I like the silver wheels better. Very relaxing watching you enjoying what you love. From one auto enthusiast to another. Excellent!!! Whoever buys a car from you is in for as close to a new car as possible. Not to say you will ever sell it. Thanks again
Thank you. Cars this age are never perfect but i try and make them as good as possible on the budget i have. I will sell it one day but i still have a few restoration projects on it, and a bunch of different tests i would like to do first. Then hopefully i will have the money for a e36 or e39 so i wont have to sell it to fund the next project And thank you for watching and the kind worss. Takes an enthusiast to know i i see😃
Hell yeaa, the silver goes much better with the black car! Another great video dude. I think oem/clear corner lights and side indicators would make it look even cleaner, matching your tail lights. I switched back to those as well on my black 330Ci.
Nice work, If I can make a recommendation, I think that with the new color of rims, with the front indicators, wing indicators, and original trunk lights, it would look much better Thank you for the content, from an e46 ci owner
I just watched one of your video last week, but from there I've been watching all the videos just to show my support. Not a lot of people put these kind of efforts. Looking forward for such amazing content 😊❤
I agree, the silver wheels are a nice contrast. When I see gunmetal wheels on a black car, my mind interprets that as really really dirty wheels. LOL 😛
Wax on, wax off... Mr miyagi knew his shit ^^ Been doing this since birth, and i have never got a loss against machine work vs my hands and patience & knowledge, nice car mate! Love these bigger e46's think im subbing, love that you put in some work and a eye for details 👌 / you'll never get a second chance for a first imression, so do it well, and you only have to do it once...SoOo- Swedish oldschool Oldggezer out ✌️and yeah, i get it, it's your daily, so Machine work is fine, i agree isch 😅
Im gonna experiment with wheels and tires (staggered vs square vs weight etc) for the next video. I only meed to find some good 18” which wont ruin me too much lol
@OEMplusRESTO some stock side markers would open it even more in my opinion. I went for orange ones with the facelift inner boot reflectors. Looks very clean. I'll send photos
Fantastisk arbejde Tim. Er sikker på selvom det ser rigtigt godt ud på video, må det se endnu bedre ud i virkeligheden. Forresten så klær den med sølv-metallic fælge, ser elegant og klassisk ud.
Thanks. But wouldnt the 18” m3 sit too far out? Ive been looking into doing whatever experiments i can with the wheels i have but a set og 18” to test agains would make it alot better
@@OEMplusRESTO many of my friends have normal e46 coupe and have the 18inch wheels on them the m3 ones i dont remeber the tire sizes tho i think 225/40/18 and 245/40/18 basically you put one size smaller tire in the back to not to rub but you can also roll the fenders inside and it looks amazing without any issues at all
Very nice restoration, I restored mine too, it's a 325Ci 2002, also Black Sapphire Metallic. How much oil does yours consume ( mine is 1L/3000km ) ? Or is it oil consumption free ?
Thank you. Id love to see it. Best color too imp. I honestly dont know as i havent noticed any oil consumption. But i dont really drive the car besides for testing parts and all the resto works which means i change oil way too often. I think i have maybe a 1000-2000km at most on the current oil. But, since that oil change it hasnt used any measureable oil level
I rarely drive it much. I have done maybe 1-2k km since the overhaul but so far so good. I think there are better products out there though. The hmmerite is just sold everywhere adm reasonably cheap too.
Do not listen to these so called recommendations , the car is perfect the way it is. No new headlights, spoilers ,back hat or similar BS. Silver rims look better (the car is totally cleaned and polished) compared to the black one (which they are not) However, your Chrome window trims are now black , for silver rims, chrome window trims look better. Anyway, the car looks absolutely fabulous. I would drive it only during the summer . Congratulations
You really did a good job! However, the music is kind of sad, it feels like I'm watching a funeral and also the music quality seems poor. Nonetheless, it's still a great video !
Is that 475 Black Sapphire? I got a 325 with just 103k km. M package with M Styling 72 MV rims. My car looks good but MAN... Your car is basiclly factory state. Congratulations. Its beautiful and it was a pleasure watching your vids. What front emblen did you buy? I need a new one - BMW wants 65 bugs for it.
Thank you. That means alot to me. Always nice when a fellow e46 enjoyer appreciates the work. Sapphire black yes. Love the color. Was searching for your wheels recently but didnt manage to find them i good shape at a price i could afford sadly. I bought the bmw one yes. Quite pricy for what it id
@@OEMplusRESTO I thought so. No knock offs then. It is what it is. New emblem, new original shift knob and I ll touch up the leather on the steering wheel with a Ledermax 2 stage repair kit - it will be as good as new then. @daniel27560 thank you. The previous owner installed a facelift 6speed and a 3.38 diff too. Also, the interior is from an m3. I bought it as quick as i possible when it popped up on fb marketplace almost 2 years ago by now. What mods have you done?
@OEMplusRESTO catless headers, cold air intake polyurethane control arms bushings a 3.42 diff with a raceing diffs locker and godspeed lowering springs I had coilovers but they were too stiff. I need to do a dual Vanoss rebuild that's next for it
@@daniel27560 Clubsport is a UK only spec(i think it might have been in other european countries too but its very very rare), its not the same as a ZHP. The clubsport is just a 330i with slight weight reduction(this being the sound deadening), a unique spoiler, wheels and front splitter(these are only found on clubsport cars). ZHP is only a US spec, but equivalent ones in europe would just be the "m sport" at least design wise. ZHP has some engine upgrades to give it more hp than a regular 330. However european 330is have more HP than american ones from factory, 225 (or 228?) vs 231 but the ZHP is upgraded to 235 hp.

i have to agree that the silver wheels look better on a black car, great results after the hard work
Silver wheels for sure….but now change the front corner lights and side markers to OEM clear imo.
I could try and experiment with various lights and wheels perhaps
Keep the wheels. They are classic BMW style #68 silver. Your work, especially on the underside, was inspiring. Beautiful job.
This guy listened to his paint! Great work , great videos.
The silver wheels look so much better. They make the car look more classy and gives it more presents. Great video, good job and well done.
Thank you. And i agree on the wheels💪
Your 3 looks amazing after, also mich better with silver wheels instead of gunmetal. 👍👍👍
Thank you. I really feel they make the car look sharper👌

insane care has been done on this car, Great Job!
Great Video, I love your channel! The silver wheels look better, they fit better to the OEM look and appear bigger due to the brighter color
Thank you. Im really tempted to buy the 135’s and do some testing. Those wheels look even better imo but being 18” they are alot heavier too
def prefer the silver wheels. Not the biggest fan of red calipers tho, just keep them silver or black imo :D but looks amazing now.

Lol thats a good point.

Brilliant resto. Am tempted to do one myself. Btw, Silver wheels look great on this black car.
Thank you. Silver wheels really do look good on black cars. Next video will have some 18” silver wheels installed
Wow, amazing glow up!
I actually was hoping you pick some styling 163-looking wheels, but silver was definetely the right choice!
Next video i might have some for testing staggered/square/wheelweight-vs-acceleration etc.
