Hi ! I have learned a lot from you Mr Mike watching your videos. I have a question what tip size and what pressure would you recommend for semigloss sometimes i end up with marks on some doors.
I usually like a 3.13 for most stuff. Be sure to pressure out the fingers through the middle of the fan. but the fan edges might still show. Then make sure you are pretty far away. Usually 16 inches somewhere around there away from the surface. this will keep the fingers from showing. Too close is where you have issues.
Yea that is what we used on the deck. The solid acrylic stain or 100% acrylic flat holds up just fine up here. A bit thicker and covers better over the knots and old oil base paint underneath.
@@mattmaclennan5530 the guys bid it and it was way under market IMO. But it did not take much paint and it did not take very long. I forget the price. Should have been around 6500 or so.

I’m curious about Prime-Zall, google search says it’s water based epoxy. Is there a primer like that in paint stores in the Midwest?
Im not sure I dont think anyone makes anything that good. Its amazing.

they bid the job I think a little cheap. I would have been around 5900

Why not use solid color stain on the siding?

Was that oil primer used on bare spots ?
water based epoxy. New technology. like a water based product that turns to an oil when it dries.
what paint was used for the finish?
vista paint Acribond on the siding.
