One thing I noticed with this video that I haven't heard anyone talk about is what Ruby and Sapphire are wearing as their "wedding" models. Ruby is in a dress (a strapless dress no doubt) and Sapphire is in a bespoke tuxedo. I think this is very interesting considering Ruby is always the one shown to be more butch. She wears shorts, a sleeveless shirt, and has the rowdy attitude, as well as being the one who takes up the stereotypical masculine role in the relationship. Sapphire on the other hand is the demure one, she wears the princess dress, has long hair, speaks softly, and is shown to be stereotypically feminine. Yet, Ruby wears the very feminine dress sporting a huge, confident grin and flowers in her hair while Sapphire is in the tuxedo, has a bow tie, stands straight without much facial expression, and has her hair in a ponytail. I just think it's an interesting role reversal while still acknowledging these characters' personalities. Bismuth has a gem in her heart ruby and sapphire are in love the gems break up so there’s a lot of heart break in this episode it probably has everyone trying to help

Bismuth is a Crystal Gem too so this is probably the reason they let her out. Whether or not it's in this arc, that's probably why she gets unbubbled. But with the name of this arc, it'd be rude not to do it here
I hope my idea will get noticed :) I think bismuth is the only one that can bring Ruby and Sapphire (Garnet) back together. I know Steven is the main protagonist... But him being there wouldn't help because he is still, by technically, Rose/ Pink Diamond (Rose Diamond?! Diamond Quartz?!) What I think could happen is that Ruby would try to fuse with Sapphire... But it won't work because of the constant reminder that their fusion was based on a lie (kinda like how some real life relationships are), so in order for the fusion to properly work, Sapphire and Ruby must learn about themselves and start over, get to know their likes and dislikes, what makes them laugh and cry, etc. Then having bismuth come in and talk about the experience she had with Steven before being poofed again as a reminder that he's trying to correct his mother's mistakes. Eventually some time goes by and they begin dating ( or however they will symbolize being together again, which would lead to their wedding images before becoming Garnet again.... I'll stop there... Because I'm not sure if this will come true.... This is my take on it... Hope everyone who sees this likes it. :)
Regina Woodard I think the point is for them to know who rose is. It will affect Jasper the most because in earthlings, she said her diamond was pink. But was mad at Steven (rose) because she thinks that rose shattered pink, instead of pink being rose. As well as she kept trying to attack her own diamond. Not sure about bismuth. This set of episodes BETTER go into more detail about what the Crystal Heart is. I'm gonna be salty if they don't. This is a perfect opportunity to start opening up to Steven about the true nature of the Crystal Gems, and the Crystal Heart is at the LITERAL heart of it ( plus Bismuth is there and I still have hope for her ♥ )
I have a theory. Bismuth might have been bubbled because she knew too much, or was at least close to making the connection needed to find out that Rose was Pink.
I figured out something in the show and been saying this for a while on every comment on TH-cam theories of the Pink Diamond arc since A Single Pale Rose aired. Pink Diamond’s fake shattering gave Bismuth an idea to shatter Gems. She thinks that Rose would do such a thing of shattering a Diamond so it influenced Bismuth to shatter Gems from Homeworld. She later built the Breaking Point and honored it to Rose but Pink Diamond’s fake shattering is going backfire do as Rose Quartz, she refused to shatter Gems with the Breaking Point and fight with Bismuth. She then poofs and bubbled her. If it had to be that, Bismuth would not be bubbled for 5,300 years in the first place. That’s what I theorized about.
I think the heart of the crytsal gems is supposed to be taken very literally, either because garnet symbolises loves (okay that one isn't actually literal) or because it centers around a gem that has a gem gem placement near their heart
"Heart of the Crystal Gems" makes me think of that structure on the Crystal Gems' room that looks like a heart....but probably is totally unrelated to that.
So does Pearl and Garnet. In WE NEED TO TALK all of them were younger. This was prob before Rebecca Sugar came up with the idea that gems don't grow, so they were just younger in the flashback. That is the only thing that makes sense I thnk.
I personally don't see bismuth returning it seems like Season 5 already has a lot on its plate with the Pink Diamond reveal, the introduction of homeworld/off colors, Lars transformation, and now this Ruby/Sapphire arc. As for the name of this bomb "heart of the crystal gems" I think it will most likely revolve around the crystal heart (the heart room in the temple) as from the episode "together breakfast" it seems like for the most part Garnet is the upkeeper of this room and is responsible for its maintenance. So perhaps with her out of the picture it may lead to a few corrupt gems getting loose maybe even Jasper or perhaps it will tie back into Bismuth like you said. Also one unlikely theory that I came up with is maybe they will tackle two birds with one stone and do a simultaneous arc of both Jasper and Bismuth as for the most part they are the same gem that shows undying loyalty to a cause that for better or worse ultimately impaired their judgment to the point that they both made morally questionable choices that inevitably lead to their bubbling.
Heart of the Crystal Gems made me think “Bismuth” because her gem is where her heart would be, almost exactly! the heart is located in the center of the chest right below the collarbone. and that’s Bismuth, baby!
I would love Bismuth to come back. She's very interesting character after all, and I'm dying to see her reaction when she's unbubbled and first talks to Steven. And with her still in a mood she was in when Steven poofed her, the conversation will definitely be interesting. I see her as aggrivated bull about to snap at the first person she sees. And after he manages to calm down her a bit... he tells her the truth. And we have her raging in sorrow and feeling of betrayal. But she still goes to Ruby and Sapphire and talks to them...
YES pleases let Bismuth comeback during this arc and let her stay for good. Could you imagine the dynamic she could add to the show especially when Peridot is around.
As for my opinion, I think this 5-night special will tackle the history of the entire rebellion. Yes, Bismuth reappearing is quite possible and I really want to meet the other gems and probably see the diamonds again. We need to see the entire history of pink diamond too.
The new arch is Heart Of The Crystal Gems, and in save the light when you go to Bismuth's Forge, there's an area called Hall To The Heart or something like that, but there is a heart and I think it evolves around Bismuth's return

So when I hear heart of the crystal gems I think of the CRYSTAL HEART INSIDE THE TEMPLE. What's it there for? What's it do? Since the temple is a statue does it need blood pumped everywhere? What's it made out of? It seems to me like we have visited it enough times for it to be an important background feature like the orb on the moon base.

I think Bismuth's return will be hinted at the end of the arc. I feel like Garnet might say something like "there's still one more crystal gem who needs to know about this" during the last episode.
I think it's ridiculous to refer to Bismuth as a victim when she was very clearly in the wrong. I have no doubt that she will return but when she does I'm kind of hoping she doesn't stick around. It's kind of hard to imagine her staying on working terms with the rest of the gems seeing as though she attempted to murder Steven for no adequate reason. There's also the fact that the matter with Lapis needs to be reconciled. I think it would be a mistake to have Bismuth return before that seeing as though Lapis's story arc of changing from an outsider to a core member of the group has been begging for an ending for a lot longer.
Brandon Powell glad I'm not the only one who feels this way, however it's more than just attacking Steven (and the bismuth who attacks Lapis is NOT our Bimuth; the gem is wrong) - it's about her ideals and the conflict it has against the CGs philosophy. While Rose/Pink was a phony, her ideals were not and are still being upheld by the current Crystal Gems. I think it's more of a disservice for them to not discuss the fact that Bismuth wanted to go around shattering gems and even made a weapon to do so for vengeance sake. Which by the way is the same reasoning the Diamonds (most likely Yellow) created the Cluster and why Yellow was very adamant about destroying the Earth. In that, both Rose and Steven were right - Bismuth was no better than the Diamonds. If they hand wash that away because everyone and their mom just wants Bismuth back, then they've basically right out that extreme views, especially those that deal with outright murder, are perfectly fine because you'll never face the consequences of your actions.
Regina Woodard I had forgotten about the Bismuth that attacked lapis when I made my first comment so that hadn't even occurred to me. On the subject of Rose Quartz being fake I tend to look at it from a different angle. I don't think of the Persona as fake but more like a chosen identity. Sort of like in superhero stories where the superhero chooses a symbol of their ideals. And I would like to make it clear that when I said I don't think Bismuth should stay with the rest of the gems I wasn't suggesting that she should be gone from the show entirely. It would be a shame if they didn't address what happened at all. I have a feeling that the majority of the time business will be staying in her Armory. And I think after a while they will begin to address what had happened. I am very glad that someone agrees because it is alarming how many people think of her as a completely blameless victim. After the Pink Diamond reveal a lot of people or under the impression that Rose basically betrayed bismuth and stabbed her in the back but seeing her jump so quickly to anger after Steven merely disagreed with her indicates to me that Rose might not have had much of a choice.
Brandon Powell I absolutely agree. Like, I honestly can't understand how people easily brush aside the facts - 1. Bismuth attacked FIRST, 2. she created a weapon to outright murder gems who weren't *Crystal Gems* 3. she never ONCE talked about Rose/Pink's compassion or kindness, despite the fact that up until meeting Jasper, EVERYONE always mentioned that about the rebel leader, oh and 4. she also attacked Steven FIRST. That doesn't even cover the fact that, had Rose/Pink not bubbled her when she did, Bismuth could have easily split the CGs in the middle of a war. Forgetting for the moment that R/P is the very cause of said war (and believe me, I don't care how old you want to make her, R/P had a responsibility that she wasted and thus ran away from, causing an intergalactic war that cost the lives of possibly thousands of gems and humans alike), the battle for Earth could've gone completely differently - two factions of Crystal Gems fighting against HW and then in-fighting with themselves. This is the big picture that, most fans apparently choose to ignore or don't care, which is why I've kinda started thinking of those folks as 'Stevens' - look before they leap with complete disregard for how their actions will have consequences. Back to Bismuth, other than possibly being told the truth, there's nothing she can do really. And considering who her VA is, not sure why people think that she's somehow gonna become a permanent member (again). Not only is it a waste of a character, but a waste of a story. It would've better if she A. stayed bubbled or B. was forced to be bubbled again because she continued to bring conflict to the heroes (something we desperately need in this show)

I think she realized that the war was completely necessary with what Homeworld was doing to the planet. I'm not claiming that she wasn't impulsive and often immature but I tend to think that her motives were generally pure.

Because these episodes are included in the DVD of the special, they must play some part in it.

Since garnet doesn't exist anymore she is not fuse anymore because garnet was a vice leader there like the second strong crystal gem so since garnet as the fastest and strongest and smart so thats why she is the vice leader of crystal gem but since she doesn't exist and a because the partner of the fuse garnet run away so bismuth will be the strong muscle for now so she will be the vide leader of the crystal gem.
It will be great for bismuth to come back into the series... But considering that she hates the diamonds and with Steven technically being pink diamond... That's going to be difficult... I'd love to see how Steven is going to calm bismuth down once they tell her the truth...

As for the name of this bomb "heart of the crystal gems" I think it will most likely revolve around the crystal heart (the heart room in the temple) as from the episode "together breakfast" it seems like for the most part Garnet is the upkeeper of this room and is responsible for its maintenance. So perhaps with her out of the picture it may lead to a few corrupt gems getting loose maybe even Jasper or perhaps it will tie back into Bismuth like you said. Also one unlikely theory that I came up with is maybe they will tackle two birds with one stone and do a simultaneous arc of both Jasper and Bismuth as for the most part they are the same gem that shows undying loyalty to a cause that for better or worse ultimately impaired their judgment to the point that they both made morally questionable choices that inevitably lead to their bubbling.
Heart of the Crystal Gems made me think “Bismuth” because her gem is where her heart would be, almost exactly! the heart is located in the center of the chest right below the collarbone. and that’s Bismuth, baby!

I would love Bismuth to come back. She's very interesting character after all, and I'm dying to see her reaction when she's unbubbled and first talks to Steven. And with her still in a mood she was in when Steven poofed her, the conversation will definitely be interesting. I see her as aggrivated bull about to snap at the first person she sees. And after he manages to calm down her a bit... he tells her the truth. And we have her raging in sorrow and feeling of betrayal. But she still goes to Ruby and Sapphire and talks to them...
YES pleases let Bismuth comeback during this arc and let her stay for good. Could you imagine the dynamic she could add to the show especially when Peridot is around.
Bismuth coming back now would actually make a lot of sense. Also seeing her reaction to finding out Rose was Pink Diamond would be great.
As for my opinion, I think this 5-night special will tackle the history of the entire rebellion. Yes, Bismuth reappearing is quite possible and I really want to meet the other gems and probably see the diamonds again. We need to see the entire history of pink diamond too.
The new arch is Heart Of The Crystal Gems, and in save the light when you go to Bismuth's Forge, there's an area called Hall To The Heart or something like that, but there is a heart and I think it evolves around Bismuth's return

It would also be neat to see more fusions between Ruby and the other gems, and Sapphire and the other gems. We've explored most of the ones with both of them, but barely any with each individually. Rhodenite? A bigger Ruby? I think that's it.

I belive that she might come back either in the season finale or in the next season because of what Rebecca Sugar said, she doesn't just make characters and tosses them in the trash, they would probably give them another appearence at least once, so it's likely that she will bring her back.

So when I hear heart of the crystal gems I think of the CRYSTAL HEART INSIDE THE TEMPLE. What's it there for? What's it do? Since the temple is a statue does it need blood pumped everywhere? What's it made out of? It seems to me like we have visited it enough times for it to be an important background feature like the orb on the moon base.

I think Bismuth's return will be hinted at the end of the arc. I feel like Garnet might say something like "there's still one more crystal gem who needs to know about this" during the last episode.
I think it's ridiculous to refer to Bismuth as a victim when she was very clearly in the wrong. I have no doubt that she will return but when she does I'm kind of hoping she doesn't stick around. It's kind of hard to imagine her staying on working terms with the rest of the gems seeing as though she attempted to murder Steven for no adequate reason. There's also the fact that the matter with Lapis needs to be reconciled. I think it would be a mistake to have Bismuth return before that seeing as though Lapis's story arc of changing from an outsider to a core member of the group has been begging for an ending for a lot longer.
Brandon Powell glad I'm not the only one who feels this way, however it's more than just attacking Steven (and the bismuth who attacks Lapis is NOT our Bimuth; the gem is wrong) - it's about her ideals and the conflict it has against the CGs philosophy. While Rose/Pink was a phony, her ideals were not and are still being upheld by the current Crystal Gems. I think it's more of a disservice for them to not discuss the fact that Bismuth wanted to go around shattering gems and even made a weapon to do so for vengeance sake.
Which by the way is the same reasoning the Diamonds (most likely Yellow) created the Cluster and why Yellow was very adamant about destroying the Earth. In that, both Rose and Steven were right - Bismuth was no better than the Diamonds. If they hand wash that away because everyone and their mom just wants Bismuth back, then they've basically right out that extreme views, especially those that deal with outright murder, are perfectly fine because you'll never face the consequences of your actions.
Regina Woodard I had forgotten about the Bismuth that attacked lapis when I made my first comment so that hadn't even occurred to me. On the subject of Rose Quartz being fake I tend to look at it from a different angle. I don't think of the Persona as fake but more like a chosen identity. Sort of like in superhero stories where the superhero chooses a symbol of their ideals. And I would like to make it clear that when I said I don't think Bismuth should stay with the rest of the gems I wasn't suggesting that she should be gone from the show entirely. It would be a shame if they didn't address what happened at all. I have a feeling that the majority of the time business will be staying in her Armory. And I think after a while they will begin to address what had happened. I am very glad that someone agrees because it is alarming how many people think of her as a completely blameless victim. After the Pink Diamond reveal a lot of people or under the impression that Rose basically betrayed bismuth and stabbed her in the back but seeing her jump so quickly to anger after Steven merely disagreed with her indicates to me that Rose might not have had much of a choice.
Brandon Powell I absolutely agree. Like, I honestly can't understand how people easily brush aside the facts - 1. Bismuth attacked FIRST, 2. she created a weapon to outright murder gems who weren't *Crystal Gems* 3. she never ONCE talked about Rose/Pink's compassion or kindness, despite the fact that up until meeting Jasper, EVERYONE always mentioned that about the rebel leader, oh and 4. she also attacked Steven FIRST.
That doesn't even cover the fact that, had Rose/Pink not bubbled her when she did, Bismuth could have easily split the CGs in the middle of a war. Forgetting for the moment that R/P is the very cause of said war (and believe me, I don't care how old you want to make her, R/P had a responsibility that she wasted and thus ran away from, causing an intergalactic war that cost the lives of possibly thousands of gems and humans alike), the battle for Earth could've gone completely differently - two factions of Crystal Gems fighting against HW and then in-fighting with themselves.
This is the big picture that, most fans apparently choose to ignore or don't care, which is why I've kinda started thinking of those folks as 'Stevens' - look before they leap with complete disregard for how their actions will have consequences.
Back to Bismuth, other than possibly being told the truth, there's nothing she can do really. And considering who her VA is, not sure why people think that she's somehow gonna become a permanent member (again). Not only is it a waste of a character, but a waste of a story. It would've better if she A. stayed bubbled or B. was forced to be bubbled again because she continued to bring conflict to the heroes (something we desperately need in this show)
Regina Woodard I would disagree that the war was started because Pink Dimond was trying to dodge her responsibilities. I think she realized that the war was completely necessary with what Homeworld was doing to the planet. I'm not claiming that she wasn't impulsive and often immature but I tend to think that her motives were generally pure.

I'm expecting Jasper coming back, starting to freak out and Steven asking her to fuse with him. Since she likely wouldn't believe him any other way about being the third incarnation of Pink Diamond or sort.
I think we will definitely see Bismuth in the Heart of the Crystal gem special because of a DVD of the special for pre-order on Amazon. It includes the five episodes of the special and four extra episodes. The other four episodes that are included are, Bismuth, Mindful Education, The Trial, and A Single Pale Rose. Because these episodes are included in the DVD of the special, they must play some part in it.

Since garnet doesn't exist anymore she is not fuse anymore because garnet was a vice leader there like the second strong crystal gem so since garnet as the fastest and strongest and smart so thats why she is the vice leader of crystal gem but since she doesn't exist and a because the partner of the fuse garnet run away so bismuth will be the strong muscle for now so she will be the vide leader of the crystal gem.
It will be great for bismuth to come back into the series...
But considering that she hates the diamonds and with Steven technically being pink diamond...
