Nicely done. I just bought my Cricut mug press so I guess my decision was made for me but had I not, I would have bought the Walapress. I liked your review.
Thanks for this. Just starting out, so was thinking of the Wala press, For a tall tumbler can you turn it upside down to get the bottom half? Or would it make the center spot deeper in color since that gets heated twice?
I am looking tognet one of these, in the UK we don't have the walapress brand but it's just a mug press they stuck their own branding on, there's a few exact same in UK called Pogi and green crafts, they are the same as the walapress but with their logo on instead Issue I am worried about is the mugs I do need 190 degrees at 160 seconds and these mug press machines and that vevor one only seem to go too 100 seconds which is 60 seconds too little so not sure they will work
What is the difference in cost$$$? I have the Cricut mug press and another open ended mug press that came with other attachments for a heat press, I’m happy with both that I have so don’t need another one but I didn’t think you said what the cost difference was.
Hi! Did you have to set up the walapress online like you have to do for the cricut mug press?? Or did you just plug it in and it worked? My cricut mug press took a poop on me and it is out of warranty, so I’m looking to get something similar as I’m not sure if I want to go with circuit again 😅
is the opening the same size in both? the 15oz cricut mugs are tight once you wrap it. for their own press. really disappointed. i wanted the wala press but dont like their lack of warranty and return process
Bought this press, is not compatible with a sublimation mug I bought, 15 oz. I would not have bought this press had I known it could not handle this size mug. Not returnable. Instruction booklet lists 15 oz on Q&A session.
The more noticeable scorching around the edge of the paper from the Cricut mug press could be due to the fact the paper is higher above the mug. Both machines seem like they give similar results according to your video, however I will say the WALAPress mug press is more prone to faults due to the automatic closing/opening. Another thing is the WALAPress mug press isn't sold worldwide whereas the Cricut mug press is sold worldwide.
Update I bought one...came this morning and it's being returned, these auto mug press machines are no good for decent full wrap designs. I tried the exact same full wrap images and sizes that I use on my normal mug press and all the edges were not heated or pressed correct...also around the top where top of mug is the image was blurry. I then made the images alot smaller so even further away from the mug and top and still same results. These mug press machines are only fit for non full wrap images where you just have a image on either side but not going all around but you have to go eve further from the handleon full wraps going the distance away from the handle so it looks good makes the mug look bad and unprofessional as the image starts near face on lol...I'm returning it as they clearly are not fit for purpose...or just 1 purpose and not full wrap designs This seems to be a issue with even those auto heat press machine only 1 pressure and heat distribution not great so won't work for some items
Nice review, however disapointingly not much was demonstrated here. You would ideally do a full color photo showing skin/color tones & blacks sublimated top to bottom with full bleed for this type of comparison. Deep blacks, color vibrancy and the press's ability to produce such without fading with zero to the least issues possible is the real test for comparison.
So is the wala press wider in diameter or are they the same
Love the new plug and press automatic mug presses. Cricut has a grip having their products to even work.
Morning what sizes do those 2 heat press hold for mugs.. thanksss❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very interesting! I already have a cricket one but the Walla one looks better. Thanks!
They both look good..... I have the cricut mug press and love it

Thank you. I’m planning to do another tutorial in real time that shows everything from start to finish.
I have the Wala press and LOVE IT!
Incredible! They both look amazing
I would love to see how you got the design…I’m new!!😊
Wow. Just heard of this. Thanks!

I like it, never heard of the Walapress,

What kind of paper do you use?

What is the price difference between them
They’re actually around the same price. But the benefits of the walapress is the auto open.

Nope, if I remember correctly my Walapress was plug and play.
Where did you get that tape dispenser?
It’s a normal office one. I think I got it in Amazon.

Yes the opening is the same.
Thanks!
