    Definitely install multiple balance tubes between pipes. Maybe test the sound of the brass with dimples in it different sizes & arrangements like a golf ball. However not sure how to dimple inside the pipe vs. exterior. Also, see I you can duplicate HKS Turbo Tip technology with a double wall tip with internal slits & large radius slit openings in the rear that I believe work on a venturi Bernoulli principle. The Japanese HKS engineers said their concept is of an Owls feather which creates a 2db sound reduction & might be an interesting combo in bràss!🤔 I think a smaller brass tube would give a better more tuned exhaust note. Maybe we can get that Lexus LFA or Porsche Carrera GT exotic sound for all our project cars!😋

    I had Eibach Pro Kit springs installed today on my 2023 Scatpack Widebody. It looks very nice compared to stock. The ride home was in sport and track modes. Sport felt firmer, yet forgiving. Track was definitely stiffer, but that's because of the shock absorbers changing their compression and rebound based on mode. The car is lower, looks much better, and best of all, the immediate acceleration from red light stop feels more aggressive. There's less "squat before acceleration" with the new springs. That old squat with the OEM springs is gone. This for me is one of the best reasons to get new springs. My camber is less than 2 degrees all around. I can get a camber kit if I want, but will see how the tires last with this setup.

    • @OEMplusRESTO
      @OEMplusRESTO 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Sounds like you made a good decision on the springs. Amazing what springs can do on their own. Im a big fan of eibach springs by now. Lowered. But nog too low either

    Can you try like a "bazooka" shaped tailpipe? So basically, the pipe would start off at two or three inches and then gradually get larger as it goes until it reaches a 3 or 4 inch diameter and then gradually go back down in diameter to 3.50 inches or so. So, it would be cone shaped growing in diameter toward the exhaust exit tip and then go back down in diameter again. Perhaps make one out of brass and one of steel. Perhaps make another set, with this set change the shape as being exactly like a traffic cone. Small at one end and bigger on the other. And then for the 3rd set, sort of a combination of the two? I would like to see the results... I'm sure there would be some changes in sound and volume? Set 1: Set 2: Set 3: / \ ll / \ l l l l / \ \ / l l l l l l l l \ / l l \ /

    Dancing is due to the fact B4 is meant for stock springs...B8 for lowered springs.....so his B4 install was not using the shocks in the operational domain - when people do that to any shock durability is also hurt. The B4's actually may last longer than the B6/8 IF installed properly....meaning not lowered. Probably the same. B4s on my oem car are now at 70k and doing great - master mechanic expects 120kish (miles). .....so the poster saying they last 20k miles....not sure why, but not true that they die early - maybe installation was not proper OR the car is lowered out of the B4 operational range.... The B6 and B8 are the same save length. On his springs, neither the B4 nor B6 was proper...so this is a well intentioned but completely flawed video given the above. He need to use stock springs and b4's to do a test properly to compare things. OEM ride is underrated...people think lower is always better.....not always.

The ride was 68000km Sturt is soft, but if you put a hard spring on it, the matching will not be good But if rolling cornering improves, I'd very much like to buy it 1. oem stock spring - because of the really good memories when my car was new 2. rs-r half flower spring - sold a lot in the United States 3. eibach pro-kit - best suited for 2rd genis250 4. tanabe- soft spring

      Hi. Hammerite binds better on surfaxe rust than anytbing else. So if you really want it to stick, then just remove the loose scales and dirt from tve rust and paint it directly. More durable than sanding everything down, making all surfacea smooth, and then painting. Foe that kind of surfacea i find hammerite to be decent but not good

    Hi! How did you do with the catalytic 02 sensors? I find it that my orginal sensor cable is to short, are there any replacmet? or did you just extend the cable?

      Hi. I didnt hook them up. Like you i found them top short. The interwebs and schmiedman say they will reach, and i tried. But i just could t get them to reach Beware though. Not many people know this but bmw uses the cat control (rear sensorts) to adjust the fueling parameters. So the check engine light is not the only thing youll face not using the rear sensors. The fuel mileage will suffer too

      @ Okey, Thank you, I will try to extend the cable to get them to fit, We all like a good fuel mileage :)

      Thats the issue i battlef myself. I feel for you. Its so har finding oe mtech2 springs that actually lower the car enough. Mostly in the front. The e90 325ix top mounts will give you 8-10mm lowering too but still its not quite enough
