- White's Boot Resole work is a very common thing butt upgrading the soles on Whites Boots is another thing that most forget.
In this video we will be adding a Vibram Flat Sole to these Vibram Christy Soles that came on these Whites Boots.

I like this format a lot. Probably some cases where a hybrid of voice over and live could be beneficial, but overall this was a great way to present this project.
Just filed a police report with Denver police toward this business and its owner (yes Allan, it looks like there are a lot of people who's items you have kept). I tried getting back my shoes but your shop has disappeared off the earth, your website doesn't exist and your phone number doesn't work)

They said they were moving locations... its really weird. Been without my shoes for 3+ months.
There are numerous police reports already. My understanding is the guy has everyone’s boots in storage and has no intention of refunding anyone. I’d encourage everyone who’s been robbed by Cobblers Plus to let both the Denver and Aurora CO police know.

Definitely done plenty of Thorogoods but it was always with a sole that matches close in color

They’ve had a pair of my Birkenstocks for going on 7 months now. I sent a few emails and then at about month 3 or so, when the website was still up, I started to send a message through their site but there was warning that went something like “reading your messages about the status of your shoes will only make it take even longer”. I’m trying to remain empathetic, I know no one escaped to Canada with a huge bag of smelly shoes, and I hope he isn’t sick or worse. I suspect the TH-cam popularity led to an overwhelming influx of repairs, disgruntled employees, etc. I’m sure Covid didn’t help. I wanted to send my Indy 403s as well but I thought I’d see how the Birkenstocks experience was first. They failed the test :/

@@insomehonkytonk *Yes I know. I read the site since after all I did mention it. I forgot to mention why I let people know about it. I know the gofundme is from 2020. He didn't make his goal. I still believe it could be possible he could be in a bad financial situation. No one knows for sure. So for now there's only speculation and rumors. He didnt make his goal to $15,000 with only 26 donations. It leads me to believe they still could be in a bad financial situation. Anyway, it's only a theory....after that we don't know what else could be going on. More importantly, I hope you all get your shoes back. Take care! ❤❤*
After speaking to the Colorado Economic Fraud Dept, I was told they'e received many complaints about Cobbler's Plus. They recommended filing a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General here coag.gov/file-complaint/
The more people that file complaints the greater chance they take this seriously.
Liked the video style. Honestly either are good to me or a mix. Will watch them all. Are you still doing cash or trash? Hope you get an Oakstreet Truman or Parkhurst sometime soon.
Boots turned out great, and i liked the voice over. Sometimes in the other recordings it could be difficult to hear you.
Nope, a cobbler did this same thing on a pair of my boots. They were WAY to heavy after words, to the point I gave them away. Danner does it best with their light weight soft inner foam core and a sierra on the outside if that's what you're after.

Sent 2 pairs of shoes here last 8 months ago and never got them back. Beware.

@@sasqwatch00 I mailed them as I don’t live in CO. They confirmed receipt and every time I called I was given one reason or another they weren’t ready. Then they kept telling me they would be sent in a few days, but never happened.

It is getting a little hard to talk in the videos with others in the shop here. Machines running, people asking questions. Part of why it’s been harder to post video’s lately

I have a 14.5 Christy sole pair of boots from nicks will that vibram flat sole fit
The Vibram 1276 would probably be a better option. They make that one up to a size 18 even

Looks like s good fit. I never thought about re-covering just the sole w\ a new Vibram sole. I have a pair of Irish Setter 6" moctoe wedges thst this would work perfectly for. I never thought those little waves in the christy soles were at all useful -besides being soft for comfort, they are useless for traction on snythinv besides dry flat concrete & such. Starting to get the lil heel wear on back now. These slighly rugged Vibram soles would make a big difference w\out affecting the comfort of the cushy wedge. I'll have to look into this, order a set & take to my local cobbler....if i dont do it myself. Its just sanding & gluing after all.👍🏻👌🏼📏🛠️🔧🔩📐💪🏻🤔🤷🏼♂️🦺👢🥾✔️🍻
