It is nice that people are experimenting with dual energy to make drudd work. He is no longer just a wall. I haven't played much dual energy decks but 85% of the time it works for me.
They definitely ran dual energy. The option to attack with Druddigon is pretty nice, Tauros doesn't care about energy type, and Greninja (all his evo line) is very forgiving when it comes to energy type
I played this a while back with dual energy and there are definitely matches where you tank with tauros while building up drudd on the bench. Once drudd is online, he's a menace.
Since froakie and frogadier use colourless, playing both energy types in this deck is significantly more consistent in my experience(ive played a very similar deck for a while now, different trainer/support cards only)
if only the developers will alternate multi-energy generation each turn, this will open up more interesting and viable deck lists. As it is, mono-energy with splashable colorless cards are the way to go for now.
Should only be one Tauros imo. Costs too much to attack, dependent on hitting EX for max effectiveness, and it trades poorly into most EX threats. I've auto conceded a ton of games where I just draw two early Tauroses and can't do anything for 3 turns as they play around them.
I disagree. While.playing this, the main thing to figure out in each matchup is which of the two, tauros or drudd, is going to the be the tank and which is going to be the attacker. You don't want to have to lead drudd if he is your win con attacker against a non ex deck
Hey there! Been enjoying your Pocket content, probably my favourite PTCGP creator out there by far. 🤟 Really glad you covered this list, because it's hella fun and just such a fresh take from the norm. 😄 With dual energy, it's so versatile. It affords the deck cost to fit in so many powerful trainers, there's practically always a ready answer. Drud is the only one that really needs to curve out, but mainly as a late-game closer VS non EX decks (Fighting, Dark). Tauros and Gren help smooth out the energy curve till then just fine! Been having such a wild win streak vs meta EX decks and the newcomer non-EX decks alike, it's just sooo much fun... Ironically the card I'm most afraid of is the elusively played Red Card, because it knocks off all my trainers LOL Keep up the banger vids dude, always looking forward to more !! 🤟😝
I feeeel like it’s just be water energy since Druudigon isn’t the Pokémon you’re trying to KO anybody with. He’s just there to tank & do passive damage. You’d use Leaf to then swap him out once your Taurus is ready. But I haven’t tried it myself.
Saw this list on limitless, tested it with dual energy with no idea what to expect. Went 9-0 defeating all other top tier decks its incredible maybe Gyarados EX could be a close call
It's ran with dual energies. I run a deck similar to this, and in a tournament I was in recently, someone ran this except same deck with dual energies. There's also another youtuber who has posted this deck with dual energies.
Ive seen one or two other content creators with this deck. It may have actually originated from Hoogland's vid since that was some weeks ago now. I feel like I'd enjoy it a little more with a Mew in there but I dunno what i would cut. Either way, Greninja continues to be one of the most splashable and fun cards in the game.
This is a very good deck. I am winning a lot with this. It defintely needs a bit more experienced player's direction and it might be hard for a newbie to control. But, it is very good to attack the meta. I ran dual energy. You do need to juggle a lot and make intelligent choices.
the only deck i found hard to defeat but not impossible is the venusaur deck cause of how bulky it is so you can't oneshot but fortunately most players aren't playing venusaur EX.
Marshadow can matter, mewtwo using the 50power attack twice. It can also reduce damage against benchhitters like hitmonlee and Zebstrika. I've been running this deck for prolly 100 games and find the blue tech to be useful. I also run 1 mew and 1 xspeed with only 1 Sabrina and no Gio. I think different deck lists can work well because you're a control deck. You have to play around what you and your opponents run. So me playing only 1 Sabrina makes me use it differently than if I had 2.. Mew is great into Mewtwo and Charizard specifically and helps patch up some other matchups too.
@@proshepherd bad coin flips happen more often than you think it does, regardless of the statistics. you're always gonna remember all of the times you roll shit with a deck, especially if it's happening in multiple consecutive matches in a row
Lol I just played this deck then open yt and see this 😂 but only 1 tauros and 1 mew ex cus when ur not against ex deck Tauros is useless. I actually win all my games this way 1 mew helped a lot I defeated a Blaine deck and basic Gengar cus of mew addition. Ps: I played dual energy and didn't encounter any problem
Peak deck building: "What if we took the three cards that fit into every deck and put them together into one deck."
Well played
😂
Add some Mew into it
😂😂
I don't see Kangaskhan or Pidgeot EX here.

Check out Neji4real's Drug/Gre/Blaine build, it's my favorite thing to play.
but the 15% that loses me games is completely, utterly soulsucking to lose to and makes me never want to touch dual energy again (besides dragonite)
Probably they only ran water energy, dual energy decks lose to themselves half the time
No?? You don't want to attack with greninja, you play double for druddigon and tauros dosen't care about Energy type
@@Rose-jr9cb Yeah that could be it too now that you mention it

ive been using this deck over the last couple weeks - the blue, what's good about it is it counters pretty much the entire current meta
2:25 the most wild reveal I've ever seen in this game 😆
It's gotta be a Timmy deck.
if only the developers will alternate multi-energy generation each turn, this will open up more interesting and viable deck lists.

Greninjas my fav card to use bcuz of that ability 😭

Yea even with one I got stuck and lost 2 is overkill

Predicting the concede at the end there was chefs kiss
Dude turn back on that "Energy attached, attacked, supporter played"-reminder. Trust me it will be worth it 😂
A Tauros Full Art would be so sick
definitely deserving of one, I want to see variants like Marvel snap, gimme some ken sugimor mid 90's water color art

Cut the blue for a single mew
Me runs the deck: Goes first, no leaf, inconsistent energy, greninja in the shadows, taurus merced by a Machamp.

It would make sence to have multi energy’s generate in a rotation 🤷♂️ just my opinion. It would make split energy worth playing for this games format
Add a single mew and this deck is unstoppable... Been having winning streaks with it
Mew to replace what card? Dual or no?
@@jaredperez1804 1 tauros 1 mew
Dual
@@jaredperez1804 probably 1 tauros 1 mew, do you really need 2 tauros? very situational card
Before turn 1. Use all their cards. That was wild.
This is almost identical to the one i run, and I agree that dual energy is a risky decision
Can anyone tell me why he didn’t place the fire energy on turn 12? 8:18
how do u do this on ur computer?
Hello, what app do you use to play pokemon tcg on a PC? thanks
bluestacks works for me, but there's a ton out there. reddit is your best friend when it comes to emulators
@ thank you

Is blue used for anything else besides celebi-pika ex + gio?

3:30 why didn't you attack?
he literally said he forgot at the exact timestamp you gave....
Great, you're a pro man!🎉
The energies don’t matter cos you barely ever attack with anyone but Tauros - at least in my experience
I get home Blue is a good card. Like on paper it’s a good card but I just feel like I never get use out of it
Fought a guy today using this deck, although I won, it was tough!
I never actually have problems with dual energie somehow. 9/10 I can manage with them.
I ran triple energy on a colorless deck 😂
Dual energy shouldn’t be bad in this Deck. If you look at the mana costs of each. Greninja only needs 1 water and anything else.
it sucks when u draw nothing but fire 6 turns in a row llol
@ yeah :/ maybe they can fix the ratio of that in the future. I believe this game has so much more to offer in the future.
@@XatumiThe odds of that happening is like 1 in 64. Even the odds of three of the same energy in a row is 1 in 8. It really doesn't happen that often

oh of course. Greninja

your first opponent won by luck with that noob deck lmao
We all win by luck if you really think about it.
