Yes! I just returned the Dyson for the Shark before stumbling upon this video. The Dyson was clunky, awkward, and didn't have good suction. I'm hoping I can give another positive comment when I receive the Shark. *thumbs up
After owning that Dyson for 2 years I can confirm the complaints are accurate. It is horrible on medium to thick carpets and it isn't particularly great on wood floors either. I would not buy it again. Looking forward to trying out a Shark.
For me, I haven’t used by Dyson Ball Animal Pro+, a Costco Dyson Upright exclusive, but I know it will be great for my house because I have more than 70% of hard-floors 😂
Bro dyson is the best sharks are bloody useless trash i don't like sharks don't recommend em they're just a waste of money dysons are however expensive but are better than sharks i don't hate sharks they're just not my favorite
I'm surprised you didn't add an edit after more recent tests: the Shark passes filtration tests for a long time and continues to with maintenance, while the Dyson ball vacuums do not appear to have closed systems.
I love my shark duo seriously. I have the same red model. Going strong now at 4 yrs. The floor has never been so clean and you can see it cus it has a light on the vacuum. I just wish the light stays on when you detach it from the body. One day when it stops working I'll get the newer Shark that cuts the hair automatically and you don't have to manually remove it
I don’t care if the Shark is more powerful or not. The Dyson will reign supreme at capturing fine dust in the dust bin rather than having it clog up the HEPA filter after 1 use.
I think would be amazing if you can do a video on Shark NZ801UKT or NZ801UK vs Dyson Small Ball Allergy. Both upright from the top 2 brands, UK versions. But you are based in America and they have different models by the looks of it. I saw a lot of your videos. Excellent videos. Cheers
I live in a large 4 bedroom 3 bedroom house and used to own a dyson, it was quite a bit larger than the shark and everytime i sucked up a tissue or wrapper it would cause some issue (clogged), I bought a shark and i was amazed at how great it was at cleaning, it even lifted the carpet up making it softer to walk on, would not recommend dyson.. Say what u want, i will never get a other brand vacuum other than shark Great vid btw!
Love my p50 shark, bought my daughter the power liftaway m technology. My neighbor has a Dyson great motor crapy dust bin every time you empty have to dig stuff out then the hepa filter falls out. I'll keep my shark. Brother has the old roller ball has the thing all taped together P.O.S!!!!!
I kind of beg to differ. The Dyson failed the fog test so regardless of having a better filtration, it doesn't actually help all that much. I'd rather have a whole body seal with a weekly filter clean than leaked allergens.
I bet that Dyson deep cleans carpets better than the Shark which is what actually matters. I’d also say that Dysons in general rely much less on its filters than the Shark and don’t get dirty as much.
got the multifloor 2 for 330.00 after price match. I like the swivel feature of the dyson ball family. plus it has pull when its turned on. I live in a apartment so its great for me. Well worth every penny, my very first Dyson vacuum that uses bagless container. After using my sisters dyson I had to get one.
Ok so I went with the Dyson because I wanted the max amount of suck! They gave me some tools with my purchase ($70 Bucks Worth) another point for the Dyson!
I don't usually waste my breath commenting on reviews videos, but your scoring methodology is horrible. You seem to me going on the marketing points listed on the box over any testing. One point each for each of the "features." You seem to depend on other reviewers more than your own observations and/or test. Don't bother doing this if that is your process.
Jon Loss you are a complete piece of shit to even dare to say such a thing. In case you haven’t been a loyal viewer of this channel then you will know that there are separate videos for the individual vacuums.
I think the shark is to powerful that it gets away and it is to heavey for me because of my Dubrovnik and I found my hair my dogs fur got in the the brushes and my Shark is making a loud whisking and I just bought it and also I had to order the pet power brush and it does not work the greatest I have a old shark rocket and it has been great but they don’t make it anymore so my opinion is I want to take it back for the money I paid for it
Completely omitting to show the shark's suction and the Dyson's tools makes this so called comparison completely useless and biased. How much are Shark paying you?
Dyson Multifloor 2 at Amazon: geni.us/fQbnc
Shark Duoclean Powered Liftaway is no longer available. Consider Shark Vertex (Amazon): geni.us/jBX9l7a
Thanks!! Wife and I were hovering over both of these at Home Depot and went with the Shark because of this review!!

I was very disappointed
with Dyson, I have a old shark and have much better suction than a new Dyson animal.

I did the same, you won't be disappointed!

If it’s same price, I’ll go with dyson. I don’t have much hardwood and dyson is just a beast on carpets
I think it wwould be best if you chose shark then 🤣
Its a beast on carpet and hard floot because of it soft roller
I owned many Dyson's before i got a shark. I realized with Dyson I was paying for the name when the shark did a better job.
3 years later and they raised the prices by 100 dollars.
I don’t care if the Shark is more powerful or not.

Indeed.
I have a Dyson pet and I just bought the Shark Apex Duo, the Shark blows away the Dyson. Especially on my 2 dogs contribution of hair.

This shark duoclean does not have a 7 year warranty it has a 5 year warranty just like the dyson

+ basem Samir, what do you mean ?. What you wrote makes no sense
@@leslieslass It makes perfect sense lol. Dyson sucks.
I don't care if Dyson or Shark is better now change the subject you dyson fan
@@brickz4life973 I made a mistakes in the comment i was meant to say "i would never buy any vacuum other than shark* I despise dyson.
@@leslieslass I made a mistakes i was meant to say shark, not dyson

The filtration on the Dyson is much better. The shark has to be cleaned more often due to the poor design.
Dyson is not better shark is better
I have owned many dysons and IMO they are the worst vacuums built for the money!
I kind of beg to differ. The Dyson failed the fog test so regardless of having a better filtration, it doesn't actually help all that much. I'd rather have a whole body seal with a weekly filter clean than leaked allergens.
The Dyson has leaks stuff out while the shark keeps it all in. Having used both shark is better, the comparison videos are accurate.
@@adavionbragg5069 I don't care at all if dyson or shark is better now leave everybody alone

Doesnt the shark have more suction?
no way
Tom O'brien oh really, im starting not to like shark that much anymore
Suction does not clean carpets airflow does and both are relatively low in the cfm department compared to any direct air machine.
@@GodRam1988 Which has more airflow? The Dyson or Shark?
Joe dyson will pull a little over 70 cfm the shark will get about high 60s if I’m correct
Fab review! Thank you I've made my mind up now!
Ok so I went with the Dyson because I wanted the max amount of suck! They gave me some tools with my purchase ($70 Bucks Worth) another point for the Dyson!
That's how I chose my last girlfriend, suck matters.
G gross
Bob Ross I agree
Disgusting and vile
Scottish Lass lol
So the dyson wins because of dust alone !
“The smallest things matter with vacuums, so I’ll award shark a point” *Dyson has a better deal on amazon* “no point”
Dyson should have won
But where's the water review....isn't that where sharks live?
A bit unfair doing this comparison because Shark will always beat Dyson
It'd have been a better & LOT LESS BORING VIDEO had he showed both of them doing their stuff. I knew that bad boy Sharkie would win.
LET THE DYSON WIN
