I will love the eagles forever. The were the best of all times. My song Hotel California, I can't get tired of listen to it , I would say, the song of the century!
Correct me if I'm wrong but Felder's claimed that every member should get equal share to the original songs that were penned by Henley and Frey??? If this is true, I would have to side with Frey and Henley.
You're wrong. By your logic, Felder should have got one half of the shares to himself on the songs Hotel California and Victim of Love with Henley, Frey, Meisner and Walsh to split the other half. I am correcting you with your logic which is pretty lame and short sighted. Aloha.
@@Noosic, by my logic??? I said "penned by Henley and Frey". If Felder didn't pen and/or helped to write those songs that ONLY Henley and Frey wrote, why should Felder stake claim to those??? On those songs that he had a part of writing, I can understand Felder's claim.
Very good facts video about my favorite band of all time. But I did catch a few mistakes in this one. -First of all the Eagles first album came out in 1972, NOT 1971 -Secondly, Timothy B. Schmit was born in October, NOT November -Third, the eagles broke up in 1980, but it was indeed announced 2 years later in 1982 -Lastly, the Eagles didn't get back together until 1994, NOT 1990

He receives a salary from The Eagles, as does Timothy B. Schmidt, when they appear or tour; Frey/Henley received "the door" receipts. But, as you said, all of them are OK!
It*s nice to see how Deacon was singing with the remaining Eagles, in honor of his late father, it would be nice to hear him touring with the Eagles, playing their hits, & creating new music.

I have not read all the comments so perhaps someone mentioned this, but Glenn Frey did not write "The Heat Is On", he only sang and played on the recording.
Some important facts that was left out of this list: == Founder member Bernie Leadon wrote *all* the iconic music for Witchy Woman, which was Eagles third hit, and the first of their hits written entirely by the band (their first two hits were written by others). == Founder member Randy Meisner’s song Take It To The Limit was the first Eagles million seller. == In 1971 the four founding members (Leadon, Meisner, Frey and Henley) formed a legal entity called Eagles Inc, which equally divided amongst them all profits generated by the band (albums, concerts, royalties, memorabilia, etc). When Felder joined Eagles in 1974, he became the fifth member of Eagles Inc. Leadon and Meisner left and were replaced by Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit (in 1975 and 1977 respectively). Walsh and Schmit did NOT become members of Eagles Inc - they did not receive shares in the profits of the band, and they were paid to perform in the band, like session musicians instead of band members. Therefore the only 3 remaining members of Eagles Inc were Henley, Frey and Felder - and so Felder was legally entitled to his equal share of the profits from Eagles, and Frey and Henley were fraudulently helping themselves to greater shares than Felder was getting.

Great compilation. Although just a minor correction in # 58. The cover you have used is of "The Very Best of the Eagles" released in 1994, whereas I guess you intended to mention "Eagles: The Very Best Of" which was released in 2003. how can you leave out that Randy Meisner wrote their first number one ,"Take it to the limit
I did enjoy, but some "facts" were wrong like Timothy B. Schmits birthday, for one.
This is guy has his facts so screwed up !!! The First Eagles Album, " Eagles ' was released in June 1972.....NOT 1971 !!!!! I know that it has been already noted, HOWEVER who is this clown ??? JUNE, 1972 ...got it !
I had to watch this at x1.25 speed
seems like you found a really inaccurate Eagles history someplace and called it "Eagles Facts" like the "facts" are little-known things people would be surprised about. Why didn't you just make a really inaccurate Eagles History video?
Who would want Don Henley over Joe Walsh?
So what is a colita, exactly?
Colita is the Mexican word for a fart, when its warm smell rises up through the air.
@@ShazzPotz Surely they would not put this in their lyrics. I read it was a reference to smoking drugs.
@@treasurehunteruk9718
Yes you're right, they smoked Mexican marijuana and ate pot brownies, which caused farting, whose warm smell rose up through the air.
@@ShazzPotz Yukk! My stomach is churning, and I feel sick!
You dident mention Vince Gill
Please please can you do 107 EUROPE the band facts
What eactly caused the fight between Felder and Frey. I read s.th. about kinda disgreatefulnes oder dierespect of Felder concerning his behaviour to a senator or congressman
If Don Felder and Joe Walsh should get together after their split, again even once, that would be a global, enormous and huge sucess!! Even bigger than Eagles!!!
They are still friends. That's a pity!!!
I'm sure, they are not those vultures, as mentioned in the Shazzam Potzman comment below.
Chris Cornell, mic drop! Do it
More bands please 🤘🏼 🙂

I Love The Eagles, but they were NOT the best selling band of the 70's...! ZEPPELIN and FLOYD got those firmly in place. Number 1 fact..! 😢😢
