What surgeries am I getting...?

I’m thinking of making videos of my process also. I just got my braces on 2weeks ago. My next step is going to see the jaw surgeon next week. My orthodontist believes I would only need my lower jaw pulled forward because I have a overbite along with a cross bite. My friends and family have never really noticed it because I’ve taught myself since middle school to hold my jaw forward and straightened out where I believe it should be which has caused so much tension in my jaw. I’m tired of not being able to relax my face without feeling like someone will notice my cross bite and overbite. I am 33years old and feel so funny with braces but I’ll be ok and I am very excited about the journey. I’m excited to also come along and watch your journey.

You are a lovely narrator of your pending adventure in jaw surgery and orthodontics. I wore braces twice and I will be forever grateful to my parents that they cared enough to get my awful overbite fixed. Best wishes for a satisfying outcome!

When are you getting the surgery my case is similar to yours but I’ve a pretty wide palate already but recessed chin

I had it on Monday! Check out my other video to see my recovery. If you already have a wide palate you wouldn't need the SARPE surgery! Not everyone needs it.
