I really respect the fact that your prepared with routine, getting the fish back in the water as quick as possible. Some people don't really understand what human contact can do to a fish after being released and the trauma that the fish can receive during the time out of the water. Not all fish that swim away live. Good on you for increasing the chances that they do. Catch And release Like pro- HOOK SET FOR LIFE brother
These pike videos are absolutely the best thing on TH-cam. You are on top right now man. You continue to impress with every video. Keep em coming. Was sad when you said this would be the last pike vid for a while.
Your videos keep getting better and better! I have never seen better underwater footage, and I always seem to learn something new from watching. Thanks Clayton!
Love pike fishing using the iFish Pro. Maybe one suggestion, have a bucket with all your landing gear ready. Take it or leave it for what it is, but we've done this and it's way more convenient and efficient.
I always come back to this video once in a while, definitely my favorite video of yours you have on your channel. I'm also a big fan of the background music with the fish on the camera milling around the bait!
Thank you for the pike content and the tips about the wire. Really appreciate anything you're willing to share with us! Personally I'd be curious as summer rolls around, to learn how you break down an area looking for pike
Hey Clayton, thanks for another great video! Would you ever consider doing a cooking special? Not just fish but possibly game meat as well, I'm sure you have some good tips for some delicious meals. If you asked everyone else, I'm sure they would back me on this one. Once again, thanks for all the work and care you're putting into these videos, really enjoy them.
Nice fishes!!! Sad day for me today, it was my last day of ice fishing. Now I have to live vicariously through your videos, so hopefully there are still lots to come.
Claymaker.....awesome underwater footage!! Really appreciate how well you take care of the fish and educate us about it! Have u considered adding an underwater camera at the livewell release hole? I think that would be cool. Just what u want to deal with, another camera setup, right?!! God bless.
Clayton if you don't already, you should make merch (I know u already do) that says "WHAT A DAY"!!!! Someone let me know if it already exists if anyone knows? Thx in advance😉🤓 Love this channel. It's so fun yet relaxing. Great day👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🐟🐟✌🏼️✌🏼
Love the live well idea ! Your videos are awesome keep them coming !! I drive truck for a living and don't get out fishin as much as I want, so you're my source for the ice addiction !!
Hey Clayton, speak to Jay about buying forceps to us as pliers so you can attach them to your jacket or shirt so they are with you all the time.. So enjoy seeing how the fish react to bates and the time they take before eating. Keep putting up these great videos. tightlines.
Cisco are really part of the whitefish family. Herring are found in the saltwater but many mistaken Cisco for herring. Here in Alaska we get herring in the ocean and we get Cisco in the lakes and rivers. Nice vids there Clayton keep em coming. From a dedicated subscriber in Alaska.
Thanks for another wonderful vid! I appreciate all the hard work you do with filming and all the editing . I have been playing with this a bit myself and it is a lot of work.( I’m a rookie!)👍👍👍
Great video Clayton, as always I loved tuning in. Glad I came across your channel this winter - professional knowledge paired up with quality content. Keep it up!
I have been having a hard time trying to keep my deadbait straight in the water and I will definitely be trying this knot. I also know you prefer fighting them on rod and reel but it would be cool to see you catch a huge laker on a traditional tip up
Awesome video! That 10 inch hole looked small with that 42 incher lol good job keeping that Pike that got wrapped up in your camera that happened to me and she broke off if it happens again I'll try what you did
Love your videos man! You should weigh the fish for us scandinavian fans, weight is more important than length in my humble opinion. Awesome fishing either way!
Perless lake has some monsters. and if you were over by BC, Gwilliam lake by tumbler ridge BC has some biggies. we pulled a 20 lb, 16 lb lunkers out in august.
OFT here But if you Kick Some Jasmine Rice in that Chowder when its about 10mins left you have a Smashing Dish ! Now il Continue look upon that there Pikes ! Best Regards Paul Roger - North Sweden
I need to go pike fishing but dunno if it’s worth trying with only 8” auger. Thanks for showing the knot for the wire it’s hard to find a good knot for it online.
Absolutely love these pike videos with the Aqua Vu’s. Fun to see the attack habits of pike. Clayton do use dead bait because you find the pike prefer that over an active target?
Awesome video! I really liked the evening time lapse with the clouds coming in. How do you catch fish of a life time, every time. I'm jealous. Was this video is SK or MB?
Another banger man! I was surprised to see you in Blaine Chocklett's "Game Changer" book. I'd love to see some Pike on the fly videos this spring/summer!! Cheers
Pike are awesome fish to fight with a jigging rod. I usually target walleye and use four inch suckers here in Michigan. I fish the very clear inland waters of Lake Michigan. What size trebble hooks would you recommend? Thank you.
hey Clayton me and my dad really like you and i was wondering if we can go fishing sometime we fish on last mountain lake Saskatchewan if you want can you reply
What type and weight of line are you using looks like nylon and I don’t look that heavy I normally use black nylon on my tips could I use it on the Tip up

The way you handle the fish so humanely is extremely admirable. Thank you for these fantastic videos!
Couldn't agree more.
I love these pike fishing videos of yours they’re very entertaining to watch, keep em coming!
So true
Watching overnight pike and walleye great stuff. Worked in media for 35 years and I know how hard this stuff is to do. Thank you!
Sure is a lot of work :) But I enjoy my work :) Cheers man
Have you considered keeping your pliers on your person at all times? Haha
cisco is a species of freshwater whitefish. they are lake herring.
These pike videos are absolutely the best thing on TH-cam. You are on top right now man. You continue to impress with every video. Keep em coming. Was sad when you said this would be the last pike vid for a while.
Great job untangling the line from the camera and keeping the fish pinned. Another awesome video Clayton.
Your videos keep getting better and better! I have never seen better underwater footage, and I always seem to learn something new from watching. Thanks Clayton!
Thank you for the kind words!!
Yup, I've made my decision. After following several anglers for over a year now, CSO is my favourite. Thanks for the fantastic content, Clayton!
Just got the popcorn out! Better than a movie!

You should lay a tape measure along the live well for quick size estimate even while it's in the live well!!
That is a great idea, I am pretty close when it comes to estimate size though :)
Agreed anyone can say a length... a tape don't lie
Another awesome video. Did you realize you had an UFO watching you untangle your camera from that huge pike? check it out at 31:45. 😀 LOL.
Hey Clayton, speak to Jay about buying forceps to us as pliers so you can attach them to your jacket or shirt so they are with you all the time.. So enjoy seeing how the fish react to bates and the time they take before eating. Keep putting up these great videos. tightlines.
Great video. Awesome big jack fish. Love the under water camera and seeing them grab that bait.
These pike videos are entertaining as hell!! Makes me almost want to go out and buy one of those underwatercams
It was really cool to see those eggs come out of that big female on the underwater camera!
Great video Clayton. As always!! My favorite TH-cam channel.

Underwater cameras are amazing

What brand of line do you use on all your rods? You fish outside a lot and it never seems to ice up!!
Love the pike vids
My man is the Winkelman of this generation. Minus the bankruptcy.
Looks like you fish real shallow for your pike ? Do people fish for musky also ? Never see any ice videos on them ?
