    What if these were paid actors and actress. All the accusations on China were based on 2 to 3 personal tales that no one could verify. I could pay 100 dollars to fabricate a fake accusation on UK. Yes, we have seen white helmets in Syria, WMD in Iraqi ... etc. This guy claimed that he is a poet is actually an actor as well. I read his work before and he lied. I also wonder how these people who claimed they were detained in camps could leave China so easily, I though they were closely monitored by the Chinese police as well. It just doesn’t make sense.

    Can someone explain to me how the Uyghur Genocide is happening whilst the facts and observable figures do not seem to stack up.
    1. Since the modern China era in the 1940s, the Uyghur population has grown from under 3 million to currently 12.8 million. In addition, the life expectancy of Uyghurs has increased from 30 to 72 years during the same period.
    2. China has only transferred some radicalized Uyghurs to internment camps for re-education. When they return to society, their living conditions improve as the newly acquired skills help them get better jobs. Most importantly, they are not seen as a threat to the community and hence they are welcome back. Such conditions are reflected by economic data. Xinjiang’s economy has kept on growing - @ 7.2 % annual rate between 2014-2019; its GDP was valued at 1.36 trillion RMB in 2019 and grew 3.4% to 1.38 trillion RMB in 2020, despite the pandemic. From 2010 to 2019, Xinjiang's GDP per capita more than doubled from RMB 25k to RMB 52k.
    3. All Uyghurs can speak their native language (Atlaic). China allows Uyghurs to learn Mandarin as a second language for use in the work environment without forcing them to give up their own language.
    4. China’s policies clearly favor the Uyghurs in education, employment, and accommodation. As a minority group, they even receive financial subsidies from local governments. Perhaps the most discriminatory treatment was birth control. Han Chinese, the ethnic majority, was allowed 1 child but Uyghurs could have 2 or 3, depending on whether they lived in urban or rural areas. The said unfair birth control policy was only harmonized in recent years. China has gone further in preserving Xinjiang’s cultures and heritage. For instance, Xinjiang Muqam (songs, dance, folk music) was inscribed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in UNESCO through years of effort by China. More surprisingly, banknotes in China are printed with languages of minorities alongside with Chinese. Likewise, street names and building signages in Xinjiang are in Atlaic as well as Chinese languages.
    Honestly ask yourself this question: is this genocide narrative of the Uyghur something you really want to believe? And then ask these questions: what happened to indigenous American natives during the European Settlement in North America? What’s happened to them since then? Has the USA Government honoured any treaties signed with the First Nations? Can the American indigenous people speak any native languages? What happened to indigenous children when they were taken from their parents and forced to remain in boarding schools? Has USA done anything to preserve and promote the cultures and heritages of indigenous people? Why the US banknotes are in English only? Why is it that the living conditions of the American natives are always associated with a host of issues like poverty, drug abuse, domestic violence, gun violence, alcohol addiction, missing persons, health, land disputes, and life expectancy?
    If one makes a comparison of what's happened to the Uyghurs and what's happened to the American natives, which of these better meets the United Nations' definition of genocide? Sure, anyone with conscience will give you a honest answer.

    • @MrTaxiRob
      @MrTaxiRob 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why don't you look again at the definition of "genocide?" You don't need to actually kill anyone to be guilty of it.

    • @VL-inquisitor
      @VL-inquisitor 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Perhaps you should listen to the speech by M Bachelet (UN High Commissioner for Human Rights) after her visit in China. Unlike politicians, media anchors, think tank researchers and even scholars on the subject of "Uyghurs", Ms Bachalet visited Xinjiang in person, had meetings with key stakeholders in China at her own choice, explored various areas of human rights developments and conditions with her own eyes and ears. She didn't talk about ANY genocide, forced labor, human rights abuse or anything to the like in her public speech about Xinjiang and China. Indeed, she even praised China's fight against poverty, human rights, economic and social developments, etc.
      If anything, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights is the most qualified person to address human rights conditions in China. If she still says no genocide in Xinjiang, who else can be in a better position to do so?

      @@MrTaxiRob I think the OP did cover all the aspects that would constitute genocide. They talked about how Uyghur culture is thriving, the region's economic prosperity as well as its growing population.
      According to the UN, genocide includes:-
      1. A mental element: the "intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such"; and
      2. A physical element, which includes the following five acts, enumerated exhaustively:
      Killing members of the group;
      Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
      Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
      Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
      Forcibly transferring child
      Furthermore, to constitute genocide, there must be a proven intent on the part of perpetrators to physically destroy a national, ethnical, racial or religious group. _Cultural destruction does not suffice, nor does an intention to simply disperse a group._
      Importantly, the victims of genocide are deliberately targeted - not randomly - because of their real or perceived membership of one of the four groups protected under the Convention _(which excludes political groups,_ for example). [China is claiming its only rounding up religious extremists. That could constitute a political group.] This means that _the target of destruction must be the group, as such, and not its members as individuals._
      .......
      I want to stress the last point because people are wont to jump to the conclusion that if the victim is Uyghur, it must be because of their race.

    I want to hear more details: about how to be able to leave China.
    As you can see in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (East Turkistan), if a native person needs to get a passport ( exception is that students who attend Chinese universities outside of the region can change residency registration to the place of universities in the first semester and then can get new ID, new Residency Registration which are not of the Xinjiang Region, can apply for passport), it's very difficult.
    As in my case, I had consulted about this, and there needed to be a ton of paperwork prerequisites like from 20 government apparatuses for one example is that a document from " planned family policy office (the two Child policy) must be stamped certifying the applicant has abided the policy. And all these things, all these bureaus/offices needed the applicant to have a guarantor/sponsor to be able to get all these papers stamped. In my case it was impossible.
    Then in 2014, around 350 people of Uyghur families smuggled into forests of Thailand through land, caught by Thai authorities, among them were children and women, the group was seeking refuge in Turkey, and China immediately labeled them as terrorists which Turkey disputed and wanted all of them to be able to come to Turkey. At the end the Children and women were sent to Turkey as Thai authorities declared they were Turkish citizens, and deporded the adult makes declaring they were Chinese nationals.
    Around this time, the policy about passport issuing had been loosen, and even the local government in Xinjiang made a quota for peasants to get passports ( most of Uyghur peasants were poor and would not be able to travel to another country, but soon all of them have been persecuted for having these passports.
    At that time (2015) I was considering to apply for passport but my parents were disapproving this idea. I had asked three of my brothers about this new policy of passport application, because I live outside of the region in Proper China. And one brother told me that it's possible to get passport, the other brother told me that it's possible to get passport but the government would deny re-entering to China. And third brother who was a teacher in a remote town/village told me the government would issue a passport for the next world (death). So I concluded that there's not real change about an Uyghur applying for a passport, so abandoned the idea of getting a passport.
    All three of my brothers were the government people (who gets salary so they were under constant indoctrination, so classified as "safe"), but the one who told me it's okay to apply for passport is in one of concentration camps, because he was in charge of a township's political and religious affairs, and after Islam is banned totally, all those Imams/Mullahs who were under government control and pay check had became terrorists, so my brother like many other Uyghurs who had held the same positions throughout the region, has been labeled as a criminal who covered up for the terrorists.
    My brother is an innocent man and I am proud of him. He being put in concentration camps is a price our family has to pay, because all Uyghur families are persecuted the same way. This is a sign that our family is not a sellout,.
    And we are Turk people, native to the region, the rightful owners of the land and our ancestors were Caucasian Race Tokharian people and Mongolian Race Turk Tribes including Qarluqs/Karluks, Yaghmas, and old Uyghurs, we are not a new nation emerging from Soviet creation of new Uyghur designation. Two times Chinese incursion into our region does not justify there claims that East Turkistan is not East Turkistan and it belongs to China since ancient history, that we are immigrant Uyghurs who rule the Mongolian Steppe during 740-840, so that Chinese were in this region before the Uyghurs" If you do genetic testing, in Khotan 60% of the gene pool is Caucasian or West Asian and 40% is East Asian or Mongoloids, and if you do in the East Most Part which is quite close to the Steppe , Qumul/Kumul, Turpan etc the gene pools is predominantly Mongoloids, the point is that our region has been an ancient civilization at the crossroad of East and West, mixture of nomadic Mongoloids and Sedentary city dwelling Tokharian (indo-european language) Caucasian people, we have our roots in both world and not a sudden new immigrant in an empty land as depicted by the Chinese defamation against our rights.
    I hope the settlers will meet their ends soon for their unspokable crimes.

      @@teardrop-in-a-fishbowl Yes, we have been through this kind of hardship, and things getting worse year by year. I probably never apply for a passport, because China is quite a big place and if I go out all my family may be in trouble. If only I could get all of my family out, which is quite impossible.
      But I have been away from home for almost five years, fearing that if I visit the region I would be under very harsh scrutiny and it may be very easy for the local government to pick a fault from me to put me in one of those concentration camps. My family argues that it's safe for me and if the government were to take on me, it doesn't matter where I live as long as I am living in China, police would get me already. But this is their opinion only. The local police will call me every time I travel to another city, I have to report where I went for what reason etc, and other government offices also call me because they have to do a lot of spreadsheets and archives on every body. This thing and intimidation is quite intense, and I expect this won't ease any time soon.

      Also wat about the rest of muslim minorities in China, nothing is happening to them? If not then this should be framed as something more complex. Remember this stuff is quite weaponized. Of course, the US doesnt have to lie to weaponize the situation and destabilize China. Internal colonialism against minorities and foreign intervention through members of minorities in a geopolitically strategic region for the silk route are not mutually exclusive hypothesis. Both happen. The important thing is not to stop talking about this, but to not weaponize it in the context of a new cold war against China. ¿How? Well by oposing all US sanctions and the escalation of US China tensions around this issue and by stating the hipocrisy of the US govt when worrying about muslims. Also by differenciating genuine attempts to understand the issue from anti China and anti communist propaganda, mainly by checking the sources, more often than not comming from NGOs funded by american politicans, the department of state, the memorial for victims of communism, religious groups and other hawkish institutions. Finally one must take seriously the contradictions between some testimonies and take to account foreign and internal pressures shaping those testimonies. One must care about the people, and for that one must opose them being used by foreign and internal powers, but mainly by foreign powers which escalate tensions and worsen minorities relationship towards the internal powers. Also, if you are western, your primary duty is against your hawkish govt. Democracy Now interviewed a year ago retired US army colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, who confessed the CIA's strong involvement in the situation in Xinjiang. Lets remember the times when questioning the existance of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was seen as madness. In the end it was not madness, and those acusations costed many more lives and suffering than the one occuring under Sadam Hussein. I hope nothing like that happens in this case. We must remember that the covering of this situation is biased, asides of being or not true, it is biased in the sense that cases of ethnocide and human rights violations are overexposed by western media when they feature China or any eastern power, but they are underexposed or completely unreported when they feature an ally nation. Here in latin america we have had many similar processes of state racism, eugenesics, ethnocide and internal colonialism in the process of constructing a bleached, integrated and mestizo nation state, we even had sterilization in hospitals of indigenous woman who went there to give birth. However this was never covered by western media hecause it was not in its strategic interests. What we have to understand is that behind the good will of covering this very real issues, you have a trojan horse filled with the military industrial complex and a bunch of hawkish sinophobes.

    But wat about the rest of muslim minorities in China, nothing is happening to them? If not then this should be framed as something more complex. Remember this stuff is quite weaponized. Of course, the US doesnt have to lie to weaponize the situation and destabilize China. Internal colonialism against minorities and foreign intervention through members of minorities in a geopolitically strategic region for the silk route are not mutually exclusive hypothesis. Both happen. The important thing is not to not talk and denounce this, but to not weaponize it in the context of a new cold war against China. Here in latin america we have had many similar processes of state racism, eugenesics, ethnocide and internal colonialism in the process of constructing a bleached, integrated and mestizo nation state, we even had sterilization in hospitals of indigenousbwoman who went there to give birth. However this was never covered by western media hecause it was not in its strategic interests. What we have to understand is that behind the good will of covering this very real issues, you have a trojan horse filled with the military industrial complex and a bunch of hawkish sinophobes.

Imagine if brittain did that to america 100 years ago. Instead america believes in a free market unless it doesnt benefit them. Instead of teaming up, they would rather demonise china and russia. When america betrays and spies on other countries, its called surveillance. When another country does it, its spying. The hypocrisy that is america. Always a double standard.
      You cant imagine america competing for chinese business as no american wants to work for peanuts. But an asian will and will put half those peanuts away to save. Americans demand big dollars per hour and yet have nothing left to put aside. Thats the difference. Just as an asian in America is willing to do low demeaning jobs like picking up cans and cleaning or whatever. An american will feel entitled and would never do such jobs. Yet no matter how little they make will always live within their means where as an american will always try to maintain the lifestyle they want to live even if it drains every cent.

      @@nestser You are trolling that if "democracy now" covers China's segragated orphanages for Uyghur kids , that will reveal the woman in BBC report was lying? Brilliant logic.
      What the 50 cent army members of foreign and Chinese origin talks about Uyghurs making up a propaganda against China reminds me of another settlers state: Israel.
      Both Israel and China are settlers states. If you don't know the fact that China Proper itself got independence in 1912 from the Manchurians of Qing Dynasty, and when they found out that the the Manchurians were highly assimilated into Chinese society and the power of Manchurians all a sudden disappeared, and all the dominions of the old empire were weak and fragile, the newly found Chinese government put a claim on all the regions outside of the Proper China, but they have to wait 40 years to actually arrive with their forces to regions like Tibet and East Turkistan, during which Northern Mongolia established an independent state with the support of Soviet Union to whom the new regime of Chinese Communist Party was indebted and would go along with what has happened. China proper it self was an expansionists settlers project from ancient history which started from the Mid and Low Yellow River Outreach just near the Great Wall of China.
      So both the settlers states China and Israel accuse the victims of false propaganda, while China keeps the natives captive so that the words and people can't move freely, and the Israel and Jews have monopoly on Western Media but they blame that the the apartheid state and ultranationalist "State only for Jews" law is made up by Palestinian propaganda machine.
      China can keep they people captive, they control the flow of information, and export their system to other backward countries as an viable functioning alternative as opposed to let people have equal rights so that the society progress in a beneficial way. So if they can keep all the massacres secret for decades, why not set up a concentration camps and abuse, torture, extort?
      China has been massacring since its " peaceful liberation" of East Turkistan, the leadership of East Turkistan was force to go to Beijing because the patron of East Turkistan Republic was Soviet Union, and they helped China massacre all these people, and installed new communist Uyghur puppets to welcome " peaceful liberation" of East Turkistan from it's rightful owners, the Turk people. Ever since, dissents appeared non-stop, crushed and massacred non-stop, Chinese settlers got in non-stop.
      Just like what has happened in Hong Kong, the rights of native Turks chipped away little by little. Turk soldiers as an separate army has fought India in Aksaichin alongside the settlers army units until later they were dispersed in the settlers army, as an example how the Turks lost their power and rights one by one.
      The concentration camps are only a little bit fast track to the total subjugation of our people by the greedy fascist China and it's nothing new. They have been preparing this for a long time. And profiling people, making archives about the thoughts of people by interviewing/interrogating kids about their parents and relatives about who does pray etc, forcing neighbors and families to spy on each other and provide tips for government to round up people on "thought crimes".
      What is thought crimes? Because if somebody violated a law or commit a crime they could be in prison for certain period. But the settler state round up people and force them to confess: "I was on the edge of committing a crime, if it was not for the help of the Party and the Government, I would have done something very very terrible. Thank you Chinese Communist Party and the Government to pull me back to the right path." Is this made up by me? No, it's released by the Chinese settlers Government as a justification for their functioning concentration camps. But the 50 cent army would even deny the existence of such camps and argue in contradiction with Official Party Line saying " no, these buildings are not camps but factory facilities, it is built this way in China (by Barrets). Oh , no, no, it's a school, people are voluntarily attending and the barbed wire fence is used to prevent people from entering to the facilities (Global Times). Oh no, no, these are prisons for these terrorists, you know Islam is not bad, but about 10% of these Muslims are Wahabiists/Salafiist and they may be potential terrorists so China is doing the right thing, and assigning the right quota ( by Kim Iverson)."
      You see these trolls, they are paid by the Chinese government and at the same time they are flocked by many Chinese nationalists on TH-cam and make youtube to pay them more. But these trolls are heartless scammers only care about money, but they're constantly attacking the corrupt Western establishment of war crimes and human rights violation which is true, but they do the opposite when China is concerned. Maybe this is their career.

      @@abuhammad LOL I admire the way you can distort histories, troll.
      1. Calling Uyghurs as 'native Turks' is a blatant lie and insult to one's intelligence. Uyghurs themselves are descedants of mixed ethnicity. Do you call Brazillian as Spanish or Portuguese? If their languages are really so close, why Turkish and Uyghurs can't understand each other without training?
      2. Archaeological findings like the Niya ruins proved Chinese presence back in Han Dynasty. And Uyghurs who traditionally lived in Turpan basin did not settle in Northern Xinjiang until Qing Dynasty. In this case who is the settler?
      3. Shall I remind you that Buddism used to thrive in central Asia regions including Xinjiang? What happened and lead to their extinction? Isn't the Muslim religion expansionist itself, through brutal killings in history? What is Kafir, since you already mentioned thought crimes? Christianity has transformed and we know there won't be Crusades anymore. Yet the Muslim has not made significant progress in modernizing itself. Until Mulisms like you can reflect on what's wrong and work together to remove Wahhabism, you do not have any moral high ground to criticize PRC government efforts for stability and growth.
      I am not a fan of all the practices in dealing with extremism in Xinjiang, but at the same time I witnesses too many fake videos spread by the overseas Uyghurs which do nothing other than incite hatred among people. Some of the overseas Uyghurs are just pathetic puppets of Turkey and don't have a real plan for Xinjiang's future.

    • @abuhammad
      @abuhammad 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nestser NiHao Chinese troll,
      Let me solve your fake narratives one by one:
      1. Uyghurs as we call it today is mixed ethnicity, it's itself the proof that we are the native people, and the Chinese colonizers has nothing to with how we come out as a mixed race.
      People in Tarim basin which is the southern half of East Turkistan has been oasis city states since ancient times and its most ancient residents were Caucasian/White race spoke various Indo-european languages such as Tokharian, Bactrian etc. At the same time, the northern half of East Turkistan is party of the Steppe which strech in the heartland of Euro-asia continet including present day Mongolia, Southern Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, parts Gansu Qinghai provinces of China, and Kazakhstan, other central Asian countries and parts of Siberia, the population of which is nomadic people, and their ethnic and racial makeup had been very fluid, and the trend was that early Caucasian Race Indo-european language speaking nomads replaced by people of nomadic empires rose up one after another from central Steppe in Orkhun Valley. So the was always been demographic shift, and the nomads could easily squeeze out one another, but the Sedentary Cities in Tarim basin including Turpan and Qumul have been melting pot of civilization and people. That's how the northern part of East Turkistan has been called Dzungaria and the basin there's called Dzungar basin because the rising Mongols has absorbed the land from previous Turkic nomads and up until 1755 the population there was Dzungar confederation of Mongol tribes including the predominant Oirat tribe (and the region was called Moghulistan by Turk Muslims around the region). As being the last nomadic empire the Dzungar Confederation competed with Manchurian Qing Empire and got wiped out by failures in war and succeeding genocide by the Qing Empire.
      So East Turkistan has been both nomadic and sedentrary oasis (agriculture, craftsmanship, trading) civilization from Ancient times until this day and modern day "Uyghurs" are the inheriter of these people and culture.
      2. From the first point where your colleagues in 50 cent trolling army may portrait modern day Uyghurs as a migrant people from the Steppe, especially Mongolia.
      If you look for archaeological discoveries, you can find artifacts from Ancient Rome because East Turkistan was the only road between East and West.
      East Turkistan has been part of any surrounding empires including Kushan Empire who ruled northern India, Afghanistan and central Asian countries around Bactria and Western part of East Turkistan including Kashgar, Khotan, Kuchar etc, has been ruled by Hun/Xiongnu Empire during 209-60 CE, Chinese Han Empire had been present in East Turkistan during 60BC and 8CE, and Xiongnu/Hun Han/Chinese rivalry for dominance in region has continued until 150 CE. East Turkistan has been part of many other empires such as Serbi/Xianbei Empire, Rouruan Empire, KökTürk Empire, Uyghur Khanate, Kara-Khanid Khanate, Mongol Empire, Chaghatai Khanate, Yarkent Khanate, Dzungar Khanate and finally Manchurian Khanate. Twice Chinese excursion into the region less then 200 years combined, Kara-Khanid Khanate of local Turk rulers alone lasted for 372 years in their rule of East Turkistan.
      In the about Turpan did not have Uyghur inhabitants, please google it first before speaking non sense. In 840, after the Uyghur Khanate collapsed the ruling Uyghur tribes had migrated into south and found two different kingdoms, one is in Dunhuang, another is in Turpan called Idiqut/Qochu kingdom lasted for more than for centuries until annexed by Chinggis Khan of Mongol empire. The people in Turpan is more Mongoloids in their racial makeup than what's found in Kashgaria as Uyghurs in Turpan is more so relevant to the Uyghur Khanate from Central Steppe while the Kashgaria Turks are more relevant to Qarluq/Karluks and are more Caucasian by race makeup. Maybe you are talking about Ili region where the nomadic ruling Dzungar Confederation has been wiped out by Manchurian Qing Empire as a result of long lasting wars and succeeding genocide of the Mongols. So after the genocide the northern part of East Turkistan was almost empty so Qing Empire forced sedentrary oasis people from the south to relocate and do some agricultural production while other nomads such as the Kazakhs also came into fill in the vacuum all the way to present day western Mongolia, Qinghai, Gansu provinces of China.
      3. Just like you and your colleagues in self employed 50 cent army of communist trolls, you first portrait Uyghurs of ethnic cleansing and genocide of the earliest Caucasian Race Indo-european languages speaking people such as Saka and Tokharian, then you also accuse of Uyghurs killing buddhist people such as Saka and Tokharian people by holy war. This is just like accusing Romans of ethnic cleansing of Truscans for their different ethnicity and killing the pagans in the name of Jesus.
      If you still remember, Kara-Khanid Khanate Khans first converted to Islam at the beginning of tenth century, and people were adopting Islam region by region, up until under the Mongol rule and Chaghatai Khanate Islam became wide spread, until it has been completed in the beginning of Yarkent Khanate. So are you implying that we Uyghurs waged holy war against the grand sons of Genghis Khan who ruled East Turkistan and later adopted Islam? Or the Muslim Mongols were saying holy war against buddhist Mongols?
      And you are a troll, your plans for East Turkistan is the plans of China, which is total ethnic cleansing, so that the China can settle its claim on the territories forever. And Turkey and Pakistan are all indebted to Chinese loans and they are complicit in the persecution of Uyghur refugees there. As if all these accusations against China are all setup, and Erdogan is behind it. You are shamelessly making up things to whitewash crime.

    So it's now the House of Congress Members. I didn't realize that the House of Representatives had changed their name. Every time Amy refers to a Representative -- their official title -- from the House of Representatives, she refers to them as "Congress Member" rather than their official title which is Representative. Oddly, Senators who are also congress members -- because the Senate *is* part of Congress -- are not referred to as "Congress Member Feinstein" (for example). No, it's just the House. We certainly do have a FU system where they can't even get their official titles correct. So that's it: It's now House of Congress Members.

      we used to up until 2 generations ago, until telecommunication and transport tech evolved to the point US corporations gave American workers the middle finger and outsourced abroad for profits they could never have had here. US economy today is essentially financial capital floating around markets, not much manufacturing at all, certainly not compared to other major economies. We'd need a restructuring of the whole capitalist system of which job allocation is only the first layer of issues to be rethinked. Laws regulating worker participation and management of the enterprises would also warrant manufacturers don't fly away overnight leaving ghost towns and legions of unemployed and addicts in their wake.

    In a real life police interrogation and questioning , they watch the persons body actions and behaviour. In this interview with the lady named Tursunay Ziyawudun you can see her behaviour is giving away her story as fake lies and fabrication. Fake crying, eye contact, the constant action of gasping for air, wiping away tears which are hardly any, blowing and wiping of her dryish nose etc are signs to have the listener fall and sympathise her story and show empathy and compassion. A lie detector
    In BuzzNews which interviewed her on different occasions previously, her story seems to have changed each time especially since leaving Kazahkstan for the U.S. She left China freely to Kazahstan on her own passport.
    Anyone fleeing their country and seeking asylum would of course lie and fabricate their stories or say anything terrible to justify an asylum. In this case the BBC and U.S did not do their job properly to verify and investigate her claims and story , and have taken her story as true. This is irresponsible reporting by BBC and granting of asylum by the U.S
    If there was ever a genocide in Xinjiang , the whole world would know as you cant stop 12.5 million Uyghurs fleeing to the neighbouring eight borders. The truth is every good law abiding majority of Uyghurs are happy and contented with the CCP which looks after them well. Look at the billions of dollars spent in Xinjiang to bring it up to world class standard, international airport, trains, highways, bridges, schools, hospitals etc, it is breathtaking. If the CCP is intent on genocide against the Uyghurs they would hav left it to rot.
    The other Uyghurs who may have been suspected of supporting/sympathising with terror groups eg religious Jihad,Islamic terrorist, East Turkestan separatist independence activist groups, East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM or TIP) , are rounded up and they will be sent for de-radicalisation or re-education courses. On completion of theses courses a number of these Uyghurs do flee to seek asylum in other countries. Of course they cannot admit their past undesirable connections.
