah. There are consequences for such mistakes. Especially when the people who goof up... are wealthy, entitled, etc. ;)
HE SAID - that he had the ammunition in his bags from a previous trip where he had gone hunting - and he hadn't thought to take it out for the next trip.
Both guys said that. They didn't have guns with them - just ammunition in their bags from a previous hunting trip.
.
@@BobSmith-dk8nwit's odd and highly suspect that TSA didn't pick those ammunition during security screening here in the states. Do they let that slide with no questions asked? 👀
@BobSmith-dk8nw
No excuse. You are responsible for both your luggage when traveling and knowledge of the laws of the country you are visiting. If you can't be responsible and respectful, stay your stupid butt at home.
@@BobSmith-dk8nw Still against the law.
@@BobSmith-dk8nw So he packed his bags with his eyes closed? Or did he pack it with never actually touching the bag to place items in it? I leave jive in my suitcases from previous trips but I know it's there. I saw it when I packed. I felt it when I moved things around to place other things in it.
So how did the TSA fail to catch this when they were leaving the country?
Cause it wasn't there 🥴 lol
It's amazing how other countries take guns and ammo so seriously! American gun culture is truly sick.
Law and order.
Got to be extra careful about what you take in other countries. Some of them ‘execute’ harsher punishments.
I am 100% sure each time I board a flight my bags are clear of anything illegal or not authorized to be in my bag. How do I know, because I am an adult man who is responsible. I would never make a careless stupid decision like this. This man’s life and his family’s life could be ruined because of a dumb decision he made. The real world has consequences. This ain’t Oklahoma where you can talk your way out of it.
This is why other countries tell America that gun ownership needs to be a privilege not a right. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this and the response is always “my bad that’s a bag I use for hunting”. Then be responsible. When you get home from your hunting trip, all your ammo should be accounted for and placed in a your gun safe. All these people with kids just leaving backpacks with bullets around the house. Ya’ll are crazy.
The whole trip he didn't notice bullets in their bag? They packed their bags, and it's their responsibility to read the laws of the country they will visit, and make sure they are compliant of those laws.
Don’t go to Turks and Caicos Islands. People who want their dream vacay but want to do whatever they want. You packed your bag, you should’ve known. Too bad, so sad.
This sort of threatened penalty is not the sort of thing one would expect from the British Government.
You should be able to go to Turks and Cacos in perfect safety as it is the property of America's supposed number one ally the United Kingdom. The British clearly need to get their colony under control.
I bet this same couple laughs at melanated Americans being profiled everyday in America. 😂
Just like that girl who brought a weed pen to some european country It's your own fault when you go to somebody else's country and don't do your research. The sentence is excessive , but the problem could easily be prevented with a little research which they failed You don't accidentally bring weapons places

Keep them there!
Haha
😂 seriously check your bags that includes ammo and guns 😂
People really, traveling with ammunition? It's like Americans going to Russia with marijuana gummies 🥴🥴🥴use that 🧠 brain. Respect other countries laws
Bullets, how stupid. You ruin your life over owning a gun and ammo. No reason to own a gun.
The kids are at home with the gun wondering where dad hid the ammo.
😢 these poor US tourists and their bullets 😢
So this is the return trip home, he had these bullets so they didn't catch him in the US and they also didn't catch him when he landed in Turks. Okay, so something doesn't add up.
Likely one of his friend return his bullets to his carry-on without him knowing. Either that or he did know and thought he would get away with it.
What is it with the Americans constantly "forgetting" that they left guns and ammo in their suitcases. People like this probably shouldn't have guns.
On surface level, this seems as a simple mistake.
However, scrutinize the details of how bullets stayed in a carry-on (yes, carry-on) bag packed in the U.S., carried through a U.S. airport, boarded a flight from the U.S., remained in there through the entire vacation, and finally only discovered during security checks at the T&C airport on return is tough to not be a serious head-scratched.
