Pike National Forest Road 211C - COLORADO OFFROAD

Forest Service Road 211C in the Pike National Forest is a short but fun trail that climbs a ridge and ends at a beautiful campsite with a great view of Pikes Peak (14,115'). I'd recommend a high clearance 4WD vehicle to drive this one because there are some deep ruts, a few rocks and exposed tree roots to get over, and a few mud pits that stay muddy for most of the year. This trail is a great add-on if you are taking Goose Creek Road (FR211) to the China Wall trail. It's short, but it's one of my favorite trails in this area of Colorado.

It's a side road off of FR211 - Goose Creek Road near Lake George, Colorado. 211 runs from Deckers to Lake George.
