@@GregMurrayEnt1 Thanks for the video. Would you be able to block ads on the Roku with ad-block software on the laptop? Could you then run an HDMI cable from the laptop to a TV set?
Nice, was trying to find a way to use roku on my quest 3 vr headset. Was going to try apk files or to go thru my laptop to steam to my headset. Tried plex app and that somewhat worked. Still working on it tho. Sucks laptops only have hdmi out and not an in.
Hello @NostalgicTribe, My Samsumg Gear VR is so old, it doesn't connect anymore, so I can't help you with that. I don't know what apk files or plex apps are. I am lost with your situation. I'm sorry I can't help.
Will this technique allow us to view all the channels (apps) that are available on Roku or just the the Roku channel? I have a Tablo device that I can watch on my Roku TV and Samsung phone but I can't watch the Tablo on My PC! I hope your technique will solve the problem.
@SpectralightPhoto, this is only connecting your device to your computer. It is up to your device as to what it will receive and send to your computer. Thank you for your comment.
Hello Edwin. "The scene button is not working" is a pretty generic statement. Can you be more specific about what you are experiencing, so that I may help you get your Roku working with your computer? I'm sorry you are having trouble getting to work for you.
Are you kidding me? There's got to be an easier way. I'm thinking and HDMI output converter where the video goes into the monitor and the audio into the aux input on the PC sound card.
Direct and to the point. If too fast for you, just pause between steps. Thanks Greg you've made my day.
Thank you, Jerry.
