Is it just me or have the Saffas have gone full on crazy with the attention they're giving us. Feels weird but I suppose the Irish players should take it as a compliment. They never used to get excited about our visits.
I suppose if I had to really think about it the feeling after the All Blacks beat Ireland was Ireland saying well we beat the Boks who beat NZ twice on a different day we would've won the WC. Our last two losses were without Pollard. Want to set the record straight. And there's always been niggle as far back as 2006.

Completely negligent ref call that they missed the ball getting kicked out the ruck which led to the Irish try. Ireland played very well this game but also extremely lucky with the officiating.

Curious decision by the ref not to yellow card Peter Steph Du Toit at the same time as Cheslin Kolbe for that tackle on Mack Hansen. Completely Negligent, as you so tactfully put it.

I may be incorrect but I believe you are allowed to kick the ball at the ruck as long as you weren't off your feet yet. But even then a slight forward pass to Bealham in that passage but no point looking at these things in minutae- overall the ref had a decent game and we had our opportunities.
@@anotherstormer No, you are not allowed to kick a balll out of a ruck and he was on his feet by the way. De Allende did the exact same thing towards the end of the game but the ref then gave a penalty to Ireland.
Do Ireland have the ability to be the best team in the world...sure...have they EVER shown it when it really mattered...no. That's the difference between a great team and the the best team. Good luck to them & the Boks.
