Partnering with Boeing was a huge mistake! I would worry about their descent. Entering the earth atmosphere is something I wouldn't trust Boeing being responsible for making it reliable.
Their play on words is hilarious. I guess they’ll admit stranded when it’s a life threatening situation even though their predicament clearly defines the word “stranded”
According to my dictionary, the word "stranded" has the following definitions: stranded adjective 1. left without the means to move from somewhere. "she offers a lift to a stranded commuter" 2. (of a boat, sailor, or sea creature) left aground on a shore. "a stranded whale" I would like to suggest a 3rd definition: 3. (of a spacecraft) left without the means to leave a space station, lunar or planetary base "Butch and Suni are stranded on the ISS, because the Boeing Starliner is an unsafe piece of rubbish"
@@HH-mw4sq it's a play of words, changing the narrative daily to keep the astronaut comfortable just like they say raising rhe temperature of water where the frogs are swimming.
@@HH-mw4sq The difficult part is the lack of real information from Boeing and NASA. The latest I heard was today was they now expect to return them at the end of July. They are running simulations with real equipment in the hope of replicating what happened when the Starliner made its first approach the the ISS. They treat the public as though they are totally ignorant and couldn't possible understand what is happening. Much of the US population is very well educated. It isn't surprising that people are expressing their frustration by saying rather nasty things about Boeing and NASA.
@donadams8345 - "end of July"? This is looking more and more like Gilligan's Island, the NASA edition. How a "3 hour tour" lasted several years. I hope Butch and Suni are being paid by the mile.
because a warehouse worker have found a box of bolts which are supposed to be installed on the capsule but still sitting on the shelf of a Boeing warehouse....😜😢
A week's mission has now become a month long, with no indication of a return date. Just how much time do the brains at NASA/Boeing need to analyze data? I presume the in-orbit tests themselves are now complete (hence the ground testing in NM), so they clearly no longer need to flight-test the service module. Why, therefore, not instruct the astronauts to return to earth? 'If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...!'
One of the problems is that Starliner is not going to land in the ocean. It's going to land on land. If something happens that they don't slow down enough they will smash down on the earth.
I just hope they come back safe, no matter when, no matter who rescue them. We know the Boeing is broken, we know even though everyone is putting a smile on their face, but NASA is in panic mode now.
Yes, enjoy the extended stay and million dollar views of planet earth, compliments of the American taxpayers, happy 4th of July, and hope you make it back home 🏡 safe and sound 😊
Saving the life of the astronauts first is more important than NASA trying to involved in a massive public relations exercise and downplay Starliner’s problems about learning from its setback while the astronauts is in a threatening situation in space. Is there any way to rescue Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore and bring them home safely!?!?
If I come out of the mall and my car is broke and Will not. Run I am Not stranded yet.I have 3 choices number one open the hood and fix the problem This is not an option for them.Number two wonder around the parking lot And see if I can find someone to help me fix my car. They can't do this either.Number three I can always call an uber to take me home... This is their only choice they need to call an elon.
Why are they farting around with the capsule. They say they think the astronauts will be returned safe. Are they serious? Why dont they just jettison this capsule into deep space forever and send a SpaceX recovery vehicle instead. There's no way in hell I'd climb back into that trashcan 😅

let them out of the Hollywood basement!!! If the Titan sub couldn't handle the intense pressure differentials of the depths of the ocean, how can the Boeing tin-can handle the intense pressure differentials of "space"?? even their airliners can only be pressurized to 8,000' (they can't maintain sea level pressures at 29.92 because they would burst, as the craft needs an atmospheric pressure to react against...( in space there is no atmospheric pressure))

NASA: We want to make this clear we are not stranded but we are stranded. 😂
They’re not stranded… just on an extended stay.
Absolute clowns ya I’m sure they are so happy to be at there air bnb extended stay literally
The thing is clearly broken.
Boeing does it again!
Oh, gee. It couldn't be broken, could it? It's just a planned delay.
Oops! I did it again!!
Definitely stranded, poor people

couldn't think or a better phrase "play on words" .
BECAUSE BOEING SUCKS (Again) and this shows we shouldn't Fly Boeing
If it is Boeing (to space), I ain't going !!
*(to anywhere)
According to my dictionary, the word "stranded" has the following definitions:
stranded
adjective
1. left without the means to move from somewhere.
"she offers a lift to a stranded commuter"
2. (of a boat, sailor, or sea creature) left aground on a shore.
"a stranded whale"
I would like to suggest a 3rd definition:
3. (of a spacecraft) left without the means to leave a space station, lunar or planetary base
"Butch and Suni are stranded on the ISS, because the Boeing Starliner is an unsafe piece of rubbish"
Are you sure that Butch and Suni are not abandoned instead of stranded?
@@donadams8345 - I wouldn't say abandoned because there are active efforts to return them.

This is one big expensive mess !! How many years in the works ?? Me as an astronaut would be calling SpaceX via Starlink , I need a lift home !!
Omg not the Elon fanboy all over the place 😂
I wouldnt even ride a mountain bike built by Boeing
the problems being understated and downplayed deliberately.
if no problems at all, they would have already been back home.
NASA and their bad news is good news spin 😂
because a warehouse worker have found a box of bolts which are supposed to be installed on the capsule but still sitting on the shelf of a Boeing warehouse....😜😢
Doesn't it alway happen that way.
At least at Boeing ...
His statement is inaccurate they found leaks before the launch, but they approved them saying they were insignificant
They discovered a whistleblower onboard and are figuring out a demise that won’t draw suspicion.
NASA is "studying the data" ...
A week's mission has now become a month long, with no indication of a return date. Just how much time do the brains at NASA/Boeing need to analyze data? It’s been renamed a Being 737 space capsule. It would be grounded except for the fact it’s not on planet earth.
I'm sure the astronauts will be making the most of their additional time up there to run plenty of worthwhile "experiments"
Nothing new that everyone else has already talked about.
My thoughts exactly
One of the problems is that Starliner is not going to land in the ocean. It's going to land on land. If something happens that they don't slow down enough they will smash down on the earth.
The internal battery is ticking down. when that is dead that capsule will be jettisoned
Extra-long booster cables will be the next 'solution'!
Look at the bright side... at least the door didn't fall off on the way up.
It could be ev3n brighter on the way down.
The Space Shuttle caused quit a glow!
Good enough for government work
I just hope they come back safe, no matter when, no matter who rescue them. We know the Boeing is broken, we know even though everyone is putting a smile on their face, but NASA is in panic mode now.
imagine the farts in that can
Boeing does not have the answer. That's why they can't give you the solution.
real reason, too dangerous.
Did Boeing make the space suits too????
Yes, enjoy the extended stay and million dollar views of planet earth, compliments of the American taxpayers, happy 4th of July, and hope you make it back home 🏡 safe and sound 😊
Lets call space X in. Is a shame for a company with that much of experience in aviation.
NASA isn't delaying the return....the two astronauts are saying we ain't getting back into that thing.
How embarrassing, NASA can't even return astronauts from low orbit!
Thankfully Space X can rescue them.
Boeing should forget about spaceships. Make a washing machine or something

OK. By now the Boeing capsule is cold soaked, what more could be learned?

NASA & SpaceX Dragon To Rescue Astronauts of Boeing's Starliner! No Comeback Stay In Space Forever
Five thrusters failed and one had failed permanently… Not four… Gaslighting lies
Imagine if these two Boeing astronauts were brought back by China🤣
Nasa and Boeing , just trying to understand...equal, we have no clue what is happening. 😂
will the astronauts be given complimentary hotel suite and meal vouchers due to the delay..
Wow, Boeing , and nasa, really are messed up right now.
Thank God for SpaceX!!
Because starliner is a Boeing Friday afternoon special!!😂😂😂
NASA is sending up a few tanks of helium and a can of fix-a-flat on a spacex flight.

😮 At this point just send an automated SpaceX Dragon to fetch them. 😕
Bring back the soap opera: As the world turns!”😮
The Boeing STRANDLINER
All tests were to be completed and passed before the launch.
So failure is an option these days ?
Definitely NOT Stranded
(Is stranded)
Send a rescue Dragon and dump that Starliner in the ocean

The truth will eventually come out
Every single turbulence incident this year was a Boeing plane, coincidence or just blame the climate
Look at Airbus 380 flight ek421 dec 23
Nasa is very special and spiritual
stuff like this never stands out to me, but this was a great analyst. Just the facts, kept things in perspective, and a good joke at the end.
For a "expert" he is wrong on alot. For 1 yes it was launched with known leaks... atleast know what you're talking about before getting on a interview
Iss trully on its last legs..
I’m not buying the PR spin from the Boeing suits. Load the next Starliner “test” flight full of Boeing executives.
That birds a dud ……….😊
I love Suni Williams' hair. She is super smart and super successful but she still has a crazy hair day. lol!
Sounds like BS
can't wait for space x to go get them LOL @Nasa
Bill Murray?
Rolls Royce never broke down either, they just failed to proceed. 😂
I pray they don't treat our people like lab monkeys 🤦🏿
He tried to make it sound so positive that they're stranded.
Boeing strikes again
Boeing, when you fly the deadly way.
It’s on Bill Nelson’s watch.
Bill is great
How funny it is when they probably won’t make it home on any us rocket bum a ride w another country I smell hogwash w what that clown said
Fake Chinese parts, procured by Indian contractor!
china china china😂
