Such an amazing guide! It’s not an hour long video where they explain everything the character has. It’s a simple guide that tells us their best tools and what do with them! Wish more guides were like this! Amazing guide! 😁💚
This is just what i needed, thank you so much for the video! Concise information, setups, combos, gameplan, all in a 11min video i can rewatch over and over again :) I know the timing isn't the best for algorithm reasons, but just to throw it out there i'd sure love a similar video for A.K.I. Although i have my own ideas and some stolen ones for setups, playing neutral with her unorthodox kit remains my biggest weakness even after months playing her, and the more i climb the bigger of a headache it becomes lol
Glad you enjoyed! As for AKI, I have a bunch of other videos I have lined up so I’m not sure how soon I can get to that. But, pop into one of my twitch streams and I’ll be more than happy to look over your replays and give advice so you can level up fast
Watched a combo vid, but this is the first guide I've found. Considering subbing him & watched a top player. This really helps, & it's concise. Just a few combos is great (not overwhelming). Nice job.
I'd love if one of these days an fgc content creator released a "This is the WORST guide for Terry" or "Watch this Terry video LAST before playing ranked"
Really good video, straight to the point and useful! What do you think about ending some combos in heavy shoulder > od fireball for pressure on oki? Like... PC stHK > crMP~crHK > heavy shoulder > OD fireball
I don’t think it’s really necessary because you can get good oki without spending 2 bars for the OD fireball. It’s still VERY early so I could be totally wrong! Just my first impressions so far
A guide for intermediate players. How i miss that in other fighting games. Usually it's just for beginners with basic button inputs or very specific stuff nobody needs except tournament players.
Amazing guide Chris. Thank you very much. Matches most of the labbing I did yesterday, but definitely covers things I overlooked. What do you think about standing HP (1 hit), round wave? I found it to be a great pressure tool (although it's fake because it has a gap in between the punch and the round wave). When in punish counter, you can do st HP (1 hit) into round wave, then do fire kick (crouching MK , crouching HK) into whatever. This all midscreen. When in the corner, you can link a crouching medium punch after the round wave and drive rush cancel into repeating the same combo. The damage is good, but I don't know yet is this would be a better punish than starting the combo with OD burn knuckle into wall splat.
Thank you so much! Labbing this out and putting together a guide less than 36 hours after release was def a challenge but it was fun. HP (1) round wave is def strong but as you said it has a gap so you can’t overuse it. Also this guide is more for people of all skill levels so I left that out bc I don’t think lower level players need to worry about creating extra pressure options. Strong players will figure that out themselves I think
When you want to cancel into level 3, depending on the route you're using it's better to do light dp into level 3 instead of heavy because the hit does more damage. They have different range so it depends on the combo, like Akuma, but in the corner I think you're able to get light dp most of the time.
I main akuma and have been wanting to switch characters because the low health is a big drawback for me would you suggest terry Ken or Ryu? Which of the hose are the best all arounder shoto?
is there anyway to make it easier for landing 5mk (counter) to SA1? Having a hard time landing it so if there is like any shortcut (like the easier methods of dp or 360s) I would really like to know cause currently I am just trying to mash out fast enough.
Clearly the best video showcasing Terry. No overly long video with tons of fillers, straight to the point. Love it.
Wow, thanks!!
Agreed

Amazing video. Unlike other guides this straight to the point and condenses what feels like the need to know information. Thank you so much.
Straight to the point has been my style since day 1
You did some great lab work. Fantastic starter guide.
Thank you so much!
Your guide was released at the right time. It's clear and concise and I took many notes! What an awesome guide, thank you for the lab work!
You're very welcome! Thanks for saying you liked it!
The gameplan section was so useful for me. Thank you for this!
Glad to hear it! Thx!
Appreciate this! I really like the frame kill setup by whiffing 2 LPs.
Thanks!!

@@Chris_F Yeah, one of my mains in KoF15. You're welcome.
I used him version 1.0 when he was S+ tier but stopped once they nerfed him
This is the best guide ever! Thank you Chris_F!
You're very welcome! Thanks!
thank you for this. really helpful for mid level players
Glad to hear that!
Subbed. I like your style of tutorials. Keep up the good work 👍

Thank you so much 😁
Happy to have you as a fan!!
Honestly really helpful, I typically suck at SF6 but now Terry is my first Platinum character sooo... That says something
Congrats!
Thank you, notes taken!
Thanks!
This was incredibly helpful bro, thanks a lot
Just doing what I do
So helpful and straight to the point. If only I saw this before going 2-8 in my placement matches 😅
Better late than never
Subbed, really great video straight to the points and well guided. Getting to masters tonight with it
Thank you so much for the sub and for the comment!
Did you hit master? I want to hit master too but making this guide took up all my free time
@@Chris_F I hit it today! Placed d3 yesterday and needed this push Thank you!!
@Kyuubi12341 congrats!
such a helpful and concise guide, thanks bro
Glad it helped!

Thank you for the content as always. I think I found my main.
Happy to help!
I'd love if one of these days an fgc content creator released a "This is the WORST guide for Terry" or "Watch this Terry video LAST before playing ranked"
DON'T WATCH THIS GUIDE BEFORE PLAYING TERRY would be the funniest title ever, it suggests the viewer will be WORSE after watching lol
Great guide. Now I just need to find a Chun guide as concise as this
Glad you enjoyed!

Can’t wait to practice everything in this vid
Love your Channel!👏
Thank you so much!!
Thank you
I just wish you do more of these for the base cast too!
They probably won’t get many views this late in the game so I will probably only focus on new characters for the time being
@@Chris_F yea I get that, which is why it's a wish haha
@@Chris_F but you can also do them sparingly when convenient, and they can be a good starting point for players joining during S2 and beyond

They have different range so it depends on the combo, like Akuma, but in the corner I think you're able to get light dp most of the time.
When doing heavy tackle drive rush combos doing crHP > heavy tackle instead of crMP > sHP > heavy tackle is more optimal and easier to do
I think my route builds more super meter bc it has more hits, I could be wrong though since I got this guide out so quickly
Great stuff as always man.just incidentally , what's wrong with the light and heavy burn knuckles?
Thanks bro!
1. he doesn’t have light burn knuckle
2. Heavy you can react to with DI
Did you find any use for Quick Burn that would make you use it over any other special?
The OD version is useful when combing into lvl 2 or 3. Haven’t found a use for the light version yet
Happy trucker man
For the last combo would it be better to do light rising tackle for more damage? Great video by the way! Always learning from you
Not sure, forgot to check that when I made the video😅
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Any tips for timing the ch mk > buster wolf?
Input just after his foot hits the ground
@@Chris_F thank you!! :D
I think you can throw instant dash forward in corner and be +2
+3
You the goat!
Thank you!
I main akuma and have been wanting to switch characters because the low health is a big drawback for me would you suggest terry Ken or Ryu? Which of the hose are the best all arounder shoto?
Ken if you want a high tier
@@Chris_F you think Ken is stronger than Terry? If you have the time could you tell me why you think that?
Hey any idea why when i do OD burn knuckle i get a completely different move than the one you do
You have to push MP+HP to get OD burn knuckle
Can you make a starter Rashid guide?
I don’t play rashid so probably not in the near future

You can buffer the first qcf motion in the middle of the move, then do the second qcf+K as soon as his foot his the floor
@@Chris_F Thank you so much with no additional practice I am landing it %70 now.
Ty sir
You’re welcome!
Anything you have to add with the patches?
Haven’t gotten around to really play terry but he has some new combos and his st HP is WAY better now!
please teach me how to beat this character my winrate like 20% against him😭
I’ll have an anti terry guide up as soon as I can
@@Chris_F thx coach
Things to know, hk is not drive impact cancelable, the flip also is not don't let them get away with it 😂
I have one question is he a charge character?
No he isn’t
@ awesome thanks I’m 1000% more likely to buy him now lol great tutorial help btw.
What are Terry’s best BnB’s in the midscreen and what are his best buttons for meaties on knockdown?
Did you even watch the video😑
@@Chris_F Commented while watching my bad 😅
I refuse to believe anybody is hit confirming cr mp
16F cancel window so it’s not easy but def possible
Terry hurtbox is so fucked up bro , besides that's the cr medium kick is long , annoying to deal with but people are already figuring him out
This video reminded me of how much fighting games suck
Why?
Why lol
