Bit sad that Gamefreak didn't go for voice actors for their main cast interactions, like the scenes with Arvin and his dog, or with Ai Sada/Toru in the elevator and cutscenes, like when leaping into Area 0, or when the time machine activated paradise defence protocol.
I humbly ask that if your friends would like to, and of course have the time to do so. Could we possibly get a cinematic cut together from the Zone 0 from the split up to the meet up with the professors? Like that whole last battle in the crystal machine? I gotta admit, the voice acting was so spot-on! It definitely makes you wish that the makers of the game would've actually added voices to the characters in the 1st place.
That last scene with the professor will always give me chills. But the voice acting pushed it over the edge. Also the small edits to the voice made it even cooler
I definitely feel like voice acting would’ve done so much justice for Arven when Mabostiff made a full recovery and made the scene a lot more emotional
This is sooo perfect. All of the characters either sounded exactly like I imagined or really fit them. It's hard not to get a little emotional when something you invest so much time into and take the time to be immersed in is executed so well!
Okay, I love Arven so much when watching gameplays of Scarlet and Violet, but with this voice, I totally love him more. Quite a charming but wholesome voice, awesome work.

I really hope someone working for GameFreak, The Pokemon Company or Nintendo sees these videos. It's insane how alive these cutscenes feel with a well-made dub. Voice acting needs to become a staple for this franchise. It is long long due. Great job on this one, again!
The 'please defeat me' gave me chills when I first played violet but hearing the line spoken hits completely differently... Edit: wow this blew up all of a sudden 0.0
yeah. it should of had more tension. it was sada speaking to them, to her son, to end her pain and suffering. she was in there, and it almost felt like she was still sada and became more and more an AI by the end of things with her. like she transferred her mind via a ghost in the shell type of scenario. overall though, great freaking job to ppl who did this. maybe one day this game will receive a voice DLC for new players to experience. and maybe.. just maybe going forward since Arceus and S/V were templates for future series.. GameFreak will make the next games something to be remembered even more.

The voice acting actually fits so well with the characters and the A. I. voice sounded awesome as well. I mean this game could be so much more with voices along with the tone of voice and emotions together. It sounded like there were some more sounds added too, like when you grab Nemona's hand it had a sound of you grabbing her hand instead of silence that combined well with the voice acting in the cutscene and made it so much better and well polished!

makes me wonder how they'd do the voice acting I mean you'd assume that they would just use whomever does the anime dubs for those languages, I can definitely see Pokémon Company International giving that job to the Journeys team for the English side of things since they actually use LA talent now
I mean could you imagine if Cristina Vee (Rei/Mars in Viz Media's Sailor Moon Crystal and the 90s anime redub, Ladybug from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Meiko from Digimon Tri. and various Pokémon voices notably 2 Pokémon cries within Journeys 1 of them being a big role) did 1 of the voices?

He was Ren and Ash's Rotom phone in Journeys plus I think he did Raihan's Duraludon. Cherami Leigh who was Kris and possibly Mina, she does Chloe in Journeys. Even Cristina Vee does numerous voices in Pokémon Masters including Bugsy, Phoebe AND Marnie. J Michael Tatum has been credited for Journeys but no clue what he does whereas he was Emmet for Masters. I'll stop there since I think you get my point since I could definitely do more since I see the actress that voices Bea in Journeys as well Also I don't think they'd want the same actors voicing characters in Masters that they'd be voicing in video games... of course it makes sense with the likes of Jessie, James, Team Rocket's Meowth and even Ash to have their Journeys voices since those are TV characters

@@zionnemakoma1398 Yeah, I wouldn't mind if they swapped out the given names for generic phrases. Sada/Toru can say Kid. Headmaster Clavell could go with young master. Arvin could go with bud. Penny could just go mysterious as Cassiopia, but switch to friendo when we reach the way home. Nemona just play with the word rival. There are many ways to work arround a character with given names. Bit sad that Gamefreak didn't go for voice actors for their main cast interactions, like the scenes with Arvin and his dog, or with Ai Sada/Toru in the elevator and cutscenes, like when leaping into Area 0, or when the time machine activated paradise defence protocol.
@@zionnemakoma1398 persona 5 did it alot, its a good system
@@MelvinDRosaria its Turo not Toru
@@ficothedepressed Well, guess which of the Pokemon game I have 🤣.
The character’s in this game have so much personality, it’s a shame that we never got to hear their voices.
I would play the whole game again if there was a voice acting mod.
Be the first time I'd consider hacking my system, especially with the crew these guys had.
Same ngl
@@Animefan5890it's worth it anyways
@@Animefan5890 no need to, ryujinx is here for us
If they made a paid dlc that basically just added voice acting would anyone buy it ?
I humbly ask that if your friends would like to, and of course have the time to do so. Could we possibly get a cinematic cut together from the Zone 0 from the split up to the meet up with the professors? Like that whole last battle in the crystal machine? I'd LOVE to see that whole sequence play out with voice lines.. how much different it must be for each version... it would be so heartbreaking but also relieving. This is so amazing I can't wait to see how Turo and Sada would sound for the whole sequence...
I would love to hear the Turo versions of the clips we have of Sada here - maybe in the next video, perhaps! Thanks to all the VAs for their amazing work here; everyone sounds precisely how I imagined they would!
If I didn't know any better, I'd think this was official with how professional and spot on it sounds
Yeah,i also thought for once if I was playing on mute and missed out on this.😅
The channel is run by a voice actor so I’m not surprised
Legit got chills from sada going from normal to AI voice. REALLY brings the characters alive and gets you 10x more invested.
Man this voice acting was so good I was ready to watch a full episodes worth of this haha.
Wow. I just. I can't get over this. I already love story and characters as they are, but this... this is on another level. That last scene, hearing her natural voice slowly change into robotic madness as her own will is overridden by the protocols never fails to form this lump in my throat and that's such a very good thing. Thank you and your friends for doing this! I'd pay an unreasonable amount to see the whole ending...
“And you’re not getting in my way”
Man that sent a chill down my spine
This feels so... right xD
This games NEED voice acting. A VA mod would be epic-
Okay, I love Arven so much when watching gameplays of Scarlet and Violet, but with this voice, I totally love him more. Quite a charming but wholesome voice, awesome work.
Kinda funny how these voices are pretty much exactly how I imagined all of them sounding in my head. 😅
Dear god please do this for the whole game if possible 🥺
agreed. then make it a mod where all the hd cutscenes (the cutscenes with that grey gradient with the words instead of the text boxes) are voice acted
I'd literally pay money for a mod that integrated complete VA lines
dont expect anything, these guys are not getting paid
Pay them to do it, i dought God will help u in that matter.
Whoever voiced Momo did a fantastic job! This is literally how I imagined him!
I need more of this. I need Turo scenes ahh! This really makes these cut scenes so much better.
And if you need any violet footage I have a lot of it screen recorded!!
This is sick, if someone could somehow do the whole game with voice acting, you would be a blessing because this game desperately needs it and after that taste you can't leave us hanging we need more PLEASE!!!!
I've been thinking of doing a compilation of lets players dubbing the characters in Sword and Shield back then.
But I'm just too lazy to do it lmao.
I really hope someone working for GameFreak, The Pokemon Company or Nintendo sees these videos. It's insane how alive these cutscenes feel with a well-made dub. Voice acting needs to become a staple for this franchise. It is long long due. Great job on this one, again!
Theyd likely slap a copyright on it first...need folks to fundraise a buyout of the company and rights so the community can do things right
@@Animefan5890 taking Pokemon away from Gamefreak would be like taking an abused child out of a neglecting family by child care services
@@MiBrCo4177 that would be awesome, although I don't think the dlc adding voice acting is very likely
It’s so perfect I had to question if I had my switch muted during these scenes.
This is SO perfect. I literally almost started crying multiple times from this video. I just want voice acting in this game so bad, and I like to think that in an alternate universe somewhere, we got that.. this is just so amazing and well done. I LOVE the first bit with Arven, Nemona, Penny, Koraidon and the player. That scene in the original game made me tear up out of happiness and hearing it with voices just made it so much better and emotional for me. I love this so much.
Sada's VA is perfect, hope they hire her for the english dub of the SV anime.
holy shit i somehow love the mommy sada scene even more now! a nice touch having her voice subtly become more robotic as she gets corrupted
VA definitely elevates these scenes to higher highs
You guys sound amazing, you've really elevated these scenes to another level. Hope to see even more parts soon!
"Please. Defeat me." So fucking cold
I actually need this for the whole game… so… I guess y’all have another 30+ vids to make.
On a serious note, you guys did amazing!!!! Such great talent, and the voices fit so well!!!!!
Holy hell your friends are talented- these literally all match perfectly with their designs
God, I hope someone dubs the entirety of Scarlet / Violet! This sounds so awesome, it really adds so much more emotion to the scenes! The AI Sada was done so well and the music to go along with it just made it perfect!
Lets hope someone does that and mods it into the game
GREAT IDEA!!! 🤩✨
The convo during the walk through Area Zero is all I truly need. ❤
Eri's voice is EXACTLY how I thought she’d sound.
The first sene you did is my favorite cutcene!
What crazy timing, I just found the first video! The voice acting really makes these scenes more impactful, hopefully Gen 10 will have voice acting.
And we Will say that until the planet get destoyed
Nope not happening
I just hope they get more time for gen 10 regardless if they able to make Voice Acting possible.
@@Squiggles. Me too. If they had more time with Scarlet and Violet, it probably would have been much smoother, and better looking.
@@MsCerealCat infinitely.
Just look at splatoon. Most visually pleasing on the switch. (For me)
But one problem is that they also have a smaller team but are pushed to make a Pokèmon game every year. It's a shame, really.
this feels so much more alive than the actual game, I hope an update adds some actual voicelines.
Don't get your hopes up.
Don’t expect it to, unfortunately
“At last….” sent shivers down my back. Everything that happened in Area 0 gave me the creeps in every best way. The voice acting just put the icing on top.
I'm 34, playing Pokémon since I was 11. I now have an 11 year old stepdaughter that I want to convince to play Pokémon but she can't be bothered by reading all this text. The voice of truth. Great job with the voice acting!
Okay, this makes it a whole new game, I played the whole game laughing about how silly the scenes were without voice acting, but now after seeing Penny finally meeting team star WITH voice acting a tear fell from my eye 😢
Im flabbergasted by how all of the voices fit so well! like when i read the dialouge i imagined them to sound like that and the emotion in the voices are top notch oh my god! seriously amazingly talented friends you got!
WOW... This definitely
deserves a round of applause for a fanmade content. Penny's voice was just so on point 😍😍
both the choice of casting and voice actor's performances are top teir! damn their 100% spot on. I would love to see more of this, especially the area zero conversations that take place while exploring the area or the final scene
I think "flying together" would just increase the fear factor because then you're risking everybody dying if you can't fly
Holy shit you guys nailed the voices for the characters perfectly this is exactly what I’m picture them to sound like 😮😯
I wanna hear more 😢
makes me wonder how they'd do the voice acting I mean you'd assume that they would just use whomever does the anime dubs for those languages, I can definitely see Pokémon Company International giving that job to the Journeys team for the English side of things since they actually use LA talent now
I mean could you imagine if Cristina Vee (Rei/Mars in Viz Media's Sailor Moon Crystal and the 90s anime redub, Ladybug from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Meiko from Digimon Tri. and various Pokémon voices notably 2 Pokémon cries within Journeys 1 of them being a big role) did 1 of the voices?
I imagined they'd probably use the VA roster that voices the characters in Pokemon Masters EX
@@GreenDinoRanger dunno since some of those actually do carry over plus they did use some of the show cast anyway like R.I.P. Billy Kametz who was Blue so sad that he's gone.
I'll stop there since I think you get my point since I could definitely do more since I see the actress that voices Bea in Journeys as well
Also I don't think they'd want the same actors voicing characters in Masters that they'd be voicing in video games... of course it makes sense with the likes of Jessie, James, Team Rocket's Meowth and even Ash to have their Journeys voices since those are TV characters
@@MattZRJSRoxy Actually, in Japan a lot of VAs are *the* VA for their character unless something forces the company to change. They even do it for the dubs when possible, which is why Yuri's been voicing Marth from Fire Emblem ever since Heroes in 2016.
@@researchinbreeder perhaps BUT I was referring to the English localization side of things and regardless of the fact that they use the same pool, they generally take the approach that games and anime aren't the same
This is incredible. All of the voice actors are so talented and fit their role really well. Dropped a like.
0:32 honestly during this scene in the game I was hey gtt we of my lizard don’t make him do things he doesn’t want to
I had chills from watching this! Gamefreak get your shit together and make it happen! I honestly hate that they don’t do anything like this, should have been a thing since sword and shield atleast, i normally don’t have sound on playing the games, but i would enjoy so much to lean back and listen to people talk, honestly i don’t even think i read it anymore i just keep pressing to skip everything, i’m dyslexic and have some minor problems with my sight, so reading a ton gives me migrane, listening to stories dosnt!
Voice acting would take an already intense set of stories and make it so much more impactful. Just the scenes with the voice actors you had was so much more
please do a full dub of the whole entire game. I would seriously watch all of it
I love this so much! All the voices are super fitting and they sound so good
This adds sooo much life to the game!!! I honestly really loved this story and this game (minus my hate for it at the beginning with all the crashes and quality) but the story is fantastic! If it has VA omg some of the scenes woulda made me cry 😭!
This makes these characters so much more likable
This is brilliant! I've watched it so many times, it is like a song that you just can't stop listening to.
And that build up to the moment when Sada says, "Please. Defeat me."
Chills every time!
These are all so good! All the small touches just add so much more to these wonderful characters!
If nothing else, I’d love to see a let’s play from all of the voice actors just to show what it all would look like put together. Each VA has done such an amazing job in these clips and I’d love to see more
Can we talk about how strong daddy issues guy is? Arven holds on to us(the player character,) with one arm with ease while actively plummeting off of a cliff.
Y'all are 1:1 with how the characters sounded in my mind. I love this so much. Gamefreak should straight hire y'all to voice pokemon games.
You guys did amazing at these voice lines! Your voices with the characters are so good and believable! We don't need full blown professional VA's to do this!
This isn't a want, this is a NEED! I need this to be a mod right now! Wish someone can integrate it into the game though
It's amazing how close the voices you chose were to the voices I had assigned each character in my head.
Arven must be damn strong to man handle you like that going 200mph
why isn't Pokemon already with voice acting!?!? this is so incredibly amazing!! amazing job to all the voice actors!!!
Wow. Everyone sounded exactly as I imagined they would. Simply fantastic.
Gotta say you've done an absolute amazing job on the voice acting. Makes me really wish they had voice acting in the games!
Right?! This game just feels so more alive with voices!
The final scene with the professor, or the AI Sada I suppose, was already so cool in my opinion, but simply adding voices to them made it so much better!!
As someone who does voice acting on TH-cam I agree games like this with really good cutscenes need voice acting it makes the game 100% better
Please add the final battle music after the last scene. Just chills
Wow! The VA gave this so much life! I cannot believe it. I’m so excited for the anime to hit! This cast 100 deserves to have their personalities shown!
Can I just say that the voice acting is awesome?? All of these characters sound exactly like how a pictured them to sound!! Plus at the scene where team star is meeting penny for the first time is so heart warming. I can just feel that they are friends, regardless of wether they’ve met face to face before.
2:47 this just sent chills down my spine
Wonderful voice acting!! Kudos to you guys!!!! AWESOME!
THIS IS SO PERFECT OMG!!!!
THE VOICES FIR SO WELL!!
I had no idea what Arven could ever possibly sound like until i heard this MASTERPIECE.
(I had headcannon voices for the others but not Arven)
