Hi Kseniya, I have a quick question:
I started a process (DS-160) to invite my dad to my graduation, and I want to start filling out the I-130 form when he comes to the U.S.
Is it possible to begin the I-130 while he comes to the U.S. on a tourist visa?

Hello! I am naturalized citizen petitioning for my parents i130 and I 485. I am self employed with 1099 filed jointly with my wife. We had received RFE with notice in mail for I 864.for un sufficient funds and was updated online also.but later it got canceled online and we never received anything in mail that it got canceled. Now we are not sure do we still have to send the documents for that RFE. We would really appreciate any advice or to if it has happened to anyone and what you guys did on canceled RFE? Thank you

Thanks for the video... it was recommended by TH-cam because I've watched some of your other videos. I just filled out the I-130 for to sponsor my wife. Nowhere on the form does it talk about income. According to the table you showed, my income is above what is stated in the right column, for our family size. However, I am in a situation where I am not obligated to file taxes by law because I am on SSDI (it's been a few years, but I plan to file to "catch up" anyway). Should I include my income SSDI verification of income letter? Thanks to you or anyone else who can answer this? I am wanting to avoid any delays or extra forms. Take care.

Hi Kseniya hoping that you can answer my question. So i'am planning to petition my wife and 2 kids. I'am worried about my annual income. Because right now i'm living with my mom and stepfather. My plan is to file the i130 even im still here living with them and then move to a apartment after 1 or 2 years before they process my application and just change the address so that the household number is lower compare to the household number right now.

Hi Kseniya, thank you so much for your videos! They are so informative, specific and helpful. Can I please ask a question about the fee? USCIS considers a benefit request “received” on the date it is physically or electronically received. Is the received date the date that the package is delivered? I am going to mail my documents on March 15 and worry that whether USCIS will open my package after April 1 and charge me based on the new fee.

My wife is filing for her mom consular process, she did an AOS for me 2 years ago and is my Sponsor. We file taxes jointly and 2023 tax return was 64,000
For Sponsor’s Household size, should I only count # 3 and leave # 6 blank?
The fact we file jointly even though I am a Permanent Resident, will my portion of the 64,000 be accepted as part of the household income to make threshold of 5 (myself, wife, 2 kids and the pending mom case) ???

Hello! My fiance will be arriving here on a K1 visa probably either late this year 2024 or early next year 2025. If he arrives around March 2025, am I supposed to submit tax returns for the past 3 years or just the most recent one for 2024 and 2023 and 2022 by that time? If he arrives late 2024, am I supposed to submit previous 3 years? My concern is that in 2022, I only worked for 4 months total because I spent most of the year on vacation in his country. So my income for 2022 definitely does not meet poverty guidelines. Then in 2021, I was married and I had a joint tax return. So i’m not sure which info from that tax return I should submit
