Been aware of and have enjoyed Dave's playing for quite awhile. However, beginning to realize what a fantastic player he really is. I enjoy Dave's playing far more than many of the "celebrated" current crop of modern blues masters. The current issue of Guitar World has a list of blues greats. Dave should be on it. Certainly not a competition, just my own realization of Dave's brilliance!
Been listening to Dave’s videos for years now, and you’re absolutely right! There’s a lot of great blues players out there today, but Dave is severely under-appreciated. Why someone hasn’t scooped him up from a label, or even to do session work on some prominent projects is beyond me. If he didn’t live halfway around the world I’d get my producer to take him on. There’s no doubt in my mind he would want to work with him. I get to hear some pretty special guitarists all the time, and Dave really is up there with some of the greatest players I’ve ever heard. I don’t think he even realizes just how incredible his talent is, and I just hope that with time as he carves out his legacy that the right person comes across him.

You really made this thing sound nice. Fine playing, sir. I know you have said before that you favor a constantly flowing style rather than the short phrasing with spaces common to blues style, but the sections where you played in that way were particularly nice.
Your friend Charlie would be so proud of you :) Awesome blues playing......could ask you 20 questions on so many little things you did in that 26 minutes of fire! As for the pedal....I want one :)
The Fender Pugilist is, forgive the pun, one hard hitting pedal. It knocked out my MXR Distortion+. The dual gains in series is ultra saturated distortion beauty. My Telecasters love it, especially my Squier Classic Vibe 50's model with the Fender Custom Shop '51 Nocaster' pickups. Great playing, btw. Lots of soul. Really lovely around the 18:58 point. Not a million notes per measure wanking, but real melodic yumminess.
Awesome jam as always Dave, very inspiring! I was just practicing with my week old (counting from when I got it) Harley Benton SC-Custom VB but using virtual amps and effects on my computer. Totally new to this but as I learn my scales I am also playing with diffrent tones and I'm loving a virtual Fuzz Face (free VST) in front of the Amplitube version of what I guess must be a take on a Marshall. Very Hendrixy overdrive/distortion with that. That Fender pedal sounded sweet, but for me it's all VST for the time being. I watched more to hear you play than out of interest for the gear to be honest!

I think you come about the closest to that Gary Moore, as well as Peter Green thing. You just absolutely nail both them, and honestly think they’d both find you to be one hell of a player. Your blues stuff is just scary levels of good! I think your good friend Charlie would be very, very proud of you my friend.
I was on the fence on this one. Just price wise I was like “I can get something for half the price.” But I think Brother Dave has shown me sometimes it’s okay to spend a little more to sound killer 🎸😊 And that pedal sounds so killer with the Les Paul.
BRAVO! i like what Fender did with those pedals, that one sounds great, they made 1st class high quality pedals that sounds damn good and they cost normal, now that is great. What you did to LP? you took of finish Dave or...? What to say about playing ☺ as usually brutally GOOD!

Dave, serious question. Can i swiich a rose wood fret board with a maple fretboard withot any fret problems ? It my white strat mim and love it. But at 53 it is difficult to see it

You can indeed switch necks but be aware of the neck screw holes. Makes sure they line up. Also make sure the string alignment is right. :)

I found an issue on its power, with a ussual 9v power supply it doesnt work as it should, what power supply should i use for this pedal?
