Positivi-Tea is my fave. Last year some friends and I had a high tea with our dogs for mother's day. We dressed in cute hats and dresses and had a meal and tea at a fancy restaurant on thier outdoor patio.
If i could go anywhere i would go visit my mom in the next state over.

I love this series! You have so many fun and clever ideas with such variety. Hard to pick a fav from this batch but I sure do love to see you bring out that golden jewel of a marker! So the figures and golden embellishments were probably a fav as well as those dreamy gouache landscapes.
I think that you should do a "greatest hits" of your sketchbook ideas. Like you favorite ideas and revisit the art
You mentioned that rainbows were popular in nursery's... was that a hint for something??? Anyway these are really fun ideas once again! I loved the idea of "mini paintings". Because sometimes trying to paint a whole page in a sketchbook, or a canvas. Just seems a little overwhelming. I also loved your videos when you painted really tiny 1 inch paintings too. Those were so adorable and great! 💖💖💖

When you started painting the beach I was thinking "let's go to the beach-each let's go get away" 😂 I would wanna go to the Bahamas

My dream destination? If I had loads of money, wasn't terrified of flying, and didn't have cats and dogs, I'd go to Switzerland. Ever since reading Heidi as a child I've fallen in love with the thought of endless views of mountains and chalets and goats and cheese and chocolate and crisp clean air... ahhhh. England, France and Scotland are also top of the list.
Why wouldn't you want cats and dogs?
@@sierrapalmer7347 Because I couldn't take them with me and I'd worry about them being properly cared for back at home. I worry about my pets. A lot. (5 cats, 2 dogs).

Maybe next time you can make a 3 part video for your sketchbook tour. For example, the first one could be for beginners, the second one for intermediate, and the third for advanced artists so there is something specific for each skill level. I just thought this would be a good idea and something a little different than your usual sketchbook tours. Also I would want to travel to Costa Rica! You could separate it into 3 different videos.

Dream destinations Japan, for cherry blossom season, and to visit their stunning landscapes, and gigantic art stores. Also anywhere in Africa. However right now I wish I was going to Scotland, where I would have been next week, visiting friends. Alas I can't even leave my county due to local lockdown.

Yes! I love tea parties! I was a nanny for 2 toddlers and I used tea parties to teach table manners, turn taking, sharing 'setting the table' chores. It's been 8 years and they still love a good tea party. In summer I make iced mint tea. It's very nice and cooling. We have different treats, tiny sandwiches. Special 'appetizer sized' serving utensils. Sometimes we dress up, do it outside if the weather is nice, invite a friend (not so much w/ the last year of social distancing).
I think the most expensive gift that she can give is...

You saved the day Mira! I was in the car (big surprise lol) and I was sitting in the backseat with my nephew. We got stuck in traffic and your video kept him from losing his mind. My favorite is the ABC one.

I love mini paintings! You don't have to add as much detail as a full blown artwork, and you can even use them as a thumbnail if you really like the concept. It's far less overwhelming as a giant blank page.
If I could go anywhere, I would probably visit my hometown in Iowa. It may be a small place, but I still have some friends there, and many good memories.
I would go on a trip all over Europe like France, Paris, Italy, and England. 😁
Sorry to burst your bubble, but Paris is in France... if you're naming countries you'd like to visit, leave cities out of it. It's very weird for an European, it just looks wrong.

Ooh I LOVE having tea with my friends and family too. I agree with you that having tea with someone is special. I also find it super stress relieving. Also I am loving those beach scenes!

My dream location to visit is a road trip through different USA states, ending in Orlando. Sadly a dream I can never follow because I’m not allowed to take a long 10h flight. So next on top is Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Just seeing Scandinavia, the fjords in Norway northern lights etc
I’m currently finishing a painting for the Arteza Contest, and a big abstract painting for a Belgian contest which I only have left a few days to finish. Thx for having some stress relief before going to bed 💋

I would spend a week in the woods in a fancy wooden cabin. And a long weekend with tons of spa treatments. DAILY MASSAGE with hot stones. I'm easy.

Oh my goodness - I painted a beach in my sketchbook this week because I’ve broken my foot & cant drive myself anywhere pretty. I’m a total beach baby & miss getting to the coast. I used washi tape to make the page look like a window frame (because looking out my own window atm is looking at houses).

Miranda, These are such great projects. It's so gratifying to watch your channel and know that there are basic skills I can apply to make something worth seeing. BTW, you coloured a coffee cup, as it has a flat bottom. Tea cups have a raised base, like a tiny stem. I think David's Teas (company) makes blends with names like Positivi-tea, Immuni-tea, Sereni-tea. I may be spelling those wrong but they have a wonderful aroma and taste. Enjoying your channel immensely. Thank you.

They can! But for a baseball cap, I would recommend using FABRIC paint pens, if you're going to be washing it....

Mira, I have been thinking about getting some gouche and I just don’t really know what the difference looks s between them and acrylic paint?

Think of them as opaque watercolours. It's a different medium from both, and it may take a while to get the hang on - no water, a little water, loads of water, reactivating it or not. It's also easier to blend than acrylic paint, and it takes a little longer to dry.

Drawing people is something I probably don’t practice enough I just kind of dive in! Haha! I think it’s because I’m a cartoonist, I have an overly stylistic approach to them and I feel a bit stuck in that style 😅
