Good call with the torque arms & the padding under the battery - needed doing 👍. I did the same on my build a year or so back, by using the teardrop part of the $hitty torque arm kits you can buy...bought 2 of them they were $hite, so i sorted it properly by using the small "teardrop' shaped part of the torque arms - pretty much the exact same as in your vid... It's soooo much more reassuring when out riding 'cos you know there's zero chance the rear wheel can force itself free of the axle joints. 👍 Nice build fellow e-builder.⚡🚴
One aspect I love about e-bikes is that they are so modular, like a computer. It's easy to swap out parts and build exactly what you need. I wonder if the overall weight difference is from the old stealth bomber frame. You should do a top speed and range test. Then eventually, get a fatter rim for the rear.
Not necessarily that modular I am finding. I have the Hidoes B6 version of this and trying to find options to swap out the fork. I’m surprised at the lack of options. The head tube is a lot narrower than what it needs to be to take higher quality more robust dual crown forks. Even the rear shock is not a straight forward swap.
Very nice video dude. I have been following you for a while and your recent content make your channel really fresh. I hope you keep posting regularly. Also one thing to mention, at 5:58, you wrongly installed the 180mm disc adapter for the brake which make the brake caliper too high on the disc and reduce it's disc friction due to its position. Setting this correctly might improve braking a bit 👍
I’m gonna try to do a new project at least every mont, Evan if it means building go carts or electric cars. Doing the enduro e-bike videos gets boring when there is nothing left to say about it lol. I’ll adjust my brakes more also.
It will be months before I have all the pieces because I have bills too. Got the second biggest piece. Conversion kit. Biggest is battery. My build might not be as cheap as yours but it will be cheaper than a Sur Ron and very stable and pretty with matching front wheel. Bought a frame and fork alone instead of an entire bike for it.
Interesting video, enjoyed the upgrades part. I'm waiting on delivery of the Hidoes B6 over in the UK, which looks to be the same bike, with a different name. Keep up the good work.
I'm waiting for this video to come up BTW since the first comment I've been subscribed so honestly with how you explain stuff it makes it a little easier to figure stuff out and be able to find the right parts
I like the look and geometry of these type of frames, this frame is very similar to a Ghost Cat frame or a Raev Bullet Gt frame but those frames to me look way better than these Amazon type budget e-bikes frames
I think hiding the torque arms on the inside looks clean as all hell despite the very terrifying methods which were used to implement them. I'd probably do the exact same.
Personally I like leaving some wires loose. I figure the more hazardous it looks, the less likely someone will try to steal or tamper with it. Or it could just be because I'm lazy. You pick, lol.
100% Agree, exposed wires are like tempting fate for potential attacks from anyone who has a passionate E-build dislike...And you do get those phuckers too..@@Motoxrides
I hit one of those wires driving my Rhino. Thankfully I was protected, though it did do some damage. I called the Sheriff dept and had that handled very quickly. That is a liability issue with the property owners, regardless if you are trespassing or not, they are completely liable.
Thinkin bout buying this bike and doing a custom. You went crazy for this build. Only thing im wondering is a seat upgrade to a more pitbike style. Windone seams to have their seat already built into the frame and you can only remove the cover. Any way to make it more motostyle with how they constructed it? Like sharper more pointed behind the tail light?
Did you have any issue swapping out the forks? I have the Hidoes version of this (I think frame is slightly dif and steel). I was hoping to add a quality brand name like KKE but not sure if it’s even possible? What are your thoughts?
This bike is awesome also Richard needs to understand every state is different anything over 750 you can't ride on the sidewalk of course however if said bike can still be moved using the pedals to pedal you actually don't need a license but however there's other restrictions you still have to abide by certain trails you can't ride on at 1500w or more and while on the street you'll have to stay in the farthest right lane unless needing to make a left turn you also have to have a regular light on the front as for the back a red reflective or red light is needed blinkers are best and of course don't forget the blinker fluid and also MOST state as well as city laws have these rules NOT ALL and also federal guidelines dictate that bicycles can NOT be on highway roads Of course these are the restrictions that my city and state both follow and as long as i don't bother anyone or bring attention to myself the cops don't give a rats arse

I love you man this made my day great freaking video
No problem man glad you liked it

That particular frame is the beefiest there is. I bet it is much more heavier, but also durable.

Hell yeah! This bike looks really professional now, no hate just didnt wanna see you go up in flames at 40+ mph 😅
Thanks 🙏
I just ordered the conversion kit for mine today. Looking forward to it. My bike that I will use is more like the other bike you used this motor on.
Awesome keep me updated Chris

I just sent you an email with details on my Ebike build using this system. NBpower hasn't been writing me back much.
Where do you get a conversion kit
@@ChrisBFergusonwhere did you get just frame and fork?

Cool. Very close to my build. I got a new hub and batteries coming. New suspension next month.
What I'd like to see is you put another 72v 48ah battery on the bike, looks like you can fit one under the seat, that'd be amazing
Brooooo thatssssss wildddd
Love the build keep up the good work. Where did you get the frame?
It’s a windone e2 e-bike frame
@@ENDOPRYSMyt unfortunately I don't think they ship to the UK 😭, would love to do a similar build with a cyc mid drive
If not the Hidoes B6 might ship to UK same frame in red possible a better controller.
@@Bishoptunnelvisionvlogs thanks will check it out
Damnnn I was thinking about doing this but somebody did it before me

A pioneer in the field of electric energy. This is very good. I want to ask about battery life. That is, how much time is consumed in a normal state❤
Personally I like leaving some wires loose. I figure the more hazardous it looks, the less likely someone will try to steal or tamper with it. Or it could just be because I'm lazy. You pick, lol.
If there is visible wires vandalism is a thing, happened to my electric scooter, cables got cut so had to walk home
Simple I just don’t leave mine outside. If I’m away from home it doesn’t leave my sight. I have a car if I need to be somewhere.
@@Motoxrides It was a joke hence the "lol" at the end.
@@ENDOPRYSMyt I'm unemployed, disabled and don't have a car. Anything else goes wrong for me and going to start calling myself lucky.

I have the same e bike but could you tell me the specs on the fork and the rear shock I need to upgrade the suspension ❤❤
I have no torque arms on mine, but my swing arm is made of steel, there's no wear whatsoever on the dropout.
Ur goated my guy

Foot pegs?👀
There’s always going too be someone mad about you riding a non legal bike on the roads 😂
Whats the range on a full charge
Not sure with this battery probably about 50 miles or so.
What top speed have you reached?
Bro i got this same bike, if you ever selling the upgrades lmk ill take them off your hands
You should put a weider tire on the back
Ok but clean up those wires
Nah bro, nice video
