add small blades to the rear drive shaft, once around, prop like near the rear diff to get more push when in the water, as for steering a small plate on the inside of the steering knuckle facing down , covering the inside of the steering wheels downwards, steering but not rotating works well.. bit like an inside lower wheel cover

Use a flat disk (small enough to fit inside the wheel arc) on a wheel rim on the front axel, that'll might work as both rudder and a spacer. Just be sure to have some distance between the disk and the toys. Might also add a paddle wheel for...eh..traction?

I love my blackzon turbo mt so much I put a 60amp quickrun esc and abisma radio set..omg this thing is now super amazing...that's why I call it my "Super Turbo " it cashed head to head with my maverick Quantum MT flux...Blackzon won...no damage ..but bent shock rod on Maverick quantum flux .I used 2200mah 50c 3s...what a stable power house

The chickens squawking on landing was hilarious. I've seen it as a prank on a fullsize vehicle, but try ziptieing a harmonica or kazoo to a fast car and seeing if it will make noise.
Build one of those fan boats they have in Florida.

I run the dog toys on my crawler from time to time ever since I seen your first science video, people get a kick out of it lol... I was wondering about trying pool noodles on each wheel and maybe some plastic pieces glued to make paddles?! Hehe just an idea for a future video?

Pool noodles make fantastic drift tyres on polished floors and actually grip pretty well on asphalt. I used them for test tyres when doing a modern electronics upgrade on a busted Taiyo Jet Hopper.

So weird that offspring song just came into my head a few hours ago. Where is my foil hat. I had the idea for the scooter wheels about 20 years ago on my nitro savage. I dont think i ever did it.

i was thinking of making a go kart a few days ago with scooter and stroller wheels as go kart wheels cost alot and they can get punctured

Take one nitro car and add as many chicken heads with the sound making bit as you can onto the exhaust.

Just a question has anyone tried those scooter wheels for a speed run? I have a feeling they hold up better than all the other foam tires everyone keeps blowing off.
If they can been mounted more securely on the hex, they may hold up to a little speed for sure
@@TomleyRC M2c make hex adapters with six bolt pattern you drill through your self they provide the drill bit and adapter with the kit.

TRX6 middle axle on the rear would give you a sort of PTO to drive a propeller. Being portals, they might provide better ground clearance for it and should spin at the same speed as the transmission output, I think.
You should try locking the shocks full extension.
It would help steering angle and possibly rear sag in the water.
Not sure about the sag part, but logically.. who knows!

I haven't played with my rc cars since the early 90s. Tyco highjacker Lamborghini truck hybrid before it was even a thing. It ripped. Another i remember was the Harley Davidson f150 pick up tyco also i think. Toys r us was the only place to get this kinda stuff or kb toys

Alternatively, enormous wheels on tiny car, what will happen? Also, something incredibly silly and taking the concept of kitbashing to RC trucks with putting an RC excavator top on a crawler for shenanigan reasons.

I'm surprised MR Talbot hasn't tried scooter wheels on his speed run car yet, seems like they could work.
When I was a kid with my Traxxas Cat, I wanted to drive it in the snow, but the stock rear tires were bald from the massive power that 540 Mabuchi motor put out! My dad used to ice race motorcycles and had hex screw studs in his tires. I didn't have any lugs to put screws in, so I improvised and put thumbtacks from the inside of the tire with the spikes out. I put duct tape on the inside to keep them in place. I had a set of plastic skis from a building set I had, so I rigged up a way to mount them to the front. It went great on ice, but steering with flat plastic bottom skis wasn't that great. The only "science-y" thing I have done since was putting motion activated lights for a bicycle on my and my son's trucks so when they would bounce around or jump the lights would flash.
Awesome video, it made me laugh (the chickens) it made rock (the offspring) and i learned something i guess.
Also make a 1/10 crawler into a speedboat for part 3
The car on scooter wheels reminds me of the time chris harris from top gear (before he joined) years ago put 4 space savers on a AMG Mercedes. And was drifting it. 😂😂 its a great video.

Cool video as always. I have an idea!!! Just typing my immediate thoughts...not having done any research but I've done a couple of TT02 drift cars using the one way diff on the front, which is awesome. My idea here is to see if one way bearings are available in the scooter wheel size, bush up the front axles to be a really tight fit , maybe even use some loctite to secure really tight on the inner race and go drift with scooter wheels on a 4wd park basher!! Getting traction to the inner race would be tricky but if it could be done it would perhaps be a good performer on those half pipes.
I really like the scooter wheels. It seems like it drove really smooth and jumped very well. It wasn't bouncy and all over the place like I thought it would do.

I guess I’m a little biased I own 3 sendero’s the most capable crawler for $250 and one of the most versatile. A few up grades and it can be a really good crawler(XF transmission is awesome)

Fun video! An idea I've been thinking of is putting wheels on a rocket. Want to start with a B- engine rocket build - then add steering and down force 😂
Or modify a small rc boat into a rocket.
A Rocket strapped to a rc don't seem to work out too good!

I tried gluing siren whistles to a basher in one of my old videos but couldnt get enough speed to make noise. probably need to build some sort of scoop or intake to direct the airflow.

If you had tried Powerslide g13 F2 or F3 (f rating is for softness, so 00 is hardest whereas 3 is softest) you would really see what inline skate wheels are capable of. The grip of those wheels are sick.
I hope your using an FM radio cos if the RX goes under water youll loose signal with a 2.4Ghz system.

i used to think roller blade wheels could work on a speed run car but i guess at 150mph + centrifugal forces will tear it off the wheel (centripetal?, idc)

Those chickens.. reminded me of a video, of 4 guys in an empty room. 3 of them had those chickens strapped to the soles of their feet. the 4th was blind folded and had for what looked like all intense purposes leather belt. And he was swiping the air with the belt and the guys where trying to get away but those chickens made the squawking noise that alerted the blindfolded belt wielder to the direction. I laughed so hard at that video. All you needed was a pack of puppies giving chase.

I'd like to see some of the best high quality soft europhane or soft polyurethane skate board wheels like from the 80's on a a high quality RC 🤔 .
